Abstract

This research have purpose to know an influence concentration GA3 and composition mediumabout growth sedds damar (Agathis loranthifolia Salibs), on 1 month age. This research work inGreen house, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, The method of researchthat used is the factorial which stacked in the programme random of group. With 3 times repeat.Level way of treating are, concentration GA3 : A1 : control wothout GA3, A2 : 100 ppm, A3 : 200ppm, A4 : 300 ppm. Abstract

The mastitis in dairy cattle is caused by Staphylococcus aureus. The bacteria are multiresistantto antibiotic. Isolated of Aloe barbadensis Miller, that has antibacterial, saponin is needed to replacesynthetic antibiotic. The research has conducted to tested antibacterial activity of saponin for thegrowth of Staphylococcus aureus.Saponin was exstracted from gel of Aloe vera leafs by 95% ethanol, 50% ethanol and nbutanol.Isolated of saponin used to the Coulom Cromatography and Thin Layer Cromatography. Itneeds ?Liebermann-Burchad? reagent, acetic anhidryde and sulfuric acid (1:1:1:1) for identifyingof saponin. These saponin preparation were detected by short wave U.V lamp on silica gel G platesdeveloped with solvent of butanol-ethanol-water (2 : 4: 4). The saponin?s powder was produced bydrying process, amylum or dexstrin as kinds of filler. The ratio of saponin and dexstrin was 80% :20%. Six levels of saponin were used in experiment i.e : 1,5%; 3,0%; 6,2%; 12,5%; 25% and 50%.The parameters of the research were Minimum Inhibition Concentration (MIC) and cakram disk.The result of experiment was analysed with descriptively, penicillin was used as positive control.The saponin?s powder give antibacterial activity that higher than saponin?s concentrated. Therewere similarity in antibacterial activity between the saponin?s powder was added dextrin withpenicillin.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of calcium addition on foods to frequency offreshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus) moulting. This research has been done during 30 daysin Fisheries Indoor Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, University ofMuhammadiyah Malang.Result of research shows that calcium addition on foods success to increase frequency offreshwater lobster moulting. It shown by treathment B (2%) which has highest moulting frequency1,47. Then followed by treathment D (6%) = 1,40, treathment A (0%) = 1,27, and treathment C (4%)= 1,13. Calcium addition on foods also give positive effect to survival rate and growth of freshwaterlobster. All of treathments were added by calcium show that they have higher survival rate valuethan other treathments were not by added calcium. The sequential data of the average of freshwaterlobster survival rate are treathment B (2%) = 93,33%, D (6%) = 93,33%, C (4%) = 86,67%, dan A(0%) = 80 %. Whereas the sequential data of average to growth of freshwater lobster are treathmentB (2%) = 0,85 g, D (6%) = 0,79 g, C (4%) = 0,78 g, dan A (0%) = 0,73 g.

Abstract

The involvement of financial institutions is needed in the development of its business. What isthe mechanism between home industry partnerships with financial institutions is something thatneeds to be studied so that the synergy between the home industry with a financial institution canrun.This study is proposed as a whole is completed in 2 stages. Phase I aims to: Describe theprofile of home industry & financial institutions in the research area, describe the performance of anexisting home industry in the research area. Phase II aims to: analyze the ever growing system ofcooperation between the home industry with financial institutions in the research area, formulatethe concept of cooperation in order to knit synergy between the home industry with financialinstitutions in order to be profitable for both parties.

Abstract

Batu, with the aim to determine the effect of different concentrations of materials in fish spermdiluent ?Skim Yellow Egg? on the fertilization rate, hatching rate and sintasan carp (Cyprinus carpioL. ). The information gained is expected to assist fish farmers in general and fish hatchery unit orthe people in the context of intensification and efficiency in particular fish spawning carp (Cyprinuscarpio L.)The research method used is an experimental method, a Completely Randomized Design (CRD).Treatment to be studied consisted of 4 treatments and 1 control with 3 replicates, four treatments isthe ratio of diluent materials Skim Yellow Egg.The results of the research are the highest fertilization rate was found in treatment A (53.33%)and lowest in treatment D (37.67%), the rate of hatch (hatching rate) are the highest in treatment A(41.67%) and lowest in treatment D (31.33%), survival (survival rate) are the highest in treatment B(94.67%) and lowest in treatment A (93.33%).The conclusions showed that differences in the concentration of fish sperm diluent ?SkimYellow Egg? has a very significant effect on fertilization rate but no effect on hatching rate andsintasana carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). From the results of this study are advised to obtain the bestfertilization rate, should be used in treatment A formulation as follows: 50 ml distilled water, 6.25 gSkim Milk, Egg yolk 3.125 g, 0.625 g Fructose, Penicilin 0.213 g and 0.1 g streptomycin

Abstract

The research aims to study the response of seed germination and seedling growth of pine(Pinus merkusii jung et de vriese) with the application of solution concentration and dipping timeabitonik conducted in South Pujon seedbed RPH, BPKH Pujon, KPH Malang. The experimentbegan in September 2008 until May 2009.The research method used was a factorial experiment with Randomized Block Design (RBD),consisting of two factors, namely the first factor and second factor soaking Abitonik growth regulatorconcentration. Factor I: Long soaking, consists of three levels: P1 = Old soaking 20 minutes, P2 =Length of 40 minutes of immersion, submersion Old P3 = 60 minutes or 1 hour, Factor II:Concentration of growth regulators Abitonik, K1 = Concentration of solution 0, 04 cc / liter ofwater., K2 = concentration of solution 0.06 cc / liter of water., K3 = concentration of solution 0.08cc / liter of water, K4 = Concentration of solution 0.1 cc / liter of water.The research data from each observation parameters were analyzed by variance in accordancewith the randomized block design (RBD), the analysis was tested by using F test with a level of 5%.To compare among the treatments with one another treatment used Duncan?s test at 5% level.There is interaction between soaking time and concentration of growth regulators on theparameter Abitonik high seedling age 26 and 31 days after planting, total seedling leaf age 21 daysafter planting, and germination value. While the concentration of growth regulators Abitonik notprovide significant effect on germination of seeds Phinus. Parameters perlakuanlama germinationpercentage at 60 minutes of immersion (P3) of 59.73% and the concentration of 0.1 cc / l water (K4)of 59.22%.
