Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share danketerampilan metakognitif siswa. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 3 SMAN Ploso semester 2 tahun ajaran 2015-2016 sebanyak 32 siswa. Desain penelitianyang digunakan adalah One-Shot Case Study. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalahmetode observasi berupa lembar keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share, metode tes berupa soal keterampilan metakognitif dan metode angket berupa angket inventori metakognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terlatih dengan kriteria sangat baik dengan rata-rata nilai pada fase 1 sampai fase 6 berturut-turut sebesar 3,58; 3,64; 3,68; 3,55; 3,44; dan 3,74. Hasil tes berbasis keterampilan metakognitif selama tiga kali pertemuan berturut-turut pada keterampilan merencanakan (Planning Skill) sebesar 3,04; 3,35; dan 3,45, memantau (Monitoring Skill)sebesar 3,24; 3,43; dan 3,52, dan mengevaluasi (Evaluating Skill) sebesar 3,01; 3,31; dan 3,42. Hasil tersebut didukung oleh hasil inventori metakognitif yang diberikan selama tiga kali berturut-turut pada Planning Skill sebesar 3,23; 3,28; dan 3,34, Monitoring Skill sebesar 3,25; 3,31; dan 3,37, dan Evaluating Skill sebesar 3,08; 3,26; dan 3,31. Secara keseluruhan keterampian metakognitif siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Metakognitif, Think Pair Share, Redoks The aim of this research is to know feasibility of cooperative learning models type Think Pair Share and the metacognitive skills. The subject of this research were 32students of X MIA 3 SMAN Ploso in the 2nd semester in academic year 2015-2016. The research design used in this research is One-Shot Case Study. The study lasted for three meeting. The research design used in this research is One-Shot Case Study. Method of data collection used in this study is observation method such as sheet of feasibility of cooperative learning models type Think Pair Share, test method such as metacognitive skill test and questionnare method such as metacognitive awareness inventory questionnaire. The result of this research showed that learning models is trained very well with the averagevalue of phase 1 to phase 6 is 3,58; 3,64; 3,68; 3,55; 3,44; and 3,74. The result of metacognitive skill students based on metacognitive test for three times at Planning Skill 3,04; 3,35; 3,45, Monitoring Skill is 3,24; 3,43; and 3,52, and Evaluating Skill is 3,01; 3,31; and 3,42. This results are supported by the result of inventory metacognitive given for three timesatPlanning Skill is 3,23; 3,28; and 3,34, Monitoring Skill is 3,25; 3,31; and 3,37, and Evaluating Skill is 3,08; 3,26; and 3,31. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the feasibility of student worksheet with Problem Based Learning oriented to train creative thinking skills, determine student responses and the worksheet role in training student creative thinking skills such as Fluency, Flexibility, Originality in the chemical equilibrium matter. The object of this reasearch is student worksheet oriented Problem Based Learning to train creative thinking skills in chemical equilibrium matter. Collecting data method used questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire method consists review sheets, feasibility sheet, and the student questionnaire responses sheet and the test method used to determine the ability of creative thinking of students through worksheets developed. This researches conducted according to the 4D development procedure. Feasibility validation results were analyzed by quantitative descriptive method, based on a Likert scale. Analysis of student responses using a Gutman Scale and creative thinking skill analyzed by descriptive methode. The experiment result shown that the Chemistry worksheet oriented Problem Based Learning in the chemical equilibrium materials are feasible with the 1st and 2nd worksheet validation result of content, presentation, graphics and linguistic criteria are 91,7%; 88,3%; 91,7% and 79,2%. The students responses to the 1st and 2nd worksheet based on content, presentation, graphics and linguistic criteria are 95,5%; 93,3%; 96,6%; 100% and at 2nd worksheet are 95,5%; 93,3%; 100%; 100%. Developed student worksheet can train students creative thinking skills, it shown by student answer which already reflected the creative thinking activity such as fluency (creative thinking level 1), originality or flexibility (creative thinking level 2), originality or fluency (creative thinking level 3) and, originality and flexibility (creative thinking level 4) in the 1st and 2nd worksheet. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan lembar kegiatan siswa praktikum kimia sederhana berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk kelas XI yang dilihat dari kevalidan melalui hasil validasi, kepraktisan melalui melalui respon siswa terhadap LKS yang didukung oleh hasil observasi aktivitas siswa, dan keefektifan melalui hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang dibatasi sampai tahap uji coba terbatas. Uji coba dilakukan pada 12 siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 17 Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar angket respon, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar tes hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektivan LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS yang dikembangkan valid ditinjau dari kriteria isi, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafikan