Abstract

Lecturer research or scientific results published both nationally and with Sinta accreditation. This is done to determine the level of publication of lecturer research results that have been published so that they can be easily disseminated so that the knowledge gained influences knowledge in general and has an impact on people's lives. The problem in this research is how to apply the K-Means clustering method with reference to the results of lecturer research publications based on national journals and sinta accredited journals. In this study, the researchers used the K-Means method, which has the goal of minimizing the objective function that has been set in the clustering process and maximizing the variation of data in other clusters. So researchers will look for the best number of clusters in the K-means method. The discussion is carried out based on the data that has been collected in the form of national journal weights and sinta accredited journal weights by utilizing Matlab R2013b software. From the results of system testing, lecturer clustering was obtained related to the results of journal weights, namely lecturers with high national scores and no sinta accreditation weights, lecturers with quite high national weights and high sinta accreditation weights, moderate national weights and low sinta accreditation weights, low national weights and high weights with low Sinta accreditation. This study resulted in the conclusion that the data was processed through several stages, starting with calculating the weight value of each issue of the national journal and sinta accredited journal. Then the results of these weights are recapitulated based on each lecturer so that it can be seen the total value of the lecturers' weights in publishing research results in the form of journals that have been published both in the form of national publications and sinta publications.

Abstract

Business owners need to estimate their revenue, which is crucial for the sustainability of their operations. Thus, entrepreneurs such as micro, small, and medium-sized business owners, as well as owners of grocery stores, leverage technological advancements to maximize their sales operations. However, manual sales activities can pose challenges for managing sales data, such as disorganized sales record keeping, failure to record sales of high-volume customers, and time-consuming manual reporting for revenue predictions. To address these issues, researchers have developed a revenue prediction information system. In this study, revenue and profit predictions for the following period were calculated using the Least Square algorithm with the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). An example calculation for a 12-month period resulted in a revenue forecast of Rp. 2,837,687.76 for the month of June 2023 with a MAPE of 12.71%.

Abstract

Art exhibitions are one way to communicate a work of art while displaying creations that can be enjoyed by visitors. However, it takes a very high cost to make a good exhibition hall, and many people are too lazy to go to the exhibition if it is just to look around. In this era of technology 4.0, many new innovations have emerged in human life, one of which is virtual reality. Virtual reality is increasingly being used as an alternative to visiting a place without having to come there directly. This research aims to create an Android system using virtual reality that provides an experience to users viewing works virtually. Virtual reality prepares a representative space to display works and also does not need to incur high costs while still providing quality and complete information from exhibition speakers. This research was built using Blender and Unity.  In the application design analysis, there are four main stages: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) product development, and (4) product testing. The results of the assessment conducted by the virtual reality lecturer obtained an average result of 89%. In addition, the results of trials for students obtained an average percentage of 94% and were included in the very good category. The results of this study show that AR has indeed proven feasible to be used as a learning medium in introducing photographic works with 2D and 3D Animation, and therefore the potential to make exhibitions in VR is also used for other courses and learning. The result of this research is that an Android-based virtual reality system can simulate the exhibition of artwork.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of virtual reality (VR) in simple math quizzes as a children's learning platform. The background of this research stems from the need for innovative and engaging educational tools to enhance children's learning experiences in mathematics. Traditional methods of teaching mathematics often lack interactivity and fail to captivate young learners. By leveraging the immersive and interactive nature of VR technology, this research aims to address these challenges and create an effective learning platform for children. The main problem addressed by the research is the difficulty children often face in grasping mathematical concepts due to their abstract nature. By integrating VR into math quizzes, children can visualize and manipulate mathematical concepts in a virtual environment, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, the use of VR can make learning math more enjoyable and engaging for children, leading to increased motivation and improved learning outcomes. The research utilizes a specific model of VR technology to implement the app math quizzes. The exact model used is not specified in the abstract. However, it can be assumed that the chosen VR hardware and software align with the requirements of creating an interactive and immersive learning experience for children. The VR technology allows for the creation of virtual environments where children can interact with mathematical elements and solve quizzes in an engaging manner. In terms of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and design pattern method used in this research, no specific information is provided in the abstract. Further details are required to determine the specific SDLC and design pattern method employed in the implementation of the VR-based math quizzes.

Abstract

The liver is a vital organ that is important for humans because it plays a role in regulating hormone cycles, neutralizing toxins, and controlling the composition of blood. Liver disease is a common ailment worldwide. Often, this disease occurs without specific symptoms (asymptomatic). Therefore, liver disease is known as a "silent killer," and it is necessary to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat liver diseases. Data mining technology can be useful for rapidly detecting liver diseases from laboratory diagnosis results. One classification algorithm that can be used is the C50 algorithm. This algorithm is an improvement over the previous C45 algorithm, with several advantages such as efficient memory usage and more concise tree results. However, the C50 algorithm may experience overfitting on complex medical data, requiring the boosting process using AdaBoost. The AdaBoost algorithm can make the C50 algorithm more susceptible to overfitting. Another advantage of the AdaBoost algorithm is its ability to handle imbalanced datasets in terms of target labels. This research used 583 data from UCI machine learning with two target labels: liver and normal. The research results show that the C50 algorithm is capable of identification with an accuracy rate of 74.58%. Furthermore, the C50 algorithm's accuracy can be maximized by AdaBoost to reach 86.44%
