JHeS (Journal of Health Studies) published since March 2017 by Universitas Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. Published twice a year in March and September. Contains the writings of research results with the theme health. ISSN print: 2549-3345, ISSN Online: 2549-3353. JHeS (Journal of Health Studies) particularly focuses on the main problems: Midwifery, Nursing, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Health Analyst, Nutrition, Health Management, Health-Accounting, Health Communication, Health Education, Public administration in health, Health Psychology, Biotechnology Health, Health Architecture, Health Information Technology Anastesiologi, Material and Health Technology, other. This journal has been ACCREDITED by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Second Grade (Peringkat 3, Sinta 3) since year 2018 to 2022 according to the decree No. 23/E/KPT/2019. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers and will go to the next selection by Blind Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. For each manuscript, peer reviewers will rate the substantial and technical aspects, peer reviewers who collaborate with JHeS (Journal of Health Studies).

Abstract

This research was conducted explore the effect of self help group intervention to the knowledge level of hypertention patient in Sonopakis Village Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta. A pre experiment research using one group pre test post design was conducted. Purposive sampling techniques was selected to recruited participants. The data was analized by using Wilcoxon. The result shows that self help group model has a significant influence to increase knowledge level of patient with hypertention (p=0.000). Awareness of negative outcome of hypertention is needed.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to identify the influence of counseling and educating program on the mothers’ knowledge about pneumonia in toddler The method of the research was Pre experiment with cross sectional time approach. The design of the research was one group pre-test post-test design. Total Sampling was applied, and the samples of the research were 45 people. The Data were collected by questionnaire. The data were analyzed by Wilcoxon match pairs test. The statistical test resultobtained p value 0.000 (p value lower than 0.05). There was an effect of counseling and educating program to the mothers’ knowledge about pneumonia in toddler at Matahari Maternal Health Center Sariharjo village, the working area of Ngaglik II Primary Health Care.

Abstract

Pneumonia merupakan penyebab kedua kematian balita di dunia. Berbagai strategi telah dilakukan tetapi insiden pneumonia pada anak masih tetap tinggi. Tujuan literatur review adalah mengkaji efektivitas strategi pengendalian pneumonia untuk menurunkan angka kematian anak di Indonesia. Literatur review melalui penelusuran artikel publikasi tahun 2008-2018 pada Science Direct, EBSCO, PubMed, Google Scholar yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penilaian kualitas penelitian menggunakan pedoman SQUIRE (Standards for Quality Improvement Reporting Excellence).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor risiko jatuh pada lansia. Rancangan penelitian adalah cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 36 lansia di Panti X Surabaya diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Seluruh responden berusia ≥60 tahun, bisa berkomunikasi, membaca, menulis dan menjawab pertanyaan dalam kuesioner. Hasil uji korelasi didapatkan jenis kelamin dan mobilitas mempunyai hubungan dengan jatuh dengan p 0,023 dan 0,018. Mobilitas merupakan faktor risiko yang paling kuat berpengaruh terhadap jatuh dengan nilai p 0,086 dan B 0,408.

Abstract

Penyakitajantung koronerabisa diaatasi denganatindakan operasi Coronay Artery bypass Grafting (CABG). Setelah  ekstubasi, untuk mencegah  hipoksemia  segera diterapi oksigen sesuai dengan kondisi pasien terutama pada 24 jam pertama. Penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian terapi oksigen binasal kanul dengan sungkup muka sederhana. Desainapenelitianaquasi eksperimen preadan postatwo group dengan populasi pasien CABGadi ICU bedahaRumah Sakit Jantungadan PembuluhaDarah HarapanaKita. Terdiri dari 32 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling, 16 responden dilakukan intervensi terapi oksigen binasal kanul dan 16 responden dengan sungkup muka sederhana. Hasil uji Mann Whitney kenaikan rata-rata saturasi oksigen setelah intervensi binasal kanul dengan sungkup muka sederhana diperoleh pavalue  0,591 alpha (0,05).

