Abstract

According to a study published in the International Journal of Cardiology titled "Heart failure across Asia: Same healthcare burden but differences in organization of care," the mortality rate due to heart failure in Indonesia is relatively high. The research findings indicate that approximately 5% of the total population in Indonesia suffers from heart failure. Heart disease is a condition that occurs when the heart experiences disruptions, either due to infections or congenital abnormalities. It is important to pay attention to heart disease in order to reduce the mortality rate. However, there are several inaccuracies in identifying heart disease, and it is necessary to perform calculations using a predictive approach utilizing data mining techniques. One of the data mining methods used is the Naïve Bayes (NB) algorithm, which serves as a classification technique. Additionally, before performing the classification, issues with the data content are often encountered, such as the presence of missing values. This problem can interfere with the classification process; therefore, a special technique called pre-processing is needed to remove missing values. By employing this technique, it can support obtaining accurate prediction results. Furthermore, to support the classification, this study applies feature selection using the Backward Elimination (BE) method to enhance accuracy. In this study, through the implementation of data pre-processing techniques and feature selection, the accuracy rate was successfully improved to 98.31%.

Abstract

The method used in this research is classroom action research design. The primary objectives of this research are to describe the teaching and learning process on paragraph writing through peer-assessment, to establish the amount of influence over the improvement of students ability in paragraph writing. The instruments employed to gain the data are through paragraph writing tests and observation. The tests are given before and after giving the treatment of peer assessment to appraise their own performance; furthermore, the observation is conducted to observe the teaching and learning writing process in the classroom using continuous assessment. The subjects of the research are the students of English Department who are at the fourth semester and join the subject of Writing III at Cirebon STIBA INVADA.The results of the students’ paragraph writing are then analyzed on the basis of the paragraph elements and the scoring procedure according to analytic scale for rating composition proposed by Brown and Bailey. The data are analyzed qualitatively through identification and classification; additionally, they are interpreted using comparative analysis. The results of the research is that the students ability increase substantially after participating in peer assessment. The average score for all paragraph elements is improving; the average score in pretest is 36.41, meanwhile the employing of peer assessment has given rise to the score in post test by 64.35; on the whole, the students’ ability on paragraph writing increases by 43.42%. Thus the evidence seems to be strong that peer assessment can do significantly for students’ achievement in writing.

Data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests, linearity tests, coefficient of determination analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was obtained that the calculated F value was 89.702 with a significance value of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05). Thus it can be concluded that work discipline and work facilities on employee work productivity. Abstract

Feed is a very important factor in the world of animal husbandry. Subang Regency is one of the beef cattle breeding centers in West Java and even in Indonesia and occupies the top 5 beef cattle populations in Indonesia. In Subang Regency, 1,500 families depend on beef cattle and other livestock businesses for their income, with an average of 3 to 4 livestock per family. but breeders in Subang Regency only focus on conventional livestock production processes and have not touched modern livestock. so that the level of welfare of farmers in Subang Regency is still not optimal. The biggest cost for livestock in Subang Regency is still the high price of concentrate and forage feed. This research aims to increase the knowledge of beef cattle breeders through counseling and coaching regarding the management of beef cattle in terms of improving the quality of feed so that it has added value. The research was carried out in Cibogo District, Subang Regency from July to November 2022 using the focus group discussion, training and monev methods. The results of this study are that the feed problem at the smallholder farmer level is the poor quality of the feed due to the lack of knowledge of breeders on how to process and store feed. Processing and storage are applied at the farmer level, namely storing forage fodder using the silage method and increasing knowledge of feed management. Breeders who are members of a group of beef cattle and are able to develop institutional management with standards for the production and management of feed in the group. There is a positive and significant influence between the provision of assistance in making feed on increasing the welfare of farmers.
