Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of biological fertilizers and moisture content on the growth and production of soybean varieties Dena-1. Held in the Laboratory and Greenhouse of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, to coincide from February to April 2020. Experiments were arranged factorial in a completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor is the application of biological fertilizers consisting of: without microorganisms, mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, and mycorrhizae and Trichoderma; while the second factor is the ground water content consisting of 20%, 10%, and 5%. The variables observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of pods, number of seeds, dry weight of seeds, and dry weight of stems per polybag. Data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by the Least Significant Difference 5% test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant interaction of trichoderma biofertilizer and 5% moisture content on plant height at 7 days after planting, biological fertilizers had a significant effect on plant height 7 and 14 day after planting, stem diameter 7, 14, 21, 28 , 35, 42, 49 and 56 day after planting, also had a significant effect on seed dry weight and stover dry weight, water content had a very significant effect on plant height at 14 day after planting with the lowest 5% moisture content treatment.

Abstract

Glutinous corn or waxy corn or glutinous corn (Zea mays ceratina. L) is a special type of corn that has the potential as a source of diversification of food and industrial materials. Glutinous corn is a source of germplasm to become new cultivars through plant breeding. This study aims to determine the effect of spacing on the growth and production of glutinous corn (Zea mays ceratina L.). This research was carried out in the farmers’ land of Jiken Village, Tulangan Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. With a height of ± 7 meters above sea level, Ph 6.5 and a temperature of 25-27 ° C. The study was conducted from February to April 2020. This study used a single Randomized Group Design (RCBD), with a plant spacing factor: spacing factor 40 x 15 cm, spacing factor 40 x 20 cm, spacing factor 40 x 25 cm, spacing factor 40 x 30 cm and spacing factor 40 x 35 cm. From these factors, 5 treatments were obtained and repeated 4 times so that 20 experimental units were obtained. The results of this study indicate the effect of spacing on the growth and production of glutinous corn, on the spacing of planting spacing, it shows that spacing can increase Plant Height, number of seed consoles, number of row row, number of seeds perongkol, length of planting cobs and diameter of planting cobs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the phytohormone concentration of bean sprout extract which is effective against the growth of cayenne pepper plants. This research was conducted in the hamlet of Mojosantren, Kelurahan Kemasan, Krian District, Sidoarjo at an altitude of ± 10 m above sea level. The study was conducted in January to March 2020. This study was compiled using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications to obtain 18 experimental units. Variables observed were the emergence of shoots, plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of branches, flower appearance, root length, and root volume. Data were analyzed with ANOVA variety followed by BNJ with the level of confidence according to the results of the annova. The results showed that there was a very significant influence on the observed variables when the emergence of shoots, plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of branches, root length and root volume. Then the real effect occurs on the observation variable when the flower emerges.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of Trichoderma sp and the provision of goat manure on the growth and production of shallots (Allium cepa L), carried out in Jiken village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, from January to March 2020. The experiment was arranged factorial using a randomized block design. with 2 factors. Factor 1: frequency of application of Trichoderma sp, control, once / 1 week, once / 2 weeks. Factor 2: goat manure dose, control, 5 tonnes / ha, 10 tonnes / ha. From these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained and were repeated 3 times so that there were 27 experimental units. The results showed that the combination of the frequency of Trichoderma sp application and the dose of goat manure did not interact with all the observation variables, both the vegetative phase and the generative phase, while the treatment frequency of Trichoderma sp application had a significant effect on the observed variable plant length at 30 days of age. The number of leaves at the age of 20 days and 30 days of age, the wet weight of the tubers per plant, the dry weight of the tubers per plant showed a very significant effect, with the frequency of application of Trichoderma sp. which is significant in the variable plant length observations at 30 days and 40 days of age, tuber wet weight per plot. With a goat manure dose of 10 tons / ha.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between KNO3 and pruning on the growth and production of cherry tomato plants. To determine the response between treatments on the growth and production of cherry tomato plants. The research was conducted in December 2017 - March 2018 using a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors and repeated 3 times. The first factor is KNO3, namely control, 2 gr, 4 gr and 6 gr, while the second factor is pruning and without trimming. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, fruit weight per plant, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per 20 fruit, plant wet weight, plant dry weight. The analysis used was analysis of variance and continued with the 1% and 5% BNJ test.
