Abstract

This research is development research that aims to produce Student Worksheets (LKS) with a valid and practical contextual approach so that it is suitable for use in the learning process on arithmetic and geometric sequences. The development design used in this study is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely 1) the analysis stage, 2) the planning stage, 3) the development stage, 4) the implementation stage, and 5) the evaluation stage. Based on the data analysis results, the following results were obtained (1) the level of validity got a score of 3.3 with very valid validity criteria, (2) the level of practicality got a score of 3.9, with efficient criteria of practicality. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed worksheets meet the good criteria so that they are suitable to be used as one of the teaching materials that can be used in Arithmetic and Geometry Sequences.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a competency that must be trained in students because this ability is needed in today's life. Discovery learning models can help students eliminate their doubts about a concept because it leads to a final and definite truth. This study aims to determine the effect of PhET simulation on the Discovery learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sape, Jalan Pelabuhan Sape, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. The data collection technique in this study used a test instrument to measure students' thinking skills. Utilizing tests at the beginning of learning (pre-test) and tests at the end of learning (post-test), the results of the pre-test and post-test are the data to determine students' critical thinking skills. The data analysis used is parametric analysis. The results of this study show a significant effect between the PhET simulation and the Discovery learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the form of an increase in post-test scores that occur in the experimental class using PhET-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of problem based learning on students' learning achievement in science. The population in this study were students of SMP Islam Skilled NM NW Pancor Kopong. The sample was class I which was taken randomly. In this study using a problem based learning model, this study uses a quantitative approach by using the type of experimental research. This study uses a posttest only control group design. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that the test data obtained a value of 0.71. If it is included in the test criteria, namely > , the data is not homogeneous and vice versa. The results of the hypothesis test carried out were of 4.06, Based on the Hypothesis Test, it was found that < then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected with a significant level of 5% with = 1.99 and = 4.06.

Abstract

The low understanding of the students in mastering the material was cuased by teacher’s method used conventional method and less attention with another method. So that way, it needed an interative learning approach to solve the problems aspecially in prism and pyramid. The learning approach that mean here is Numbered Head Together. The research aimed to increase students’ activities and achievement of SMPN 1 Praya Barat Daya in academic years 2020/2021 by implementing Numbered Head Together learning model. The research used classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycles consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of the research was students VIII 3 class with total subject 23 students. Based on the data analysis was gotten that there were increasing students activities and achhievement from first cycle to the second cycle with average score 2,77 in active categories with classical completeness 82,60% and average score 78,04. And the cycle to average score was 3,05 with medium categories and the percetage 91.30% with average 83,91. Therefore, it took conclusion that the implementation of Numbered Head Together Learning Model can increase students’ activities and achievement of SMPN 1 Praya Barat Daya in academic years 2020/2021.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tergolong dalam kategori deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis dan faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa MTs Negeri 1 Kediri dalam menyelesiakan masalah berdasarkan karakterisk kelas (akselerasi dan regular). Proses pemecahan masalah ditinjau berdasarkan tahapan Polya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII akselerasi dan VII-J (regular) MTsN 1 Kediri tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan mengidentifikasi kesalahan dan disesuaikan dengan indikator-indikator kesalahan menurut tahapan Polya dan untuk mendalami faktor penyebabnya dilakukan wawancara secara mendalam. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini ialah murid kelas akselerasi dan reguler, juga guru matematika yang mengajar di kelas tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode tes tertulis dan metode wawancara. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian analisis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa MTs Negeri 1 Kediri dalam menyelesaikan masalah operasi bentuk aljabar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII-L (akselerasi) sebesar 36% dan siswa kelas VII-J (reguler) sebesar 81%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik pada siswa akselerasi maupun reguler masih ditemukan siswa yang mengalami kesalahan ketika menyelesaikan masalah operasi bentuk aljabar meskipun kelas akselerasi persentase lebih sedikit dibandingkan kelas reguler.

Abstract

The growth and increase in environmental damage (environmental disasters) has reached regional and even global dimensions. As an educational practitioner, we should help to overcome environmental problems through environmental education which is integrated with subjects in noble schools from kindergarten to university level so that we can play an active role in building a society that cares about the environment. The method in this research is literature or library research with collection techniques carried out by examining various sources such as books, curricula, research journals, articles, papers or other information. The aim of the research is to provide solutions on how to integrate environmental education concepts with secondary school subjects. The research results show that schools can be used as supporting facilities in implementing environmental education by optimizing the resources they have, and the subjects in secondary schools can also be integrated with the concept of environmental education
