Abstract

Religious life in the practice of religious teachings is shaped by the cultural characteristics of each region. Religious teachings occupy a very important place in their lives and motivate the formation of a spirit of spiritual harmony in order to achieve the goals of Hinduism itself. The Nedeh ceremony is a series of religious activities where rice planting is carried out once every 50 days. Performing this ritual is a tribute to Dewi Sri for physical and mental well-being. The values ​​of Hindu religious education discussed in this study are: divine values, social values, aesthetic values, ethical or moral values ​​and the value of increasing morality and awareness, parallel. The existence of religious customs is supported by customs and religious customs. Pedagogical values ​​can shape and instill noble attitudes, personalities, and personalities so that humans can carry out their work in the future.

Abstract

Children who have just reached the age of teenagers have emotions that are still unstable in determining attitudes and are still easily influenced. And each child develops with its own characteristics. But in life and in relationships, emotions are needed as an activating energy for ethical values such as trust, integrity, empathy, tenacity and credibility, as well as for social capital, which is able to build and maintain mutually beneficial and trusting relationships.This study aims to determine the results of Hindu religious education, the level of emotional intelligence, and the correlation between Hindu religious education and the emotional intelligence of students in Junior High School. The subject studied 197 students, which were determined based on the Krejcie table, Warwick and Lininger formulas with proportional random sampling technique. The measurement of Hindu religious education uses the method of recording student learning outcomes. The instrument of emotional intelligence level is a closed category questionnaire with a vulnerable score of 1 to 5. The analytical technique used in this study is descriptive analysis, moment correlation with a rough number formula. This study found (1) the learning outcomes of students' Hindu religious education were in the medium category with an average of 75.40 from the ideal maximum value of 100; (2) the level of emotional intelligence of students is in the neutral category with an average of 124.66 from the ideal maximum score of 175; and (3) a positive and significant relationship between Hindu religious education and the level of emotional intelligence of students.After going through the research, namely the process of preparing instruments, testing instruments, collecting data and analyzing data, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education students are in the medium category with an average of 75.40. The emotional intelligence level of the students was in the neutral category with an average of 124.66. And it is clear that there is a positive and significant relationship between the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education on the level of emotional intelligence of students with the results of rcount = 0.159, meaning that increasing the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education will also increase the level of emotional intelligence of students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Religious Moderation has been discussed by the government through the Minister of Religious Affairs. Religious Moderation is done because lately there are many troubling things related to certain religions. So that Religious Moderation is very much needed for the Unity of the Republic of Indonesia. With those reasons, this article was written because there is a phenomenon in terms of children's character education in increasing tolerance. Religious Tolerance in Indonesia is needed to educate children to be more compassionate and have an attitude that respects each other both in the family environment and in the Indonesian community. There are several families in Indonesia who have different beliefs, and they can live in harmony without disputes. This intrigued the author to write this article, in the author's circle there is 1 family that can live harmoniously and harmoniously despite adhering to different beliefs, namely Hinduism and Islam. Children who grow and develop in the family seem very harmonious and can always appreciate others. This proves , the need for the character of Tolerance in the form to be able respect and love each other between people.

Abstract

Pendidikan Nasional menurut undang-undang terdapat beberapa faktor-faktor yang mendukung mengapa pendidikan karakter dibutuhkan dalam mengembangkan karakter bangsa yang bersumber dari kesadaran beragama. Pendidikan agama tentunya mengandung ajaran-ajaran yang baik dan tidak menjerumuskan umatnya. Panca Satya merupakan salah satu ajaran agama Hindu yang bertujuan untuk memerangi sifat tidak baik seperti berbohong melalui ucapan dan perbuatan. Dalam mengumpulkan data peneliti menggunakan beberapa teknik yang sesuai dalam penelitian kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain: teknik observasi non partisipan, teknik wawancara tak terstruktur dengan penentuan informan menggunakan teknik snowball serta menggunakan teknik studi kepustakaan. Dalam penerapan ajaran Panca Satya di SMA Kutapura guru menggunakan strategi pembelajaran kooperaktif tipe group isvetigation yang membawa dampak besar dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik seperti halnya terdapat perubahan sikap dari siswa itu sendiri dengan adanya sikap sopan santun, sikap kedisiplinan, memupuk sikap tanggung jawab, dan sikap kepedulian siswa.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to create a generation of intelligent and noble character, with the Covid-19 pandemic, character education is more emphasized on the role of visual teachers to carry out character education. The problems discussed in this research are: 1) what is the role of visual teachers in children's character education during the covid-19 pandemic, 2) obstacles faced by visual teachers in children's character education during the covid-19 pandemic, and 3) how are the efforts of visual teachers in in character education for children during the Covid-19 pandemic. Types of qualitative research with data collection methods used to obtain data in this study are direct non-participant observation, unstructured direct interviews, and documentation. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling, then the data obtained is processed through the steps of Data Reduction (data reduction), Data Display (data presentation), Conclusion (verification), from the analysis carried out in this study the results obtained: The role of visual teachers In character education for children during the Covid-19 pandemic, there are (1) the role of the visual teacher as an educator, (2) the role of the visual teacher as a role model, (3) the role of the visual teacher as a friend, and (4) the role of the visual teacher as a supervisor. The obstacles faced by visual teachers in children's character education during the Covid-19 pandemic were, (1) internal constraints, namely the character and innate nature of children, (2) external constraints, namely the lack of ability of visual teachers in managing character education and the influence of technological advances. Meanwhile, the efforts made by visual teachers in overcoming the obstacles encountered in children's character education during the Covid-19 pandemic were by giving more attention to children and controlling the use of technology by children. Abstract

