Abstract

The Directorate General of Highways through the Directorate of Road Preservation has implemented a new policy, namely road preservation using the long segment method for Indonesia's national roads. The long segment method aims to ensure that road pavements, shoulders, drainage systems, road auxiliary buildings and road equipment are at all times in a stable service condition based on the performance required in the contract documents. This research will discuss the suitability between expectations and the performance of Long Segment road preservation in the field using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. From the analysis of the IPA method by calculating the suitability between the level of performance received and the level of expectation for road performance, it will be known the satisfaction level of organizers and road users with the performance of Long Segment road preservation. The sample in this study were 10 expert respondents, from the Indonesian Bridge Road Development Association Professional Organization (HPJI), Academics, Commitment Making Officers (PPK), Consultants and Contractors. Abstract

Water has an important role in the life of humans and other creatures in nature. There is no life in this world that does not need water. Water is essential for human consumption and has become one of the most important wealth. Population growth must be followed by the availability of healthy and sufficient clean water. The water can come from above ground level, below or from ground water (eg river water, lake water and so on) which must be treated before being used. The Batang Kawa River is the source of raw water for the residents of the Kinipan village and the planning for the construction of this simple processing unit is so that it can meet the raw water for the residents of the Kinipan village and pay attention to a good distribution system so that the distribution of clean water can fully become an important reference. Abstract

: Garbage is something that is always there in everyday life. Everyone who is active will produce waste and so is what happened in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The problem of this research is that the waste management process that has been carried out has not been included in the good and correct category because the management process is carried out by improper disposal and by burning. The purpose of this study was to determine the existing waste management system in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive observational design. Research techniques carried out by means of field surveys, focus group discussions involving participants, open interviews, and literature studies. The participants used in this study were representatives from the Environment Agency, village heads, village representative bodies. The results of the study stated that the waste management in the sub-district was still not good, this was due to the absence of land for the construction of temporary shelters, the facilities and infrastructure that were still not good, and the level of public awareness that was still low on the importance of managing waste properly and correctly. Abstract

A bridge is a building built over a railroad, river or road so that people or vehicles can cross from one side to the other. Bridge buildings in general must be strong to withstand heavy vehicles passing on it, strong to withstand strong winds from the side withstand the vibrations caused by the earthquake. The pile foundation is part of the structure that is used to receive and transfer (transmit) loads from the superstructure to the supporting soil which is located at a certain depth. The pillars are long and slender which transfers the load to deeper ground. The main materials of the poles are iron and concrete.The understructure of this bridge consists of abutments and foundations, both of which have an important role in supporting the bridge structure. The planned abutment dimensions are 3.876 m high, with a pile cap width of 3.80 m and a pile cap length of 6 m. The establishment of a bridge is also due to the strong foundation that supports the bridge. The type of foundation used under the existing abutments is pile foundation with a diameter of 500 mm and a depth of ±35 m and a pile cap thickness of 1 m. Abstract

Retarder is an auxiliary chemical to slow down the initial setting time so that the mixture remains workable for a longer time. In general, sugar-containing raw materials can be used as retarder or water reducer sets. Granulated sugar is a material that is widely available and is expected to fulfill this. This research aims to determine the effect of sugar on concrete bonding time and the effect on concrete compressive strength. In this activity, preparations were made for the manufacture of test specimens, from preparing tools and materials such as cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water, and sugar, as well as a survey to the Laboratory to check the tools to be used for making test specimens. Testing will be carried out for 21 days, 28 days and 35 days. After all the data is obtained, data processing will be carried out to obtain research results. K-125 concrete is included in the class II category which can be used for structural works in general. From the results of this study it is known that the initial setting time is 2 hours for normal concrete (BN) and 5 hours for concrete with mixed solution. sugar (BG30). From the results of the cement setting time test it proves that the sugar solution makes the cement setting time longer (Initial Setting Time).
