Abstract

Background: In this fast-changing era, the character building of PGSD students is an important part of their preparation to become good teachers. The role of the teacher as a guide and role model for students is crucial in this process. PGSD's struct culture trains student character through customs and beliefs, important in sustainable character education. Reflects the faculty's commitment in preparing students to lead social change with a strong spirit and character. Method: Ethnographic research is needed to examine the culture of character building for PGSD lecturers and students. The ethnographic approach focuses on in-depth observation and interviews with teachers and PGSD students to analyze their social interactions. According to research, teacher culture has a significant impact on student character development. Result: This study shows that the use of traditional culture and beliefs in the education of PGSD lecturers has a positive effect on the development of student personality in learning. The character of PGSD students shows how important it is to recognize local culture in education and support the preservation of local traditions and wisdom. Confident teachers encourage students with character. This study is about how important traditional culture is for PGSD students. Indigenous culture and beliefs impact the environment, student personality, and ethnographic research. Confident teachers encourage students with character. Abstract

Background: This study aims to evaluate the validity of the Pop-Up Book media in science education at elementary schools. The purpose of this research is to assess the suitability of the developed pop-up book media for use in the 4th grade of SDN Pajang 3, Surakarta City. Method: The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), utilizing the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Result: Students are still interested in seeing the Pop-Up Book media from each interesting page and listening to the stories told by the teacher. This makes it easier for students to understand the learning material. Implication: The researcher's aim in developing this media is to attract students' attention during the learning process, prevent student boredom, and create interaction between teachers and students so that learning objectives can be achieved well. Novelty: The present study revealed the implementation of saint assessment in elementary school comprehensively.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the process of social interaction of autistic children at SLB Anugerah Colomadu. Method: This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach model. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The informant involved was the child's homeroom teacher. Result: The results of the study show that social interaction for autistic children can occur with teachers and peers. However, not all autistic children can interact with other people, because the majority of them are more interested in being alone by doing activities they like. Implication: The implications of this study are: First, the elementary schools' headmasters in Indonesia should enrich the teachers' knowledge and insight related to social interaction. Second, the government, supported by researchers, has to design an excellent assessment system to solve time limitations. Novelty: The present study revealed the implementation of social interaction especially autistic at elementary school comprehensively.

Abstract

Background: Planting character education in schools is carried out through daily activities in the school environment. One of them is the character value of discipline. The purposes of this study: 1) evaluate the achievement of the character education program at the elementary school level in Sukoharjo Regency, 2) provide input and suggestions to teachers and schools for improving the character program. Method: This type of research is program evaluation with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study included: 5th grade students, homeroom teachers, teachers, security guards and parties directly related to students in carrying out activities at school related to character education. This study used interview, questionnaire, and observation techniques. Result: The conclusions from this study are: 1) the disciplinary character education program at SD Negeri 2 Gonilan is running well or it can be said to be successful, 2) the suggestions and input that we give to schools are that schools can provide outreach to the community regarding the importance of disciplinary character education and how to apply it at home so that students can apply the character of discipline at school and at home so that it is not only carried out in learning, but also outside of learning in daily activities in the school environment. Abstract

Background: The School Literacy Movement in Indonesia can be said to be low compared to other countries based on PISA research. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the School Literacy Movement at SD Al Islam 2 jamsaren Method: This study uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Informants obtained in this study amounted to 4 people consisting of class VI students using the Non-Probability sampling technique. This research was conducted by collecting the four informants to a place that had been determined from the start with a questionnaire guide Result: the description of students' perceptions of the school literacy movement was based on a questionnaire given by the researcher. Implication: Based on the results of the questionnaire given to the informants, it was found that they did not fully understand the meaning of literacy, but for a good level of knowledge in reading literacy books. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used by teachers to find suitable strategies for increasing the literacy movement in schools Novelty: The present study revealed the implementation of literacy in elementary school comprehensively.