Education has a very large role in the development and improvement of the quality of self and behavior of community and state life. Through the process of education the child will be able to develop all the potential that exists in him, both in the realm of knowledge, attitudes, behavior and skills. One sign that a person has learned is a change in behavior in him, changes in behavior that are knowledgeable (cognitive), skills (psychomotor) and related to values and attitudes (affective). Guidance from adults as an educator is indispensable by a child in shaping personality, emotional, attitude, behavior, and skill development in this case is often called andragogy education. Andragogy education is a way of shaping humans in shaping one's personality, or adult guidance in providing education to children to acquire a good personality. In Hinduism, forming a good personality has guidelines that must be owned by every child, namely the teachings of tri kaya Parisudha. Andragogy education is used in educational units both informal education and formal education, of course in this case through andragogical education combined with the concept of Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings will have an influence on children's behavior.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide knowledge to the community, especially the Hindu community regarding the teachings contained in the Upanishads, because in this era of globalization people tend to be more concerned with material so they forget to study religious teachings, even though in this day and age understanding of religious teachings is necessary to counteract bad things caused by the rapid advancement of technology. Instilling an attitude of love is very much needed nowadays because the phenomenon in the community often occurs in bad deeds such as rounding up, torture committed, on fellow humans and animals. In the Upanisad there are many teachings such as the teachings of Ethics, the Nature of Atman and Brahman as well as the teachings of Moksa which are very important to be used as guidelines for the Hindu religious community in daily life. Abstract

The writing of this paper aims to explain the importance of Upanisad teachings as reinforcement of sraddha (belief) of Hindus in facing the era of globalization. As for the background of this writing, because now we have entered the era of globalization, the impact of this era of globalization brings very significant changes in social life, both positive and negative changes. No exception Hindus are also exposed to and experience these changes as a result of the era of globalization. Today's development influences various aspects of the life of Hindus starting from culture, ethics, morals, social, etc. both positive and negative. The occurrence of changes in Hindu society, especially negative changes as a result of the development of the era can not be separated from the beginning of the weakening of Sraddha or the belief of Hindus namely Panca Sraddha which is the basis of religious beliefs of Hindus, Panca Sarddha is the five basic beliefs of Hinduism the existence of God, belief in the existence of Atman who supports every creature, belief in the existence of karmaphala or the law of cause and effect, belief in the existence of punarbawa or reincarnation and belief in the existence of moksa or the highest freedom of Atman's union with Brahman. Upanisad is one of the sacred Hindu literature which has an important role as a reinforcer of Hindu sraddha, especially in this era of globalization because the Uprising Scriptures contain the highest discourse about secrecy on humanity, the Upanishad books contain the essence of the Vedas and are the basis of spiritual truth for people who are looking for spiritual enlightenment. No exception the Panca Sraddha teachings are also explained in the Upanishads, the teachings in the Upanishads are very useful for Hindus in navigating life, especially in facing the era of globalization which is as a guide and reinforcer of sraddha Hindus in order to control themselves and not affected by the development of a negative era. So that we are able to control ourselves and follow the developments in a positive way that does not conflict with religious teachings, by realizing and strengthening Panca Sraddha's teachings in self will automatically shape the morals, ethics and behavior of the ummah to be good. keywords: Upanishad, Sraddha, Globalization Era.

Abstract

The development of technology is an essential phenomenon that has a significant impact on all dimensions of life. Technological developments are multi-interpretative. In a certain perspective, technology has been considered capable of giving meaning and benefits to human life. Seeing from the perspective and interpretation as well as the correlation of technology with human existence and its relationship with the objectives of the UU Sisdiknas No. 20 Tahun 2003, the positive impacts generated by technology are very numerous and important. When connected to the era of technology 4.0 and towards the era of society 5.0, there is a need for technological literacy so that can be useful among educators and students. The method in this paper is literature study. Literature studies are related to theoretical studies and other references related to values, culture, and norms that develop in the social situation. Learning technology was originally seen as equipment technology, which is related to the use of equipment, media and means to achieve educational goals. Learning technology is a combination of three streams of mutual interest, namely media in education, psychology of learning and systems approach in education. the role of technology in learning Hindu religious education can support learning outcomes. This is influenced by the method and selection of media that support the learning process. With various characteristics of children, the selection of media that is considered interesting and makes it easier for students to accept the lessons delivered, the teacher will be helped by the existence of this technology.
