Abstract

In certain conditions, digital marketing is able to make it easy for businesses to monitor and provide all the needs and desires of potential customers. This means that in the digital marketing world, it discusses many things such as IT, social media, trends, netizens, business, advertising, and so on. Technological progress is a clear manifestation that consumer behavior has now shifted. The needs and desires that will be obtained are more practical and faster, as if it is becoming a trend in the society of “nowadays”. Society's need for information and the desire to be recognized as human beings are not ancient. Technological growth is increasing rapidly along with the availability of smartphones at affordable prices. Business opportunities in the virtual world described above should be explored and entered by various community businesses, even in small and micro scales. Including community businesses in Sukawarna Village which are engaged in small and micro medium enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to increase the insight and competence of micro and medium entrepreneurs in Sukawarna Village in order to increase their insight into digital marketing.

Abstract

People often have trouble recognizing a song especially, if the song is sung by a not original artist which is called cover song. Hence, an identification system might be used to help recognize a song or to detect copyright violation. In this study, we try to recognize a song and a cover song by using the fingerprint of the song represented by features extracted from MPEG-7. The fingerprint of the song is represented by Audio Signature Type. Moreover, the fingerprint of the cover song is represented by Audio Spectrum Flatness and Audio Spectrum Projection. Furthermore, we propose a sliding algorithm and k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) with Bhattacharyya distance for song recognition and cover song recognition. The results of this experiment show that the proposed fingerprint technique has an accuracy of 100% for song recognition and an accuracy of 85.3% for cover song recognition.

Abstract

Beef is kind of perishable food that easily to decay. Hence, a rapid system for beef quality assessment is needed to guarantee the quality of beef. In the last few years, electronic nose (e-nose) is developed for beef spoilage detection. In this paper, we discuss the challenges of e-nose application to beef quality assessment, especially in e-nose data processing. We also provide a summary of our previous studies that explains several methods to deal with gas sensor noise, sensor array optimization problem, beef quality classification, and prediction of the microbial population in beef sample. This paper might be useful for researchers and practitioners to understand the challenges and methods of e-nose data processing for beef quality assessment.

Abstract

Hanya 10% dari total anggota Paguyuban Usaha Kecil Menengah Regional Kabupaten Bandung (PPKM) yang sudah menggunakan website dalam promosi penjualan produk yang diproduksi. Sedangkan sisanya 90% masih menggunakan media konvensional untuk mempromosikan produknya, seperti penggunaan brosur dan pameran. Adapun data keanggotaannya juga masih dikelola dan disimpan hanya menggunakan software aplikasi microsoft excel, sehingga data anggota tersebut belum berelasi satu sama lain, tidak up to date dan berpotensi mengakibatkan inkonsistensi dan duplikasi. Dengan dibangunnya website profil Organisasi Komunitas UMKM berbasis Content Management System yang menampilkan informasi profil produk dan anggota, serta diadakannya pelatihan pengelolaan konten informasi tersebut menjadi solusi yang tepat dalam mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan data anggota dan aktivitas promosi produk serta juga dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kewirausahaan melalui website, sehingga mereka tidak perlu bergantung hanya pada kegiatan jual beli secara tatap muka langsung (offline). Adapun pembangunan web tersebut dilaksanakan melalui Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Terapan (FIT) beserta Fakultas Komunikasi dan Bisnis (FKB) Universitas Telkom. Dengan disediakan website ini, diharapkan pengelolaan data anggota menjadi tersentralisasi dan lebih berkualitas serta kegiatan promosi produk unggulan di Kabupaten Bandung dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas lagi.Kata Kunci: digital branding; manajemen produk; produk unggulan. Increasing the Potential of Superior Products in Bandung Regency through Product Management and Digital Branding                                           ABSTRACT All members of Bandung Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Association (PPKM), only 10% have a website to improve the products produced. The rest (90%) still uses conventional media such as brochures and exhibitions in the competition for their products. Coverage data is still managed using Microsoft Excel so that the data is not related, still requires inconsistencies and duplication, also not up to date. Development of a MSME Community Organization profile website based on a Content Management System that provides product profiles and member profiles, as well as content training that is appropriate to overcome difficulties in managing member data and product promotion and can increase entrepreneurial skills through the website. The web development is carried out through Community Service Activities conducted by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT) and the Faculty of Communication and Business (FKB) Telkom University. With this website, it is hoped that promotional products can buy a wider market and data management for members is centralized and of better quality.Keyword: digital branding; product management; featured product.

Abstract

Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Perikanan (Dispakan) adalah salah satu lembaga teknis daerah di Kabupaten Bandung. Tugas utama Dispakan adalah menjadi unit pelaksana tugas pemerintah daerah dalam memastikan program-program ketahanan pangan dan perikanan bisa berjalan di Kabupaten Bandung. Saat ini terdapat delapan puluh empat mitra binaan yang tergabung dalam paguyuban usaha kecil menengah yang memproduksi olahan pangan. Jumlah tersebut adalah jumlah mitra yang sudah terdata dan masih mungkin akan bertambah. Terdapat enam puluh empat produk hasil diversifikasi usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) sebagai upaya menciptakan keanekaragaman pangan agar dapat berpotensi menjadi produk unggulan Kabupaten Bandung. Namun, sebagian besar mitra binaan masih menggunakan media konvensional seperti pameran dan brosur untuk promosi produk. Selain itu, saat ini, pendataan anggota mitra binaan masih dilakukan menggunakan file MS Excel sehingga memiliki kelemahan seperti kerentanan duplikasi, konsistensi, dan kesulitan berbagi data. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membangun content management system sebagai media promosi sekaligus pendataan mitra binaan dan produk-produknya. Kegiatan terbagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, pembangunan aplikasi, dan sosialisasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kepuasan masyarakat sasar terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan.Kata Kunci: content management system; Dispakan; promosi produk, UKM Development of Content Management System for Product Branding Media Bandung Regency Regional Small and Medium Enterprises AssociationABSTRACTThe Department of Food and Fisheries (Dispakan) is one of the regional technical institutions in Bandung. The main task of the Dispakan is to become the representation unit of the local government in ensuring that food and fisheries security programs in Bandung Area. At present, there are eighty-four fostered partners who are members of the small and medium business community that produces foods. This number is the number of partners that have been recorded and may still increase. There are sixty four products from the diversification of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as an effort to create food diversity so that it can potentially become a superior product in Bandung. However, most of the fostered partners still use conventional media such as exhibitions and brochures for product promotion. In addition, at present, the data collection of members of the fostered partners is still done using MS Excel files so that it has weaknesses such as duplication, consistency, and difficulty sharing data. Based on the existing problems, this community service activity aims to build a content management system as a media campaign as well as data collection of fostered partners and their products. The activities are divided into three stages, namely data collection, application development, and workshop. Abstract

