Abstract

This study aims to examine the biopesticide application of Trichoderma sp. to control leaf blight on potatoes. This research was conducted at the campus microbiology laboratory of Sidoarjo Muhammadiyah University, Gelam village, Sidoarjo district temple district and Tulungrejo village land, Bumiaji Sumberbrantas, Batu East Java, from July to September 2018. This study was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 8 times so that 32 experimental units were obtained. The variables observed were stover wet weight, stover dry weight, total tuber weight, and rotten tuber weight. Data were analyzed by various ANOVA analysis followed by BNJ test at 5% level. The results showed that Trichoderma biopesticide had no significant effect on the weight of the stover of potato plants both wet and dry, and on the total tuber weight. But it has a difference in reducing rotten tubers.

Abstract

The main objective of this investigation was to study The Effects of PGR Soaking Treatment and Cow Manure Fertilizer Dosage On Corn (Zea mays L.) Variety Arjuna Growth and Yield, this experiment was conducted at Jiken village, Tulangan, Sidoarjoduring April to July 2018,This research used a two factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) and repeated three times. The first faktor was PGR Soaking treatment (0, 15, and 20ml/liter). The second factor was Cow Manure Fertilizer (10, 20, dan 30 ton/ha). Parameters research focused on buds appeared time, plant height, the number of leaves, stem diameters, cob of corn fresh weight, cob of corn dry weight, and corn seed dry weight. This research reflectedsignificant differences interaction between PGR Soaking Treatment and Cow Manure Fertilizer Dosage in plant height (42 DAP). PGR Soaking Treatment reflected significant differences in cob of corn, number of leaves (56 DAP), and very significant differences of corn fresh weight and dry weight, and corn seed dry weight. Cow Manure Fertilizer Dosage reflected significant differences in cob of corn fresh weight and dry weight, and corn seed dry weight.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of P fertilizer on the growth and production of green beans plants (Phaseolus radiates L.). This research was carried out on paddy fields in the village Jiken district of reinforcement sidoarjo regency in May 2018 until July 2018. This study used a randomized design of single factor group with 6 threatment and 3 replications so that experimental units were obtained. As for the thretament is the dose of P fertilizer as follows: P1 = 25 kg/ha, P2 = 50 kg/ha, P3 = 75 kg/ha, P4 = 100 kg/ha, P5 = 125 kg/ha, P6 = 150 kg/ha. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of pods, number of flowers, number of pods, number of pods, weight of pods, weight of stover, and weight of 100 seeds. The results of the study were than analyzed using analysis of variance or ANOVA and continued by using a 5% method. After the ANOVA test and BNJ 5% showed that the effect of P fertilizer significantly affected the plant height variable at 12 days after planting. While the dosage of P fertilizer gives the best results, namely the variable plant height at P6 threatment with a dose of P fertilizer as much as 150 kg/ha showed the highest average yield of 22,00 and while the threatment of P1 with a dose of P fertilizer as much as 25 kg/ha showed the lowest yield that is equal to 3,61.

Abstract

Sweet corn is one of the economically valuable agricultural commodities. From year to year the production value has increased as in 2015 the harvested area was 3.79 million / ha with a production of 19.61 million / ha. This study aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer and sweet corn varieties on growth and production. This research was carried out on the land of Jiken Village, District Reinforcement. Sidoarjo and in the Agrokomplek Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo from March to July 2018. This research used factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, factor 1: NPK fertilizer 100 kg / ha (M1), 200 kg / ha (M2), and 300 kg / ha (M3). Factor 2: ASIA 86 F1 (V1) sweet corn varieties, BONAZA F1 (V2), and TALENTA (V3). Of these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were repeated and 3 replications were repeated so that 27 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that there was a response between NPK fertilizer and several varieties of sweet corn, NPK fertilizer treatment showed that NPK fertilizer was able to increase the row of unsuspecting seeds, while in some varieties sweet corn was able to increase weighted cob, weightless cornballs, length of cropping cob. The number of planting seeds and the number of rows of seeds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction between the treatment of the effect of the volume of the planting medium and the duration of immersion of zpt on growth the beginning of sugarcane seedlings (Saccharum officinarum L) bud chip system, carried out at the green hause of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo from November to January 2016. The research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK), consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the treatment for the duration of ZPT immersion which consisted of 4 levels, namely without ZPT immersion, 2 hours of ZPT immersion, 4 hours of ZPT immersion, 6 hours of ZPT immersion, 8 hours of ZPT immersion, while the second factor was the volume of the planting medium which consisted of two types, i.e. 80ml, 200ml. Based on the results of the study, the analysis of various combinations of treatment combinations of planting media volume and immersion time of ZPT had no significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, plant diameter, root length, root weight. ZPT immersion in bud chip system sugarcane seedlings at time intervals did not show a significant effect. The use of volume of planting media at the level of 80 ml and V2 200 ml showed a very real interaction. The best use of the volume of planting media with 200 ml per sugarcane bud chip seed.

Abstract

Rice water is very high in carbohydrates and protein. But much of it is thrown away and not used. This is an alternative material for making liquid organic fertilizer. To be able to take advantage of the water, you need lactobacillus bacteria to break it down. Cow's milk contains lactobacillus bacteria which function as decomposers. With a combination of lactobacillus bacteria with rice water, it will be a good organic fertilizer. The purpose of this research was to determine whether leri water and lactobacillus bacteria could be used as liquid organic fertilizers, to determine whether leri water and lactobacillus bacteria had an effect on the growth and production of mustard plants, to determine the nutritional content of mustard plants which were given liquid organic fertilizer with inorganic. The study was conducted in February 2017 - May 2017 with a randomized block design (RBD) with 6 levels and repeated 5 times. The parameters observed were the number of leaves, weevil diameter, plant length, total wet rice, accumulative selling weight and nutritional content of mustard greens. The analysis used was analysis of variance and continued with the 5% BNJ test. Based on the results of data analysis and conclusions, it can be concluded that leri water and lactobacillus bacteria have an effect on the growth and production of mustard greens. In the K5 treatment (5 cc / liter) has a significant effect on all observations. K6 (inorganic fertilizer) gets the highest value because it is a comparison for liquid organic fertilizers