memperoleh persentase berturut-turut sebesar 81,67%, 84,17%, 84,45% dan 84,34%. Efektif ditinjau dari respon siswa terhadap masing-masing kriteria yaitu kriteria isi sebesar 93,05%, kriteria bahasa 97,92%, kriteria sajian 91,67%, kriteria kegrafikan sebesar 95,84% yang didukung hasil observasi selama tahap uji coba LKS dengan persentase sebesar 98,29%. Keefektifan yang ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa dengan ketuntasan rata-rata sebesar 91,67%. Kata Kunci:Lembar kegiatan siswa, praktikum kimia sederhana, inkuiri terbimbing. The study is aimed to know the feasibility of worksheetsimple chemisty lab oriented by guide inquiry for XI grade seen of validity by validation result, practically by students’ responses to the worksheet that developed and supported by the observation of student activity, and effectiveness by student learning outcomes. This study is development research that used Research and Development (R&D) design that limited to product trial step. Trials conducted to 12 students in grade XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 17 Surabaya.The reseacrh instruments used include sheets of examine, validation sheet, questionnaire responses of students, observation of student activity, student achievement test. The data that result from the study are analyzed by descriptive quantitative to know the worksheet validity, practically,effectiveness. This study result is showed that the worksheet is valid seen of criteria content, language, presentation and graph in a series are 81,67%, 84,17%, 84,45% and 84,34%. Effective from the Results of student responses for each criteria, they are content 93,05%, language 97,92%, presentation 91,67% and graph 95,84% is supported by the observation of student activity showed with persentase 98,29%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mereduksi beban miskonsepsi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan imajinasi rendah menggunakan strategi conceptualchange dengan analogi. Jenis penelitian ini pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian onegrouppretest-posttestdesign. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa yang memiliki kemampuan imajinasi rendah sebanyak 17 siswa dari siswa Kelas X MIA SMAN 17 Surabaya. Penentuan status konsepsi siswa dengan menggunakan Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Pembelajaran remedial dilakukan dalam 3 kali pertemuan. Sebelum pembelajaran remedial, siswa di uji konsepsi awal untuk mengetahui profil konsepsi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji konsepsi 1 diperoleh persentase tahu konsep (TK), tidak tahu konsep (TTK), dan miskonsepsi (MK) berturut-turut sebesar 39%, 9%, dan 53%.Uji konsepsi 2 dilakukan setelah pembelajaran remedial untuk mengetahui konsepsi akhir siswa. Pada uji konsepsi 2 persentase tahu konsep (TK), tidak tahu konsep (TTK), miskonsepsi (MK) berturut-turut sebesar 69%, 8%, dan 23%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji konsepsi 1 dan 2 diketahui persentase pergeseran miskonsepsi siswa menjadi tahu konsep sebesar 71%. The type of this study was preexperiment research and design reasearchwas “One Group Pretest-Postetst Design.” The subjects were students which have imagination ability low. Determination of students misconceptions used Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Before the remedial learning, students in the initial conception test to determine student’s conceptions profile. Based on test results obtained by percetage of conception 1 TK, TTK, and MK respectively for 39%, 9%, and 53%.Conception test 2 performed after conception remedial learning to know the students finalconception. In the conception of 2 percentage TK, TTK, and MK respectively 69%, 8%, and 23%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan permainan Yube Chemist sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Periodik Unsur untuk Siswa Kelas X SMA berdasarkan kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan permainan. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) mengumpulkan informasi, (3) desain permainan, (4) validasi permainan, (5) revisi permainan, dan (6) uji coba permainan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar telaah permainan, validasi permainan, observasi aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, danrespon siswa. Permainan ini ditelaah dan divalidasi oleh 2 dosen kimia dan 1 guru kimia. Permainan diuji cobakan pada 10 siswa kelas X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifan permainan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan Yube Chemist layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Periodik Unsur untuk Siswa Kelas X SMA. