Abstract

Technology is growing rapidly, of course teachers must be creative and innovative in applying learning methods, especially in Citizenship Education subjects. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the application of the role playing method to learning civics education. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study. The data used in this study uses secondary data in the form of research results from relevant journals. In this role playing, students are not just theoretical but play an active role in Citizenship Education lessons.

Abstract

Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika are two very important values for the Indonesian nation. Both emphasize the importance of tolerance and unity in Indonesia and are very important things to have in strengthening Indonesian human identity. This study aims to find out how the appreciation of diversity and the values of Pancasila in strengthening Indonesian human identity are applied at SMAN 10 Palembang. This research is a qualitative research using the methods of observation, interviews and literature studies which will describe how schools carry out an appreciation of diversity and the values of Pancasila. The results of the study show that SMAN 10 Palembang has implemented a school environment that is diverse in diversity and implements Pancasila values well as evidenced by carrying out joint discussion activities, holding clean Friday activities, praying according to each other's beliefs, deliberating in making decisions, acting fairly and mutual respect and respect between educators and students.

Abstract

School is the main target in the formation of the character of students. SMA N 10 Palembang implements the values of Pancasila and diversity through school culture as an effort to shape the character of Pancasila students. Forms of culture that exist in SMA N 10 Palembang such as reading prayers before starting learning, Duha prayers together, 5S habituation, election of student council presidents, group discussions, and waste bank activities. Based on the results of observations and literature studies conducted, the culture in SMA N 10 Palembang already reflects the values of Pancasila and diversity to shape the character of Pancasila students who are faithful, devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, have global diversity, are independent, work together, think critically and creatively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri VII Cilegon pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial tentang keanekaragaman suku bangsa dan budaya. Metode yang dipakai ialah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode ini dilakukan dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Jenis penelitian dipilih oleh peneliti karena dapat mempengaruhi perlakuan eksperimental pada masing-masing kelompok (eksperimen) dan memberikan perlakuan yang biasa pada masing-masing kelompok (kontrol). Subjek dalam penelitian yang diambil ialah siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri VII Cilegon, peneliti mengambil sampel 1 kelas yaitu kelas 4 dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang di SD Negeri VII Cilegon, dengan cara mengelompokkan siswa menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang dengan pembelajaran discovery dan 15 siswa dari kelompok B berperam sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil yang dicapai dari analisis hasil belajar secara keseluruhan siswa kelas 4 diperoleh nilai t = 3,427 dan signifikan (p) yang diperoleh adalah 0,002, taraf signifikan yang digunakan adalah a = 0,05. Karena p = 0,002 <; α = 0,05, maka hasilnya signifikan. Rata-rata nilai integritas yang diperoleh dari kuesioner angket akhir masing-masing adalah 29,4. Terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,9. Artinya ada perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa sebelum belajar discovery learning, dan setelah belajar discovery learning, motivasinya mengalami peningkatan atau dipindahkan ke kelas IPS.

Abstract

This research was conducted to study primary student Higher Order Thinking Skills through the RADEC learning model. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a suitable pretest-posttest control group design. Research subjects were 31 students who took part in RADEC learning and 28 students who took conventional learning (ongoing learning). All of these students are elementary school students in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency. The research instrument used was an observation sheet, a test item that had been discussed by experts, and a reading habits questionnaire. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 24. The results showed that the implementation of RADEC was able to improve HOTS of primary school students on the topic of recycling, RADEC learning was able to improve reading skills of Primary students, as well as significantly providing benefits for HOTS students of RADEC learning and Conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of multi-media and learning styles on social studies learning outcomes of students. This research was conducted at SDN Sukasari 6 Tangerang City from January 2013 to April 2013. The population in this study was all students in class V SDN Sukasari 6 Tangerang City totaling 76 people. Whereas in determining the research sample using probability sampling where the population used as a sample is 68 people. The research method uses an experimental design by treating groups of students (treatment) using multi-media, while for the control class using image media. Data collection techniques to obtain groups of students who have a visual learning style and auditory learning style by giving a questionnaire using a Likerst scale, while to obtain data on learning outcomes using an achievement test or post test. Data analysis techniques were performed using two-way analysis of variance (Anova) with a significance level of 0.05 or 5%. The first hypothesis is that there is a difference in student social studies learning outcomes between learning using multimedia and learning using media images as stated by the results of the Turkey test Qh 20.08 ≥ Qt 3.99. The second hypothesis is that there are differences in social studies learning outcomes between students who have a visual learning style and an auditory learning style as expressed by the results of the Turkey Qh test 4.93 ≥ Qt 3.99. The third hypothesis is that there is an interaction between learning media that uses multi-media and the learning styles of students in social studies learning. Statistically, the interaction is described as F count = 4.57 ≥ Ftable = 3.99. Fourth hypothesis There is a difference in social studies learning outcomes of students who have a visual learning style who participate in learning using multimedia compared to learning using media images, statistically this effect can be expressed by the results of the Turkey test which is Qh = 8.90 > Qt = 3.06. The fifth hypothesis is that there is a difference in social studies learning outcomes of students who have an auditory learning style who participate in learning using multimedia compared to learning using media images with the Turkey test results being Qh = 12.36 > Qt = 3.06
