Abstract

Spirituality is something that is believed by someone in relation to a higher power (God), which creates a need for and love for the existence of God, and apologizes for all mistakes that have been made. Spirituality is the only support and source of individual strength in dealing with illness. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the family in fulfilling spiritual needs in patients treated in the ICU room at Sayang Rakyat Regional General Hospital. The design in this study is research using a survey approach. The research was conducted in the ICU Room of the Sayang Rakyat Hospital, Prov. South Sulawesi with a total sample of 32 respondents. The results showed that 29 respondents obtained good family role values and 3 respondents who had poor family roles. The conclusion in this study is that most families have a good role in fulfilling the spiritual needs of patients treated in the ICU room of the Sayang Rakyat Regional General Hospital. The advice from this study is that it is best if the provision of care to patients does not only focus on meeting the patient's physical and psychological needs, but also refers to the patient's spiritual needs which coexist with their physical needs

Abstract

Family support is a social resource that can assist individuals in dealing with a stressful event. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of family support in efforts to prevent depression in the elderly at the Batua Health Center in Makassar. This research method is descriptive, with cross sectional method. The population in this study were all families and the elderly at the Batua Raya Makassar Health Center, namely 53. The sample taken was 39 respondents, which were obtained using the Slovin formula. The results obtained from the data analysis test showed that there was a picture of good emotional support for 31 respondents (79.5%), good appreciation support for 25 respondents (75.8%), good information support for 30 respondents (76.9%) ), and prevention of depression in the elderly is good, namely 34 respondents (87.9%). The conclusion shows that most of the elderly have good depression prevention supported by good family support. It is hoped that it will provide more support to the elderly so that the elderly do not experience excessive depression which will lead to health problems for the elderly

Abstract

Elderly is part of the process of growth and development, humans do not suddenly grow old, but develop from infants, children, adults and the elderly. One of the causes of health problems in the elderly is unpreparedness and efforts to fight the changes experienced in old age which puts individuals of this age in a wrong position which eventually becomes a source of accumulated stress. One effort to deal with stress is the relaxation method. This technique is called Benson relaxation, which is a procedure to help individuals deal with stressful situations and efforts to relieve stress. The research objective was to determine the effect of benson relaxation on reducing stress levels in the elderly. The method in this study used a quasiexperimental design with one group pretest-posttest involving 30 respondents from 285 populations. Measuring tool used in research is a questionnaire. The results of this study were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test, which showed that the elderly before being given the Benson relaxation experienced 5 mild stress (16.7%) and 25 moderate stress (83.3). Meanwhile, after being given Benson relaxation, 17 (56.7%) experienced mild stress and 13 (43.3%) moderate stress. The conclusion is that there is the effect of benson relaxation on reducing stress levels in Salenrang Village, Kec. Bontoa Kab. Maros. It is hoped that the elderly can apply this Benson relaxation technique to overcome the stress experienced in everyday life

Abstract

Daerah Bima, yang sebagian besar dikelilingi oleh laut di Indonesia, sangat mengandalkan transportasi perahu sebagai salah satu sarana mobilitas masyarakat. Angkutan feri, khususnya, memainkan peran penting dalam ekonomi lokal, memengaruhi tingkat aktivitas dan perkembangan ekonomi. Transportasi darat memerlukan waktu tempuh yang lebih lama, sekitar 1 hingga 2 jam, sementara menggunakan transportasi laut hanya memerlukan waktu sekitar 15 hingga 30 menit. Penentuan tarif perahu tradisional memerlukan penanganan dan pertimbangan kebijakan yang cermat untuk menyeimbangkan kepentingan penumpang sebagai konsumen dan penyedia transportasi umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami tarif angkutan penyeberangan saat ini sehubungan dengan kemampuan ekonomi penumpang dan kesesuaian tarif dengan Biaya Operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Ability to Pay untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan membayar pengguna jasa agar sejalan dengan tingkat pendapatan dan biaya operasional armada. Perhitungan Ability to Pay menunjukkan bahwa 51% pengguna setuju membayar Rp. 16.000 per satu kali perjalanan, mendominasi tanggapan secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, analisis membandingkan pendapatan dan pengeluaran untuk setiap moda transportasi setiap tahunnya. Dengan asumsi tingkat keterisian penumpang sebesar 100%, keuntungan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp. 685.581.000, untuk 75% sebesar Rp. 483.981.000, dan 50% sebesar Rp. 181.582.000. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang keseimbangan yang diperlukan antara kepentingan ekonomi penumpang dan operasional yang berkelanjutan dari transportasi feri. Ini memberikan informasi berharga bagi pembuat kebijakan untuk merumuskan kebijakan penetapan harga yang adil dan efektif yang mendukung aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat dan kebutuhan operasional penyedia transportasi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact felt by the community after participating in community service activities for the Village Community Service and Empowerment Grant Program (PHP2D). The analysis used is an analysis of the perceptions of the program recipients regarding their level of understanding, level of ability or skill, and level of income after the program ends. Respondents are the community recipients of the program so the method for determining respondents is the Purposive Sampling Method, totaling 30 people. The results of perception analysis using a Likert scale show that the level of understanding of the community has understood what has been conveyed in the program activities, with a percentage value of 60% of respondents understanding, the level of ability or skill of the community has changed greatly, with a percentage of 70% of respondents really understanding, while for the level of income The community is still in the fixed category, where the percentage value of 86.66% of respondents stated that there had been no change in income from the program.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Bogor Regency. The research method used was quantitative with a descriptive statistical approach, involving 95 respondents selected through total sampling. The findings from the descriptive statistical test show that the quality of public services at the Bogor District Population and Civil Registration Office is generally considered "high and good." The conclusion of this study confirms that the quality of public services at the agency reflects the organization's positive efforts in meeting the community's needs and expectations.

