Abstract

Resilience is an important ability possessed by individuals when facing a stressful situation in order to be able to survive and bounce back, including when facing the Covid-19 pandemic and being a Covid-19 survivor. Healthcare workers are one of the professions that are most vulnerable being psychologically affected when handling the Covid-19 pandemic. There are many reasons why Healthcare Workers experience psychological pressures when handling the Covid-19 pandemic; those are increasing workload, changing work situations and techniques, and facing stigma from the community. Those pressures are increased when they become Covid-19 survivors. The Healthcare Workers experienced boredom, stress, and anxiety in their recovery process, and it got worse when their family was also infected with Covid-19 because the healthcare workers were not merely thinking about their own condition but also thinking about their families condition. This study aims to see an overview of the resilience process in Healthcare Workers whose whole family members also become positive Covid-19 survivors. This study used a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach and applied interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) for the data analysis techniques. The subjects in this study consisted of three Healthcare Workers Covid-19 survivors who work in one of the Public Health Centre in Payakumbuh, whose whole family became Covid-19 survivors too. This study applied a semi-structured interview technique and used interview guidelines as a data collection method. The results of this study found that the three subjects went through a phase in the process for resilience. In the three subjects, eight themes related to resilience were found, namely Stress Facing, Comprehension of Condition, Concern to Others, Optimism, Coping Strategies, Receive and Adaptation, Support System, and Wisdom.

This research is a quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The design of this study used a group of subjects who were subjected to treatment for a certain period of time, measurements were made before and after the treatment was given. The data analysis used in this study was the nonparametric Mann Whitney test. Based on this data analysis, it was concluded that there was an increase in the reading ability of mild mentally retarded children with Mean Rank pretest = 4.50 and posttest = 10.50 and there was no increase in the verbal creativity of mild mentally retarded children with Mean Rank pretest = 6.43 and posttest = 8 , 57. Abstract

As social beings, everyone is required to be able to adjust in the social environment. But in fact, there are individuals who have difficulty adjusting because they have social skills deficits. Deficits of social skills can be measured using the social skills rating system (SSRS) which refers to the theory of Gresham and Elliott which explains that there are three aspects that can be used as a reference for measuring social skills, namely the ability to cooperate, assertive behavior, and the ability to control oneself. Based on these conditions, researchers conducted experimental research to determine the effectiveness of Social Skills Training (SST) as an effort to overcome social skill deficits owned by individuals. This study involved a 7-year-old boy who was studying at an elementary school. Based on the results of the SSRS measurement, the child has a deficit in social skills. The method used in this research is a single case experimental design (DEKT), with pre-test and post-test applied to the subject. The result is Social Skills. The training was able to improve the subject's social skills. The increase that occurred included all three aspects of social skills, namely the subject had shown the ability to work together with his peers, was able to convey what he wanted, thought, and felt, and was able to control himself when he was in an unpleasant situation. Overall, the subject's social skills after the SST intervention were in the high category.