Abstract

Hipertensi jika tidak terkendali menimbulkan komplikasi bahkan kematian. Penatalaksaan hipertensi melalui latihan fisik masih jarang dilakukan oleh lansia yang menderita hipertensi. Salah satu penanganan hipertensi adalah dengan melakukan senam Qigong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam qigong terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi. Metode penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Teknik sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh nilai signifikan pada tekanan darah sistolik p-value 0,002 (sig0,05) dan tekanan darah diastolik p-value 0,002 (sig0,05). Terdapat pengaruh senam qigong terhadap penurunan tekanan darah. Lansia hipertensi diharapkan dapat melakukan senam qigong secara rutin untuk menjaga kestabilan tekanan darah.

Abstract

Masih tingginya prevelensi diabetes melitus pada ibu hamil mempengaruhi ibu dan keturunannya, dan merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang terus meningkat. Dengan adanya pelaksanaan interprofesional colaboration dalam gestasional diabetes mellitus pada ibu hamil dapat menjadi upaya yang efektif dan komprehensif untuk menurunkan angka kejadian gestasional diabetes mellitus pada ibu hamil.Tujuan: Mengetahui peran dan hambatan praktik kolaborasi dalam kesehatan pada kehamilan diabetes melitus. Metode: Pencarian sistematis dalam database pubmed, proquest, Ebsco, Sciene Direct dan Googles cholar mendapatkan 1031 artikel. Mengikuti kriteria inklusi, 7 (Tujuh) artikel memenuhi syarat dan  Mengikuti kerangka kerja Arksey dan O'Malley. Hasil: Analisis tematik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep inti. Penulis mengelompokkan konsep inti ini kedalam dua tema yaitu peran tenaga kesehatan dan hambatan dalam praktik kolaborasi kesehatan pada asuhan ibu hamil dengan diabetes militus. Kesimpulan: Peran tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan asuhan pada ibu hamil dengan diabetes melitus sangat berpengaruh dalam praktik kolaborasi dalam menurunkan prevalensi diabetes militus pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to study Literature review to determine whether the Surgical Safety Checklist can improve patient safety in the hospital in collaboration with other health team. This research method is the publication of the article searches on Google Scholar, PubMed, Ebscho with selected keywords ie Surgical Safety Checkliat, collaboration, Patient Safety. The search was performed by limiting the issue of 2006-2015. Results of literature search showed that the IPE can effectively build the ability of nurses to collaborate with other health professionals. IPE expected implementation can be implemented on an ongoing basis with the preparation over the maximum again, considering the health institution is a major provider of professional health personnel candidates.Keywords: surgical safety checklist, collaboration, patient safety

Abstract

The nursing profession is a stressful job and prone to stress due to the complexity of job demands and needs, high expectations, many responsibilities, and limited authority. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between workload and the work stress of nurses at the Ajibarang Regional General Hospital, Banyumas Regency in 2021.  This research is an analytical survey using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this study was a total sample of 68 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-square test. The majority of respondents were female (60.2%). The workload of nurses was the most in the heavy category (67.6%) while the work stress of the majority of respondents was in the moderate category (61.8%). The results of this study showed a relationship between workload and the incidence of work stress in nurses by a p-value of 0.000 (a= 0.05%). Hospital management is obliged to ensure a balance between the needs of patients and the number and competence of nurses. This is to avoid work stress on nurses in order to improve the quality of service and patient safety.

Abstract

This educational innovation follows the development of the times, where mobile phones become the main electronic tool in the wider community. Researchers develop these innovations by providing general education about chronic kidney failure, nutritional diet and fluid restrictions packed inside an android app. It aims to allow patients to easily access information about chronic renal failure in an increasingly sophisticated technological era. In addition to the information, researchers  also added some additional menus or features of the profile, calculator GFR, daily reminder, UF recordings that help patients to facilitate the recording on the phone. Educational counseling android-based applications for two days ie 15-16 January 2018 in the Hemodialisa unit PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. Respondents were given education as many as 30 people. The results of the pre and post test questionnaires were processed using SPSS version 16 with Wilcoxon's pre-post test nonparametics. Based on the results obtained for pre and post test of p value 0,000. Applications android Pocket Book Patient This dialysis provides benefits and improves the knowledge of patients who run dialysis in a modern way and easy to access both patients and families.