Abstract

This research focuses on exploration of the impact of transformational leadership on employee performance, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of this relationship. The hypothesis tested in this study states that transformational leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance. leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance. In collecting data, This study involved 156 respondents as a representative sample of the population. The data analysis method used is inferential analysis, allowing the researchers to draw broader conclusions from this limited sample. The results of the study revealed that there is a positive and significant influence between transformational and employee performance. This means that a leadership style that focuses on developing individual potential, motivating, and creating a shared vision have a real impact on employee performance. a real impact on employee performance. The conclusion of this study contributes to our understanding of the importance of transformational leadership in the context of work environment. The practical implications of this research can serve as a basis for organizations to develop and improve their leadership practices to improve overall employee performance.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) melalui pelatihan komunikasi pemasaran sebagai media promosi. UMK di Indonesia sering menghadapi tantangan dalam memanfaatkan strategi pemasaran modern, terutama dalam hal penggunaan media sosial dan alat pemasaran digital. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pelatihan dirancang untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan agar pelaku UMK dapat memanfaatkan komunikasi pemasaran secara efektif. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan pelaku UMK, diikuti dengan pengembangan materi pelatihan yang mencakup konsep dasar komunikasi pemasaran, teknik promosi digital, dan analisis data konsumen. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop yang mencakup sesi teori, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai strategi komunikasi pemasaran, dengan banyak peserta yang berhasil menerapkan teknik baru dalam kampanye pemasaran mereka. Peningkatan terlihat dalam hal visibilitas produk dan interaksi konsumen melalui media sosial. Namun, tantangan seperti perbedaan tingkat kemampuan teknis dan keterbatasan sumber daya juga teridentifikasi. Program ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk membantu peserta dalam mengatasi kendala dan memaksimalkan hasil pemasaran

Abstract

Adequate sanitation infrastructure is a critical component to ensure the environmental sustainability and public health of settlements. This infrastructure must be properly designed, constructed, and maintained to ensure health and the environment. This service aims to provide information about environmentally friendly sanitation techniques to the community. In order to get a data base planning as an effort to manage sustainable sanitation. The method used is by conducting socialisation related to sanitation infrastructure, counselling on clean and healthy lifestyles and verifying the feasibility of settlement sanitation. The results of the socialisation activities showed that the need for sanitation infrastructure in Raba Village is still very much, this is because no one has access to sanitation or wastewater treatment systems that meet technical standards and based on MBR there are still 17, 14 and 11 units that do not have access to sanitation in each hamlet in Raba Village, Wawo Sub-district, Bima Regency.

Abstract

The transformation of student behavior in the contemporary era reflects the complexity of changes in the social structure of society, in line with the theoretical perspective of social anomie. This study explores the implementation of strategies for addressing student delinquency at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Allu by integrating the fields of educational sociology and progressive Islamic educational philosophy. The research adopts a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological-sociological approach over one academic semester, involving 45 participants, including school leadership, educators, counselors, parents, and students. Data collection processes integrate participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, applying triangulation principles. The analytical framework is constructed by combining social bond theory and constructivist paradigms in education. The findings reveal four transformative strategies: (1) Development of a comprehensive character-building program that integrates progressive Islamic values with modern pedagogical approaches, (2) Implementation of a learning consequence system based on social behavior modification theory, (3) Strengthening classroom community groups as mechanisms for social control based on local wisdom, and (4) Revitalization of extracurricular activities aimed at fostering positive character dispositions. Evaluation indicates a 70% reduction in deviant behavior and an 85% increase in engagement in religious and learning activities. The contribution of this research lies in formulating an educational intervention model that harmonizes perspectives from educational sociology, progressive Islamic educational philosophy, and contemporary pedagogical innovations.
