Abstract

The study is aims to assess the division of roles between international and government institutions in promoting sustainable development in the region. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, including a survey of experts, a review of existing literature, and an analysis of case studies, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of environmental governance in African countries. The findings of the study suggest that the division of roles between international and government institutions is a complex and dynamic process that is shaped by a variety of factors, including the level of economic development, the political context, and the capacities of different actors. The current state of environmental governance in African countries is influenced by a range of challenges, including limited resources, weak institutions, and a lack of political will to prioritize environmental protection. However, the study also identifies a number of opportunities for improving environmental governance in the region. These include greater collaboration between international and government institutions, the development of more effective policies and initiatives, and increased investment in environmental protection and sustainable development. Overall, the research highlights the importance of taking a comprehensive and integrated approach to environmental governance in African countries, and underscores the need for continued efforts to balance economic growth and environmental protection in the region. The study provides valuable insights for policy makers, international institutions, and government institutions, and will inform future efforts to promote sustainable development in Africa.

Abstract

Human Resource Development (HRD) is essential in encouraging originality among workers. Human resource development (HRD) efforts can help businesses create a workplace that values and rewards employees' unique contributions by instituting procedures for skill development, encouraging teamwork, and providing appropriate recognition and compensation. In addition, HRD can equip workers with the means they need to develop and implement their own innovative ideas. However, there are difficulties that must be surmounted before HRD can be implemented successfully and its impact on employees' inventiveness fully realized. Employees' unwillingness to adapt to new ways of doing things, scarce funds, and the challenge of gauging ROI all rank high on the list of barriers to effective human resource development. Despite these obstacles, a more innovative and productive workforce is possible through the deliberate and intentional application of HRD, which benefits the firm as a whole.

Abstract

This research examines the link between economic development and ecological sustainability, paying special attention to the detrimental effects that rapid economic expansion could have on the natural world. We used descriptive statistics, trend analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, sensitivity analysis, and robustness checks on cross-sectional data from a selection of countries to investigate the moderating role of environmental protection expenditure on the relationship between GDP per capita and carbon emissions per capita. We find that spending on environmental safeguards moderates the correlation between GDP per individual and carbon emissions. These results stress the significance of supporting environmentally sustainable development practices and increasing spending on environmental protection, especially in countries experiencing rapid economic expansion. For those working to support sustainable development and lessen the environmental costs of economic growth, our research offers crucial new information.
