Abstract

Character education aims to instill good moral principles in students so they can use them in their everyday lives. One educational system that aims to produce noble souls is pesantren. Character education in pesantren can make a significant contribution to students' moral development. To achieve the best results for the character development of the students, character education in the pesantren is carried out using a multidisciplinary approach. Students' moral development can benefit greatly from character education in the classroom. Finding out how character education is applied at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Falah Mataram Baru in East Lampung, Indonesia, is the aim of this study. Teachers, administrators, students, and the neighborhood surrounding the pesantren served as the trusted informants who controlled the information and provided the necessary data. Data collection was done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely, data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of character education at Miftahul Falah Islamic Boarding School is carried out using several methods, namely exemplary, habituation, and giving advice or direction.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are important components of an efficient educational process in schools. The management of educational facilities and infrastructure must be done in order to guarantee the smooth operation of the madrasa's facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to describe the quality management of facilities and infrastructure at Madrasa Aliyah Negeri 1 Pringsewu, Lampung, Indonesia. The principal of Madrasa Aliyah Negeri 1 Pringsewu, the administrative staff, the committee, and the vice principal of facilities and infrastructure are the study's sources of data. Observation, documentation, and interviews were used to collect the data. The analysis of the study's data included data reduction techniques, data visualization, and conclusion drawing or verification. Triangulation was used to check the validity of the data in the interim. Planning, doing, checking, and action is all used to manage the quality of the facilities and infrastructure at Madrasa Aliyah Negeri 1 Pringsewu, Lampung, Indonesia, based on the research's findings. After determining the needs through analysis, procurement is done by offering opportunities to partners. Maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is done by collecting data on the facilities and infrastructure owned, then organizing and taking special care of electronic objects. Finally, follow-up is done by using and removing facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Responsibility is one of the mandates of the 2013 Curriculum for social attitude competencies. Learners who have responsibility will certainly complete their learning tasks seriously, which will affect their learning outcomes. Therefore, it is important to improve the responsibility of students at school. This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the character and sense of responsibility of students at Ibnu Rusyd Islamic Elementary School in Kotabumi, North Lampung. The data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation come from research data sources that are trusted and considered capable of answering the problems studied. The research data were analyzed in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the research data was tested by triangulating methods and triangulating sources. The results showed that teachers' efforts in fostering students' sense of responsibility were carried out through the involvement of school components. The nature of student responsibility, which includes responsibility for oneself, the environment, parents, and God, is formed through self-development and integrating responsibility character values in all subjects.

Abstract

Women's leadership has a significant role in achieving the successful implementation of activities that take place in the madrasa. Motivation is very important in increasing the morale and productivity of employees, the higher the motivation of a person to carry out work, the higher the productivity. The purpose of this study is to describe women's motivational leadership at Madrasa Ibtidaiyah Negeri in Lampung Selatan Regency, Indonesia. The research data were collected through the process of interviews, observation, and documentation through primary data sources, namely female madrasa heads in the State Madrasa Ibtidaiyah and their deputies, teachers, and staff of the State Madrasa Ibtidaiyah in South Lampung Regency, and a number of books, brochures, websites, and examples of previous research related to this research. Data sources in this study were selected purposefully through snowball sampling. Data analysis was carried out through the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity checks in this study were carried out by triangulating with sources. The results show that the leadership of women in Madrasa Ibtidaiyah Negeri of South Lampung Regency can be said to have been able to motivate their subordinates. Motivation of subordinates is done in several ways, namely: (a) setting the physical environment, (b) setting the work atmosphere, (c) modeling discipline, (d) encouraging, (e) giving awards, and (f) providing learning resources.

Abstract

The work culture of teachers in madrasa needs to be formed to achieve sustainable changes in the workplace, including increased productivity, so that teachers can have the following: Understanding the basic substance of the meaning of work: attitude towards work and the work environment, behavior when working, work ethics, attitude towards time, and ways or tools used to work. The purpose of this study was to determine the work culture of Madrasa Aliyah teachers in Central Lampung Regency, Indonesia. The research data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation were analyzed through the processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The validity of the data in this study was tested for credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confirmability (objectivity). According to the findings, teachers' work culture in improving the quality of learning in madrasa aliyah in Central Lampung Regency includes 1) integrity and professionalism. 2) Leadership and exemplary 3) Togetherness and group dynamics 4) Accuracy and speed 5) rationalism and emotional intelligence.
