<![CDATA[In the era of the rise of online games among underage children which can be freely accessed via mobile phones, and causing children's interest in learning to continue to decline over time. Apart from the fact that online games are increasingly mushrooming among children, the decline in children's interest in learning is also due to a decrease in the learning methods used which are also boring. this is also very visible among children who live in rural areas due to the lack of updating of parents and the existing education system in rural areas, which is still monotonous. This will become a very serious problem if it continues. This also happened to several children in sialang village. because of this the process of providing assistance is also carried out through field work practices or PKL II students of social welfare sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra by applying the discussion method in learning. This method has the aim of increasing children's interest in learning and training children to exchange ideas and learning processes as well as daily activities. Apart from that, a mini project was also carried out at the practicum this time, namely by making an intervention, specifically an intervention that aims to help several children in the unlucky village in solving the problems they are experiencing.]]>

<![CDATA[in writing The purpose of writing this article is to look at the Medan City government's efforts to deal with the need for Social Welfare Services (PPKS), especially Street Children based on Medan Mayor Regulation Number 6 of 2003 concerning the Prohibition of Begging and Begging in Medan City which is carried out by the Medan City Social Service in coordination with the Civil Service Police Unit. Praja (Satpol PP) of Medan City and in collaboration with the Medan City Police. This journal discusses the process of dealing with Homeless and Beggars through the Social Rehabilitation Program carried out by the Medan City Social Service. <![CDATA[SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung is a school that is under the auspices of the Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom and is a partner in this community service program. The problem faced by partners is the limited level of knowledge and skills of schools in using information and communication technology (ICT) which causes a lack of innovation implemented in school, especially in the financial function. The solution offered in the program is to provide training and assistance in terms of digitalization school financial services based on cashless payment to support innovation in school financial services. The results of participant feedback have shown that the program can positively provide digital literacy education related to the recent financial technology. Therefore, this program contributes to strengthening and improving the ability to manage school financial services. In addition, this community service activity also produces an appropriate technology in the form of a cashless payment-based school finance application.]]>

<![CDATA[A child needs a parent figure in the stage of growth and development. Parents play an important role in caring for and educating children so that later the child can grow into someone who can make their parents proud. But what if a child doesn't have parental figures in his life? What will be the future for the child if the parents don't want to guide their child, or if the parents are gone, can the child still enjoy his future? Orphanage is a solution to this problem. Orphanage is a place to live for children who are less fortunate due to being abandoned by their parents for various reasons and backgrounds. Every child who is in an orphanage is given services according to what they should get in the family. The needs of food, boards, and clothing, all as much as possible is provided according to needs. Different backgrounds also become a challenge for caregivers. Understanding each character and potential of each child needs to be done, so that children can develop according to their abilities and talents. <![CDATA[Prevention of stunting in infants and toddlers can be done starting during pregnancy. Nutritional intake in pregnant women can be done by consuming quality food. In an effort to fulfill nutrition for pregnant women and children by consuming nutritious snacks, this service conducted training on making cassava leaf tempeh to the community in the Bukit Surungan village, West Padang Panjang, Padang Panjang City in July 2022. The training activity began with an explanation about the content of cassava leaf tempeh to the trainees and a demonstration of how to make cassava leaves into tempeh with the addition of tempeh yeast. The finished cassava leaf tempeh is fried with tempeh flour and eaten with the trainees. The trainees said that tempeh was delicious and almost the same as tempeh in general. This tempe-making training has been successfully implemented and the community is interested in eating the fried tempeh as a nutritious snackservice activity that has been carried out has achieved its goal of preventing stunting in the city of Padang Panjang.]]>

<![CDATA[Communication is an interpersonal process that involves verbal and non-verbal changes. Communication refers not only to the content but also to the feelings and emotions in which the individual conveys the relationship, because of that communication must be done as selectively as possible, the elderly for example, need to require special attention from everyone. Seniors in the family play the role of parents, as well as grandparents. Status and other related roles of individuals in a family will change through various ways that take place in the family life cycle. Elderly is a vulnerable age group and needs special attention from the family. Elderly social welfare is an action as an effort to meet the needs of the community, especially the elderly who cannot carry out their social functions, namely by providing assistance and support services. As a result of physical, psychological, emotional and social changes, the elderly demand good communication patterns. This study uses the evaluation method, the results of the study indicate that the importance of good family communication for the social welfare of the elderly. The results of this study can be used as additional knowledge, in providing counseling to families about the importance of implementing good communication in the elderly, and can provide treatment for family problems in elderly care.]]>

Karangtaruna village by KKNT-PPM Unwira 2022 students is a community service that takes a special role in empowering village youth. <![CDATA[Stunting is one of the health problems that Indonesia is still facing. Stunting is a growth and development disorder that causes a child to have a short or distant stature from the average child of his age. Stunting begins to occur when the fetus is still in the womb caused by the mother's food intake during pregnancy that is less nutritious. As a result, the nutrition obtained by the child in the womb is not sufficient. Stunting in children can be caused by various factors, ranging from genetic factors, lack of nutritional intake during the womb and after birth, repeated infections, to the low level of parental knowledge about the normal growth and development of children. This study aims to see the level of knowledge of mothers in preventing stunting in the work area of the city of Padang Panjang. This type of research is an analytic survey with a research design using a cross sectional study. The results of the study that the mother's level of knowledge was high with a percentage of 66.7%. while stunting prevention is not good with a percentage of 56.7%. The results of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.602, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the mother's level of knowledge on the prevention of stunting in the Gunung Padang Panjang Public Health Center in 2022. This study is expected to provide information about the mother's level of knowledge in preventing stunting.]]>

<![CDATA[Community Service Activities by Students (PMM) of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang is a form of contribution in helping solve problems that exist in community life. The mechanism for this service is carried out by making proposals, submitting permits for service locations, preparing service, implementing service, evaluating and making reports. Learning assistance carried out by Students (PMM) Group 97 Wave 3 using a direct learning assistance model at Dharma Wanita PBB 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten. This service aims to help teachers at Dharma Wanita PBB 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten in the learning assistance process. The activities carried out by the 97 PMM UMM Group in learning assistance were learning calistung (reading, writing, calculating), making crafts, and holding coloring competitions. These activities were supported and given positive responses by the teachers at Dharma Wanita PBB 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten.The service activity ended with making window decorations for display in the children's class because the color of the old decorations had faded so they had to be replaced with new decorations. With the new decorations, it is hoped that the children of Dharma Wanita PBB 1 Sengkaling Kindergarten will be more cheerful and enthusiastic in learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Community participation in reducing the quantity or volume of waste as well as managing waste is one of the most important parts in tackling the waste problem, especially in big cities. Reduction or reduction in the amount and volume of waste is an effort made to minimize the presence of waste. The waste bank is a means for the community that is used to manage waste that has economic value. In the residential area of Villa Pertiwi Block P Rt.004 Rw.015, Sukamaju Village, Cilodong District, Depok. In the process of processing and storing waste bank customer data, they still use the manual method, namely by recording every transaction into a book, so that problems often arise such as damaged or lost data, data duplication, and report books that are left more and more and accumulate. Therefore, by implementing training and implementing and using a web-based waste bank application system, it can make it easier to process and store customer data in the operational activities of the waste bank. Customers can register as waste bank customers through the waste bank information system, making it easier to validate data and recap customer data collection, admins can print deposit data reports from customers' waste bank results]]>
