This journal has been ACCREDITED by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Second Grade (Peringkat 3, Sinta 3) since year 2018 to 2022 according to the decree No. 23/E/KPT/2019. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers and will go to the next selection by Blind Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. For each manuscript, peer reviewers will rate the substantial and technical aspects, peer reviewers who collaborate with JHeS (Journal of Health Studies).

Abstract

Hypertension is often found in patients with type 2 diabetes. Albumin Creatinine Ratio (ACR) is used to detect early symptoms of kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes. The aim of this study is to determine the correlation between ACR and hypertension, as well as its relationship with other risk factors in type diabetes patients 2. Data were collected from 112 diabetic patients at PROLANIS FKTP Banyumas to see ACR and blood pressure. The results showed that poor glycemic control could be one of the risk factors. It can be concluded that detecting kidney dysfunction through ACR and starting treatment as early as possible can avoid the worst possibilities in type 2 diabetes patients.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam pendidikan kesehatan akan membantu memperjelas informasi yang disampaikan karena tampilan lebih menarik dan mudah dioperasikan serta melibatkan banyak panca indra. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas aplikasi android kesehatan reproduksi remaja terhadap perbaikan perilaku seksual pranikah di SMK PI Ambarrukmo I Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Jumlah sampel 100 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, pre-test dan post-test. Hasil deskritif menunjukan peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian aplikasi android. Variabel pengetahuan rata-rata peningkatan 10 poin, sikap 27,28 poin, dan perilaku seksual pranikah 14 poin. Hasil bivariat menunjukkan pengetahuan meningkat 0,36; sikap 3,26; perilaku 0,14; perbedaan pengetahuan interpensi dan kontrol 0,68; sikap 4,8; dan perilaku 0,32. Hasil multivariat menunjukan pengetahuan, sig 0,049; OR 0,376. Sikap, sig 0,001; OR 0,718. Berdasarkan penelitian maka penggunaan aplikasi android kesehatan reproduksi efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan dapat memperbaiki sikap, perilaku seksual pranikah.

Abstract

Hipergelikemia merupakan salah satu permasalahan pasien Diabetes Melitus akibat kekurangan sereksi insulin, dapat diatasi menggunakan kayu manis (Cinnammon Burmanni) dan jahe merah (Zingeber Offcinale). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian seduhan kayu manis (Cinnammon Burmanni) dan jahe merah (Zingeber Offcinale) terhadap kadar glukosa darah. Desain penelitian digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen pre dan post two group. Dengan sampel adalah 24 sampel dibagi 2 kelompok, menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling dengan uji Dependen di dapatkan hasil ada pengaruh kedua kelompok terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan dilihat selisih  kelompok kayu manis memiliki selisih rata-rata kadar glukosa darah lebih tinggi dari pada jahe merah.