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari (1) kevalidan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 81,27% berdasarkan validitas isi dan validitas konstruk, (2) kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 99% berdasarkan angket respon siswa, dan (3) keefektifan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 93,39% berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dan 100% berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci:Permainan Yube Chemist, Media Pembelajaran, Sistem Periodik Unsur The purpose of this study aims to determine the feasibility of Yube Chemist game as instructional media on Periodic Table for X grade of Senior High School based on criteria of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the game. This study used Research and Development (R & D) design wich consists of 6 steps as follows: (1) the potentials and problems, (2) information collecting, (3) designing the game, (4) validation of game, (5) revision of game, and (6) try-out game. The research instrument used were sheets of games examination, games validation sheet, observation sheet of student activity, result of students’ achievement, and questionnaires for students’ responses. This game was examined and validated by two lecturers of chemistry and one chemistry teacher. The game was tried out on 10 students of class X science 4 in SHS 4 Sidoarjo to know practically and effectiveness of the game. The results showed that the Yube Chemist game as a instructional medium of Periodic Table for X grade of Senior High School is feasible. The result showed that (1) for validity reached 81.27% based on content validity and construct validity; (2) for practicality reached 99% based on the results of students’ responses, and (3) for effectiveness reached 93.39% based on observation of students activity and reached 100% from students’ achievement Keywords: Yube Chemist Game, Instructional Medium, Periodic Table

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS, keterampilan metakognitif, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu One-Shot Case Study dan sasarannya adalah siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri Kesamben Jombang yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengamatan, metode tes, dan metode angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada setiap fase adalah ≥ 3,1 sehingga termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Keterampilan metakognitif siswa pada materi larutan penyangga telah terlatih dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata keterampilan perencanaan (planning skill) siswa sebesar 3,63; nilai rata-rata keterampilan pemantauan (monitoring skill) siswa sebesar 3,37; dan nilai rata-rata keterampilan evaluasi (evaluation skill) siswa sebesar 3,60. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga secara klasikal adalah 96,67% dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas sebesar 3,31. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata dari enam pertanyaan adalah sebesar 95,56%. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Tipe TPS, Hasil Belajar, Keterampilan Metakognitif, Respon Siswa The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of cooperative learning model TPS type, metacognitive skills, learning outcomes, and response of the students. The design used in this research was One-Shot Case Study and the target was students of XI Class MIA-2 of Kesamben Jombang State Senior High School in totaling 30 students. The method used was observation, test and questionnaire. The result showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model TPS type in every phase was ≥ 3.1 so that include to very good criteria. Metacognitive skills of students in buffer solution material has been trained with the acquisition value of students average planning skills was 3.63; average value of monitoring skills was 3.37; and the average value of evaluation skills was 3,60. The classical completeness students learning outcomes in buffer solution material was 96.67% with the average value of students class result was 3.31. The student response toward application cooperative learning model TPS type include to the very good criteria with the average percentage from six questions was in amount of 95.56 %. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan permainan The Tomb Labs Raider yang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Larutan Elektrolit dan Non Elektrolit. Permainan layak jika memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Langkah-langkah pengembangan permainan terdiri dari research and information collecting, perencanaan penelitian, pengembangan desain, dan ujicoba terbatas. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar telaah dan validasi, lembar respon siswa, prestest dan posttest, serta lembar aktivitas siswa. Permainan ini diujicobakan kepada 15 peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo. Kriteria kevalidan diketahui dari hasil validasi sebesar 97,14%(sangat valid). Kriteria kepraktisan diketahui dari hasil respon siswa sebesar 93,33%(sangat praktis) yang merupakan respon positif terhadap permainan yang dikembangkan. Sementara kriteria keefektifan ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100%(sangat efektif). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan The Tomb Labs Raider yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. The game was feasible if satisfy validity, practicality, and effectiveness criterions. The steps of game development consisted of research and information collecting, planning, and preliminary field testing. The instruments of this study were used review sheet, validation sheet, student’s response sheet, pretest and posttest, and observation of student’s activity sheet. The game was tested to 15 students of XI grade of SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo. Validity criterion was shown from validation result was 97,14%(very valid). Practicality criterion was shown from student’s response result was 93,33%(very practicalbility) which was positive response to game being developed. While effectiveness criterion was shown by the presence of study achievement was 100%(very effective). According to result of research, can be concluded that The Tomb Labs Raider game which developed was feasible to be used as instructional media. