Abstract

Abstract: Pure experimental research in the UM Metro Physics Education study program is very minimal, therefore the role of the Physics Education Laboratory is needed in helping students or lecturers.The goal of this study to exsplore the role and constraints of the Laboratory of Physics Education of Muhammadiyah University of Metro for conducting research. This is a qualitative descriptive research, using interview, observation and questionnaire method. The sources of data are laboratory users, laboratory managers, and laboratory assistants. The analysis of data using qualitative by doing source triangulation and method triangulation. The result found that (1) Laboratory of Physic Education was 78% with good role playing categorie, its role is to provide laboratory facilities, measuring instruments and tools and materials.(2) Constraints faced are in physical facilities 23.68% with little constraint. The recomendation of this reseach,(1) Laboratory of Physic Education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro to improve laboratory facilities even better. (2) Researchers can use Laboratory of Physic Education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro to conduct research. (3) Schools can make laboratory of physics education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro as models of research laboratories in schools.Keywords: The role, physics education laboratory

Abstract

Abstract: The result of prasurvey that has been done on the UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Metro obtained a good learning conditions. However, students learning activities are still classified as low. Therefore, there needs to be an improvement in the learning process by using the Children Learning In Science learning model based on Lesson Study to enhance the learning activities of students. Several stages of CLIS learning model include orientation, rendering the notion, the idea of reorganization, implementation of the idea, and the establishment of the idea. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which cycle with the stage plan (planning), do (execution) and see (reflection). The subjects of this study were students of UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Metro class VIII.E which amounted to 27 students. Data collection instruments used were observation sheet of students learning activities and field note. The results showed that the implementation of the Chikdren Learning In Science (CLIS) model based on Lesson Study was able to improve the learning activities of students with indicators of achievement of learning activities including paying attention to the explanation or affirmation of the material by the teacher, preparing tools, arranging tools, doing group assignments, discussing with group, answer, respond or ask questions and work on questions. The percentage of increased learning activities in cycle 1 was 60.98% in cycle 2 of 83.49%. Abstract

ABSTRACT: The lack of student learning activities has an effect on the low learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of sharing task and jumping task to learning result and advantages and disadvantages of sharing task and jumping task. The sample in this study X IPA.4 experimental class and X IPA.1 control class. Quasi experimental research method with posttest-only control design. Analysis of quantitative data using two difference test of average at 5% significance level obtained tcount (1,6999)> ttabel (1,682). The use of sharing task and jumping task has an effect on student learning outcomes. It can be suggested for teachers to apply the task sharing strategy and jumping task to learning activitiesKeywords: Sharing Task and Jumping Task, Lesson Study, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the presurvey in class X MIA 2 of SMAN 1 Trimurjo, that there are 71% of students with the ability to understand the concept are in low and very low criteria. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the learning process by using the ARIAS learning model. This ARIAS learning model includes the stages of Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assassment and Satisfaction. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which cycles with the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were students of class X MIA 2 of SMAN 1 Trimurjo with a total of 35 students. Data collection instruments use observation sheets and test questions. The results showed that, the application of the ARIAS learning model was able to improve the achievement of indicators of understanding concepts including translating, explaining, and expanding. the percentage of students who are in the criteria is very good and good reaching 83%, with an increase of 54% from the initial data of prasurveyKeywords: ARIAS learning model and conceptual understanding

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of undisciplined use of time can affect a person's success. A student is required to be disciplined, especially time discipline. The discipline of a student's time in school is usually marked and regulated by the school bell. The ringing of the bell in most schools still uses manual, so sometimes errors still occur, such as late ringing it. Then an automatic school bell was made that is integrated with electronic components to increase interest in helping students be disciplined. An automatic school bell is a tool that combines Arduino Uno with several other components so that the tool can sound automatically. The automatic school bell can also be used as a learning resource for physics. Developing this automatic school bell is a source of learning physics in electromagnetic wave material and digital technology and can help improve student discipline. This research method uses the (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Research data was obtained from the results of expert validation and user responses. The validation results by two experts on media aspects obtained an average percentage of 96.25% with the criteria of "Very Eligible," and the results of validation by three experts on material aspects obtained a percentage of 91.03% with the criteria of "Very Eligible." then the results of the practicality of using the school bell automatically get an average percentage of 91.2% with the "Very Practical" CriteriaKeywords: Development, automatic school bell, Physics Learning Resources
