Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between job satisfaction and turnover at CV. Sumber Harapan Tani. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 47 people and a sample of 47 people, the researchers used a total sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis using the correlational analysis method, it is known that there is a significant negative correlation between job satisfaction and turnover seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) which has a value of -0.725 with p or significance 0.000 0.050, which means the hypothesis which states that there is a correlation a negative and significant correlation between job satisfaction and turnover accepted. Likewise with the value of the determinant coefficient (R2)which has a value of 0.526, this is equivalent to 52.6%, meaning that job satisfaction for employees contributes 52.6% to turnover employeeIn this study, job satisfaction of employees is low, based on the empirical average value obtained (37.98) which is greater than the hypothetical average value (50). Furthermore, it is known that turnover in CV. Sumber Harapan Tani is classified as high, it is based on the empirical average value obtained (66.15) which is greater than the hypothetical average value (52.5).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between workload and work stress in employees of PT. Kemuning Group Medan. The background of the research is based on the phenomenon of increasing demands on company productivity which is often not proportional to the physical and psychological capacity of employees, thus giving rise to symptoms of work stress. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method and involved the entire active employee population of 93 people through a total sampling technique. Data was obtained using a four-level Likert scale-based questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed by Pearson's Product Moment correlation test through the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the level of workload and work stress of employees is in the high category. Furthermore, the correlation test showed a significant positive relationship with the value of Rxy = 0.809 (p 0.05), where workload contributed 65.4% to work stress. These findings confirm that overload is the dominant factor affecting employee work stress. Practically, the results of the study recommend the need for workload management, stress intervention programs, and social support in the work environment to maintain employee well-being and productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between conformity and juvenile delinquency among students at SMA 1 Sinunukan. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 467 students, and the sample in this study was students who had records of juvenile delinquency at SMA N 1 Sinunukan, with a total of 199 students. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between conformity and juvenile delinquency in students at SMA N 1 Sinunukan seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.578 with p = 0.000 0.050, meaning the hypothesis that there is a positive correlation between conformity and juvenile delinquency is acceptable. Likewise, with the value of the determinant coefficient (R^2) for students/I who have a value of 0.334, this is equivalent to 33.4%, meaning that the conformity of these students/I contributes 33.4% to students at SMA 1 Sinunukan. Conformity with juvenile delinquency among students at SMA 1 Sinunukan is relatively high, due to the empirical mean value being greater than the hypothetical mean value.

Abstract

Adolescence is a developmental phase that is prone to deviant behavior, one of which is juvenile delinquency. This phenomenon not only harms individuals, but also has an impact on social security. One of the factors believed to be closely related to juvenile delinquency is aggressive behavior, both verbal and physical. This study aims to determine the relationship between aggressive behavior and juvenile delinquency in Kwala Begumit Binjai Village. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population was 247 adolescents, with 88 people as samples through purposive sampling techniques based on criteria of having committed delinquency in the past year. The instrument is in the form of the Likert scale which is compiled based on the aspects of Hurlock (1980) and Berkowitz (2005). Data analysis was carried out with Pearson's Product Moment correlation after going through validity, reliability, normality, and linearity tests. The results showed a very strong positive relationship between aggressive behavior and juvenile delinquency (r = 0.983; p 0.05), with a contribution of 93.1%. This proves that the higher the aggressive behavior, the higher the level of delinquency. Therefore, aggressive control through parenting, peer influence, and social intervention is needed to prevent juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence self-disclosure on social media in Psychology students at the University of Medan Area. The population in this study were psychology students in 2018 with a total of 350 students. The sample was 66 students with the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through a scale of self-disclosure factors based on the theory of Devito (2014) including: personality, culture, gender, audience, and topic. The method used in this study was a quantitative method. Data were analyzed using factorial analysis with SPSS version 23. Factorial analysis was used in this study to determine the contribution of each factor that influences self-disclosure on social media in Psychology students at the University of Medan Area. Based on the results of the factor analysis, it shows that each factor has a different contribution. The cultural factor has the highest percentage of 24%, the audience factor has a percentage of 24%, the topic factor is 21%, the personality factor has a percentage of 19%, and the gender factor has a percentage of 12%.
