Abstract

Motivation influences individual behavior, with motivation individuals can exert their best abilities for HMPS. So that it can produce something, both for the individual and for HMPS. This research aims to (1) find the driving factors for Sociology Education students in joining the Sociology Education Student Association (HMPS). (2) find the goals that members want to achieve in participating in HMPS. (3) finding the efforts of HMPS members in achieving goals. This study used qualitative research methods. The data sources used were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. There were 10 informants in this study. With the specified informant criteria, namely the Sharing Committee (SC) and department heads. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing techniques, namely by extending observations, increasing persistence, and triangulation. The results of this research show that (1) the driving factors for Sociology Education students in taking HMPS, namely a) because of the desire to improve their own abilities, b) because they are interested in the HMPS work program, c) because of the environment around the students. (2) goals to be achieved, namely a) goals to be achieved for oneself, b) goals to be achieved for HMPS. (3) HMPS members' efforts to achieve goals, namely a) members' efforts to achieve goals for themselves, b) members' efforts to achieve goals for HMPS.

Abstract

The Bantaran Anak Sungai Veteran Fruit Market is one of the fruit markets in East Banjarmasin. There are divisions of days for traders who trade on the market. This research aims to find out about the portrait of traders' lives at the Bantaran Anak Sungai Veteran fruit market, namely daily activities and trading activities. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data sources used were primary and secondary data, informants were selected using purposive sampling with six informants. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection technique in this research was carried out using analytical techniques using qualitative analysis with data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusions. The research results show that: (1) daily activities carried out by traders are divided into five times, namely activities carried out by traders at dawn, morning, afternoon, evening and night. (2) Trading activities are divided into three, namely: preparation for trading, starting with opening the tarpaulin, cleaning the trading stall, arranging fruits and vegetables according to their type. The trading process carried out by fruit traders is how to attract customers and haggle over prices. Finishing trading includes: calculating expenses and income, sorting fruit that is still good and almost yellowish, arranging the fruit in a basket, and covering the trade using a used tarpaulin or banner.

Abstract

Jamu processors and sellers group in Kampung Pejabat tourism object have the potential of social capital for the development of tourism objects. This study aims to find out the elements of social capital owned by the jamu processors and sellers group in Kampung Pejabat tourism object. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data source technique using purposive sampling and informants in this study revealed six people. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is to reduce the data, present the data and draw conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study found that the elements of social capital owned by jamu processors and sellers group in Kampung Pejabat tourism object include a) trust; which consists of ascriptive beliefs and processual beliefs b) norms; which is formed from spatial similarity, common identity and common purpose c) social networks; there are bonding social capital, bridging social capital and linking social capital.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to explain the social processes carried out by online game Clash Of Clans (COC) players; (2) To describe the impact of playing the online game Clash Of Clans (COC). The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data sources were selected by purposive sampling. Data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Technical data analysis uses qualitative analysis with data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the social processes carried out by online game Clash Of Clans (COC) players consist of cooperation, competition and conflict; (2) The results of the discussion on the impact of playing the online game Clash Of Clans (COC) among students of the Sociology and Anthropology Education Study Program FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University Banjarmasin had an effect on waste, time, entertainment and psychology. Based on the results of the research, it is suggested that: (1) students should be able to take advantage of the facilities provided by the campus so that they can function properly; (2) The government can provide supervision over the use of the internet so that it can be used as best as possible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see: (1) describe the causes of two-wheeled motor vehicle users not wearing helmets on street Ahmad Yani, KM 4.5 East Banjarmasin. (2) describes traffic perceptions among two-wheeled motor vehicle users who do not use helmets on street Ahmad Yani, KM 4.5 East Banjarmasin. This study uses a qualitative method. incidental sampling used in the selection of data sources and informants in this study amounted to 14 people. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate the reason that two-wheeled motorized vehicle users are accustomed to not wearing a helmet, namely the trip is quite close and there is no ticket from the SATLANTAS officers. Perceptions of traffic violations among users of two-wheeled motorized vehicles who do not use helmets, namely deliberately not wearing helmets and not having any warning from traffic officers
