Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Sistem Industri is an open access and peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year (March and September). Abstract

Today, technology significantly impacts the buying and selling process, which once required face-to-face interactions between buyers and sellers. Now, thanks to technological advancements, transactions are easier and more efficient through online shopping. The rapid development of the buying and selling system has made reseller and dropshipper models increasingly popular. This study focuses on the reseller model, specifically reselling Ms Glow beauty products. However, this business model comes with inherent risks that require effective risk management. The research uses a case study approach, document analysis, and a Systematic Literature Review. The findings highlight that reselling Ms. Glow products exposes individuals to risks such as market uncertainty, intense competition, and counterfeit goods. To mitigate these risks, a risk management process is applied, starting with risk identification and progressing to risk response planning, which includes avoidance strategies based on historical methods and risk management indicators.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah serius yang sedang dihadapi oleh beberapa negara ialah sampah makanan. Persentase timbulan sampah makanan di Indonesia selama 20 tahun terakhir cenderung mengalami kenaikan. Pada tahun 2000 timbulan sampah makanan di Indonesia sebesar 39% sedangkan pada tahun 2019 meningkat menjadi 55%. Dan dari 44% sampah makanan merupakan makanan yang masih layak konsumsi. Terdapat berbagai macam faktor yang dapat memengaruhi banyaknya timbulan sampah makanan. Salah satunya ialah food waste behavior atau perilaku seseorang pada sampah makanan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan menganalisis kuantitas dan komposisi timbulan sampah dari salah satu supermarket yang berada di Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Adapun ada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan survey berupa data sekunder, yaitu data yang dikumpulkan peneliti yang berasal dari salah satu supermarket di Surabaya. Data sekunder komposisi dan timbulan sampah yang didapat adalah Buah Buah/biji berminyak (kacang tanah, kacang hijau, dan kelapa), Padi – padian (gandum, beras, jagung, tepung terigu), Sayuran, Daging (sapi, kambing, ayam, babi), Ikan, Susu, Telur, Makanan berpati, Gula, Minyak dan lemak. Dari data yang sudah didapat, diketahui bahwa Timbulan sampah makanan pada Supermarket X ialah sebesar 40,8 kg per hari dengan komposisi sampah yang mendominasi ialah sayur, buah, dan daging.

Abstract

Inherent risk in Islamic banking refers to risks arising from business activities that can impact the bank’s financial position, whether measurable or not. Reputation risk is a critical concern, influenced by factors such as ineffective communication strategies and negative media coverage. This risk affects not only individual banks but the entire Islamic banking industry, as a negative event involving one bank can damage the reputation of others. Effective risk management requires active oversight by the board of commissioners, management, and the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), alongside clear policies, risk limits, and methods for identification, measurement, and control. The most effective approach to managing reputation risk is through proactive prevention and reputation maintenance programs. Reputation is an intangible yet valuable asset for Islamic banks, and addressing reputational risk preventively is crucial, given the high costs and potential industry-wide damage that can result from reputational crises.

Abstract

Today's internet users are mostly used by children to teenagers and are instead used as access to social media for communication and finding information. The development of information technology every second has a positive and negative impact. The positive side of this virtual world will definitely increase the trend of global technological development along with various forms of things that humans do in the digital era. This lack of accuracy leads people to pay less attention to the information they read or obtain, and to think that nothing bad will happen until they become victims themselves. Such indifference weakens the level of security awareness and vigilance. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the risks of many cybercrime cases and what innovations have been made to prevent cybercrime from spreading to society. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that allows us to collect information through various tools and techniques to find information about how to prevent the emergence of threats in cyberspace. Then combined into one so that the phenomena experienced by the subject are more easily understood by the reader. The author found a recent case of the Cyber Crime phenomenon that exists in cyberspace, namely criminals providing an application which, when opened, the application can retrieve victim data automatically. The results of this study are in the form of information that will be obtained by readers how high the crime rate is in cyberspace.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information technology forces businesses to continuously adapt and utilize new innovations, offering solutions for operational, business, and financial challenges. However, implementing IT requires a framework to identify risks and create mitigation strategies. Despite its benefits, IT carries risks of failure and high investment costs, necessitating consistent oversight. Companies must adopt risk management practices to understand and manage these risks. The COBIT 4.1 framework helps align IT with business processes, assess and manage risks, evaluate maturity levels, and offer recommendations. This study follows a multi-stage approach, including literature review, risk identification, assessment, response planning, and maturity evaluation.

Abstract

Pasuruan City has experienced a 10.2% increase in the number of industries, with the furniture industry serving as a key driver of the local economy. The furniture sector in Pasuruan is highly developed, with production that has penetrated international markets. However, the rise of E-Commerce has rapidly transformed traditional business practices, significantly impacting conventional furniture traders in the city. This research aims to examine how E-Commerce affects these traditional traders. Using a quantitative approach, the study sampled 30 furniture business owners selected through non-probability sampling. Data was collected via a Google Form questionnaire and processed using Excel software. The findings indicate a strong and significant correlation between E-Commerce and the traditional furniture industry, showing that E-Commerce has a positive influence and offers substantial benefits to conventional furniture traders in Pasuruan City.

Abstract

In the digital age, social media is predominantly used by various groups, especially teenagers, mainly for entertainment and social connections. However, if viewed from a positive perspective, social media can also serve as a platform to create job opportunities for individuals. This study aims to examine whether social media influences the entrepreneurial interest of teenagers in Pasuruan district. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to over 100 teenage respondents in the district. The study used correlation and significance analysis techniques. The findings indicate that social media (variable X) has a strong impact on teenagers' entrepreneurial interest (variable Y) in Pasuruan district. The results reveal a significant relationship, with a correlation value of 0.725 and a coefficient of determination of 0.525, meaning 52.5% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest can be explained by social media.