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan lembar kegiatan siswa berorientasi keterampilan proses siswa pada matero elektrolit nonelektrolit dan reaksi oksidasi reduksi. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan R&D namun hanya terbatas pada pengembangan produk dengan menggunakan uji coba terbatas. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar pretest dan postest keterampilan proses siswa dan lembar respon siswa. Alisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS secara teoritis maupun empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan layak secara teoritis maupun empiris. Secara teoritis, LKS memperoleh persentase kelayakan untuk masing-masing kriteria yaitu kriteria isi, dan konstruksi berturut-turut sebesar 79,40% dan 82,06%. Secara empiris, LKS memperoleh respon positif dari aktivitas siswa sebesar 85,16%, tes keterampilan proses sebesar 91,67% pada materi elektrolit dan nonelektrolit siswa dan sebesar 100% materi reaksi oksidasi dan reduksi dengan rata-rata kriteria n-gain skor sedang, dan mendapatkan respon positif melalui respon siswa sebesar 76,56%. LKS yang dikembangkan layak berdasarkan kelayakan empiris dari aspek kepraktisan dan keefektifan Kata Kunci: lks,keterampilan proses, elektrolit nonelektrolit, reaksi oksidasi reduksi This study aimed to know the feasibility of student activity sheet oriented process skills of students in Matero Non-electrolytes and electrolytic oxidation-reduction reactions. This research design development model of R&D, but only limited to the development of products using limited testing. Instruments used in this research is the study sheet, sheet validation, student activity sheets, sheet pretest and posttest process skills of students and student response sheet. Alisis quantitative data were analyzed descriptively to determine the feasibility of LKS theoretically and empirically. The results showed LKS developed feasible theoretically and empirically. Theoretically, LKS obtain eligibility percentage for each criterion, namely the criteria of content, and construction, respectively for 79.40% and 82.06%. Empirically, LKS obtain a positive response from the student activity amounted to 85.16%, the test process skills of 91.67% on the electrolyte material and Non-electrolytes students and of 100% of the material oxidation and reduction reactions with an average score of criterion n-gain medium, and get a positive response by the response of students amounted to 76.56%.Student worksheets develop is feasible based on the merits of emperical aspect of practicality and effectiveness. POLA PERGESERAN KONSEPSI SISWA BERBASIS MODEL MENTAL ATRIBUT PEMAHAMAN WACANA DENGAN STRATEGI MEMBACA RECIPROCAL TEACHING PADA KONSEP IKATAN KIMIA (THE PATTERNS OF STUDENT’S CONCEPTION BASED ON COMPREHENSION TEXT MENTAL MODEL WITH RECIPROCAL TEACHING READING STRATEGIES ON THE CONCEPT OF CHEMICAL BONDING)

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pola pergeseran konsepsi siswa berbasis model mental atribut pemahaman wacana pada konsep ikatan kimia setelah proses remediasi menggunakan strategi membaca reciprocal teaching. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Status miskonsepsi ditetapkan menggunakan soal konsep yang disertai certainty of response index (CRI). Penetapan tingkat pemahaman wacana rendah menggunakan tes model mental atribut pemahaman wacana. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon’s signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsepsi siswa sebelum remediasi adalah tahu konsep sebesar 45,10%, tidak tahu konsep sebesar 7,06%, dan miskonsepsi sebesar 47,84%. Setelah remediasi, konsepsi dari tujuh belas siswa mengalami pergeseran menjadi tahu konsep sebesar 71,77%, tidak tahu konsep sebesar 1,96%, dan miskonsepsi sebesar 26,27%. Berdasarkan hasil Wilcoxon’s signed rank test, pembelajaran remedial menggunakan strategi membaca reciprocal teaching dapat merubah konsepsi siswa berpemahaman wacana rendah (menaikkan jumlah siswa tahu konsep dan menurunkan jumlah siswa yang berada pada pemahaman tidak tahu konsep dan miskonsepsi) secara signifikan pada konsep ikatan kimia. Kata Kunci: remediasi, pola pergeseran konsepsi, pemahaman wacana. The main of this research is to know the patterns of student’s conception based on comprehension text mental model on the concept of chemical bonding after remediation with reciprocal teaching reading strategies. Research design was used one group pretest-posttest design. Student’s conception status defined use concept’s question is accompanied certainty of response index (CRI). Student’s low comprehension text was determinated by using an mental model of comprehension text’s test. Data analysis used in this research was Wilcoxon’s signed rank test. The results showed that student’s conception before remediation are know concept by 45,10%, not know the concept by 7,06%, and misconception by 47,84%. After remediation, student’s conception shifted into know concept by 71,77%, not know the concept by 1,96%, and misconception by 26,27%. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon’s signed rank test, remediation with reciprocal teaching reading strategies can shift student’s conception who have low comprehension text (increasing student’s know concept and decreasing student’s not know concept and misconception) significantly on the concept of chemical bonding.
