Abstract

This study aims to model and simulate shoe laundry queues using computer simulation methods. Shoe laundry queue is a complex process and takes a long time to complete the washing and drying process. In this study, Anylogic simulation software was used to model and simulate shoe laundry queues using the Single Channel – Multi Phase method. There are several steps in the process of modeling and simulating shoe laundry queues. The first step is the collection of data and information regarding the queuing process, such as the number of shoes entered, the washing process time, and the drying process time, finishing process time and packing process time. The second step is to build a mathematical model that describes the queuing process. After building a mathematical model, the next step is to implement the model into Anylogic simulation software. Then data is calculated using Pom qm software to get the average number of customers and time spent in the system or queue. The simulation was performed several times to get more accurate results and to see the effect of variable changes in the queuing process. The results of this study show that by using computer simulations, optimization of the shoe laundry queue process can be carried out. By varying the washing process time, the optimal combination can be found to minimize queue time and maximize process throughput. Thus, modeling and simulating shoe laundry queues can help improve process efficiency and reduce operational costs. Keywords: queue, laundry, modeling, simulation, clean shoes

Abstract

In Indonesia, almost every place has a tempe factory with various types of preparations. The large number of tempe industries in Indonesia causes an abundance of tempe processing industrial waste. The by-product of the tempeh-making process is soybean husk wasteh e. As is well known, soybean bran waste has low economic value so it needs to be innovated and further research carried out in order to produce a new product in the form of biscuits, easy to manufacture and liked by the wider community, namely limquade biscuits. Processing of biscuits made from waste soybean husk waste was carried out experimentally, namely drying the soybean epidermis which was still wet, smoothing the dry soybean epidermis, then mixing the butter with sugar and adding wheat flour, eggs, vanilla, and soybean epidermis flour so that it became dough. After that the dough is printed and in the oven for 10 minutes to produce sweet soy sauce. The soybean husk waste biscuits formed from the experimental results were carried out, then analyzed to test the benefits and feasibility. The benefits derived from biscuits from soybean husk waste are very beneficial for lowering blood pressure, out of 25 people suffering from hypertension, 20 people managed to reduce or stabilize blood pressure. Based on the feasibility test of waste soybean husk waste biscuits which were reviewed from the taste and aroma of 25 people suffering from hypertension, more than 50% of people stated that they were feasible to produce. hypertension. Abstract

The use of chemical fertilizers is no stranger to Indonesian farmers. Directly, chemical fertilizers have polluted the environment. Initially, chemical fertilizers were able to increase crop yields but over time yields declined and soil conditions became more critical. Chemical fertilizers can kill organisms in the soil. This is because chemical fertilizers contain compounds such as methane and ammonia which pollute the environment. Thus, innovation is needed by utilizing leri water, coconut water and urine as liquid organic fertilizer. The aim of this research is to find out the process of making and the feasibility of the material into liquid organic fertilizer. Based on the results obtained from this experiment, leri water, coconut water and urine can be processed into liquid fertilizer by mixing 2.5 liters of urine, 100 milliliters of EM-4, 0.5 liters of water, 2 liters of leri water, 1 liter of water coconut, and 100 grams of brown sugar then ferment it for 14 days. This process aims to remove the odor from the urine. Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Alerine is ready to be applied to chili and rice plants, showing an increase in growth compared to liquid fertilizers on the market. Production costs of only IDR 3,500 can produce 6 liters of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Alerine. Tests on soil and worms that were carried out for 1 week showed that the soil that was given chemical fertilizers tended to be harder. In addition, the number of worms in it decreased compared to the soil that was given Alerine Liquid Organic Fertilizer. This is because the content of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Alerine is Nitrogen, Potassium, Activated Carbon, growth regulators, and other complex compounds. Suggestions for further research should use more drops to ferment fertilizer. The author hopes that farmers will make Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Alerine which is environmentally friendly as a substitute for chemical fertilizers. Abstract

The increasing use of styrofoam can certainly cause damage to the environment. From these problems it can be concluded that the use of styrofoam can be replaced with biofoam which is far more easily degraded and environmentally friendly. Straw and bagasse wastes have the potential to become biofoam raw materials because these two materials contain cellulose which is easily degraded. The method used in the manufacture of biofoam is mixing between mashed bagasse, straw, and tapioca flour. Then do the addition of PVA (Polyvynil Alcohol) as a waterproof agent. After everything is homogeneous, molding and heating are carried out at 1000 C for 60 minutes to remove the moisture content. The biofoam that is formed even though PVA has been added still has a high water absorption rate. This is because biofoam which has a starch base material is generally easy to interact with water so that the water content contained in biofoam is higher than commercial biofoam. However, biofoam can be more easily degraded due to the presence of water attached to or absorbed in the sample, making it easier for microorganisms to decompose. The use of styrofoam which causes damage to the environment is one of the reasons for replacing styrofoam with environmentally friendly materials, namely biofoam with the main ingredients being straw waste, bagasse, and added PVA using the mixing and molding method. Biofoam will replace the easy use of Styrofoam. Keywords : biofoam, straw, bagasse

Abstract

Organization is a form of implementing the role of students in the campus world, which is used as a means of self-development for students to improve reasoning and knowledge. Students who organize use various ways to overcome their problems, and are usually good at managing stress. But not all students can overcome the stress experienced while participating in organizations and lectures. Students who tend to experience stress are caused by several factors, namely conflict between roles which causes them to be unable to divide their time between lectures, assignments, and organizations that affect academic grades. The purpose of this research is to find out the perceptions of PPNS students regarding the influence of organizational participation on the lecturing activity of semester 4 PPNS students. The design of this research is a qualitative research using a questionnaire as research material. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. From our research analysis, it was concluded that the majority of PPNS students joined the organization very well without disturbing their activeness in carrying out lectures on campus, and by participating in PPNS student organizations they had a positive impact in supporting life. However, the majority of PPNS students feel that they are behind in class due to organizational activities that finish at night after class, so students do not have time to study further material. Beside that, the majority of students feel sleep deprived, which is caused by many lecture assignments and organizational activities that finish late at night.