The selection of the right tourist attractions is always done by tourists before visiting tourist attractions. Tourists have different criteria in choosing the tourist attractions they want to visit. There are many good tourist attractions on the island of Lombok, Indonesia, but of the many tourist attractions, tourists need recommendations for the best tourist attractions to visit. Decision-making methods can be used to create a ranking system. Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) is a decision-making method in Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems by combining qualitative and quantitative factors in complex problems. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is a decision-making method to generate a rating preference value. The purpose of this paper is to utilize a combination of AHP-SAW to decide the weight of the criteria and the significance of alternative tourist attractions. The results of the calculation of the AHP-SAW combination resulted in the ranking of the best tourist attractions. This study uses five alternative tourist attractions on the island of Lombok, namely Pink Beach (A1), Senggigi Beach (A2), Tanjung Aan Beach (A3), Marese Hill (A4), and Mayura Park (A5) taken fro m several trusted sites. In addition, the five criteria used are visitor reviews, visitor ratings, ticket prices, the distance of tourist attractions fro m the airport, and visiting time. The results showed that the AHP-SAW combination resulted in a consistent ratio value of 0.0371 so that the criterion-weighted data could be used as a basis for calculating the preference value and ranking of alternative tourist attractions. The best alternative for tourist attractions is Tanjung Aan Beach (A3) with a preference value of 0.9554.

Abstract

SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung is a school that is under the auspices of the Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom and is a partner in this community service program. The problem faced by partners is the limited level of knowledge and skills of schools in using information and communication technology (ICT) which causes a lack of innovation implemented in school, especially in the financial function. The solution offered in the program is to provide training and assistance in terms of digitalization school financial services based on cashless payment to support innovation in school financial services. The results of participant feedback have shown that the program can positively provide digital literacy education related to the recent financial technology. Therefore, this program contributes to strengthening and improving the ability to manage school financial services. In addition, this community service activity also produces an appropriate technology in the form of a cashless payment-based school finance application.

Abstract

Khususnya di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian negara. Akan tetapi, para petani sering menghadapi berbagai kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas hasil pertanian mereka. Salah satu aspek yang mempengaruhi kemampuan petani untuk memperoleh informasi dan teknologi pertanian adalah keterbatasan akses terhadap layanan penyuluhan pertanian. Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Limbangan merupakan organisasi yang bertanggung jawab dalam membantu petani di daerah tersebut melalui penyuluhan pertanian. Saat ini, BPP Limbangan memberikan informasi kepada petani menggunakan metode tradisional seperti ceramah dan pamflet. Namun, pendekatan ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal orisinalitas informasi, keterlibatan, dan jangkauan. Dengan adanya konten multimedia penyuluhan pertanian, petani di wilayah BPP Limbangan akan memiliki akses yang lebih mudah dan cepat terhadap pengetahuan dan teknologi pertanian. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen dan pengetahuan petani, serta berdampak positif pada hasil dan kualitas produk pertanian yang mereka hasilkan.

Abstract

Machine learning (ML) development starting in the 1950s, has shown significant progress. Various fields have used machine learning as an information system element that is useful in assisting data processing, personalization, prediction, and performing anomaly detection of occurring transactions. Along with developments, cloud-based machine learning technology is becoming the choice for ease of implementation and connectivity with various other technology platforms. This paper proposes a machine learning architecture as a service (MLaaS) implemented in a case study of a gender prediction model based on height and weight. The results show that the MLaaS architecture is straightforward to implement and fits the needs of various access environments and the ease of updating models centrally. Our gender prediction model achieved 91.78% in the precision, recall, and F1-score, 91.8% in specificity and NPV, and 91.79% in accuracy.

Abstract

The poverty rate is an important measure of any country because it indicates how well the economy develops and how well the economic prosperity distributes among citizens. The Central Statistics Agency, or BPS, measures the poverty rates in Indonesia using the concept of the ability to meet demands (basic needs approach). Using this approach, spending becomes a measure of poverty, defined as an economic incapacity to satisfy food and non-food requirements. Thus, the poor are individuals whose monthly per capita spending is less than the poverty threshold. In this study, the machine learning method using Naive Bayes with similarity-based feature selection and e-commerce data has been proposed to predict the poverty level in Indonesia. We proposed the method to be used as a complement to the results of the costly surveys and censuses conducted by BPS. Our experiments show that the classifier shows little relevance between the predicted and the original values or actual poverty prediction based on BPS data. A limited number of features does not necessarily result in poor accuracy, however great accuracy is not always achieved if a lot of features are being used.
