Abstract

The history of java cannot be separated from the history of Javanese kingdoms. One of them is Mataram. This kingdom has a capital in Yogyakarta and can be considered as ?the last kingdom? exists until recent time. One of the most interesting characteristics of Mataram is the correlation and interaction between Islamic teachings and the Kings.

Abstract

To build physical needs usually will be easier than to build human resources. The state of development in very country will be identified by the state of their human resources. It is, therefore, important to develop human resources to be skilfull in many fields. When economic affairs are considered as the strategic basic of national development program, building human resources must be understood as the most strategic conditions to get the ideals of every nation.

Abstract

To solve the problems existing, the way of thinking on agriculture sector has to apply agribusiness approach. It is a system which consists of several subsystems, and one of the maincomponents is farming. The farming has interrelated to the subsystem of industry. As a result, farming is as the central core of agribusiness containing farmers, breeders, and fishermen. They act as the prime producer in agribusiness.

Abstract

Historically, the thinking of Islam has two patterns competing to progress each other. Firstly, the pattern of thinking traditionally is based on revelation. Secondly, one which is based on empirical thinking. European took the empirical thinking pattern after Moslem had left it. Consequently, the world of Islam has given chance to sophism thinking pattern to exist which emphasized transcendental life and ignored the development of material world. The experts of Islam studies think the fact has caused Islam to stagnate in education and culture.
