Abstract

This research aims to investigate the increase in learning motivation, learning outcomes, learning activities, and student responses to blended learning on acid-base material through Quipper School. The research subjects of class XI MIA 1 students of SMAN 5 Banda Aceh for the 2021/2022 academic year are even semesters involving 32 students. The data collection technique uses a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were learning outcomes test questions, motivational questionnaire sheets, activity observation sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets.  Analysis of learning motivation data using motivational questionnaires adapted from MSLQ using a likert scale, learning outcomes data using LKPD and tests (pretest-postest), activity data using activity sheets and response data collected through questionnaire sheets. The results showed that there was a change in the previous 63.67%, learning motivation after the blended learning process, the students’ learning motivation became 68,15%, this happened in Quipper School-based blended learning. The average completeness of student learning is 80, including the very high category. The positive response of student to blended learning was 72.2%. The activities of students during blended learning get an average score of 95%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of blended learning can change learning motivation and exceed the KKM of student learning outcomes at SMAN 5 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the STEM approach to improve student learning outcomes in Voltaic Cell learning which was carried out in the form of action research. The research subjects were 27 students in class XII MIPA SMAN 2 Takengon, Central Aceh. The research data was obtained from the competency test at the end of each cycle. Study result data were analyzed using statistical tests (data normality test, Kolmogorov Smirnov), and comparative tests. The results of the student competency test showed that the increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle was better when compared to the previous year's learning outcomes. The test results of the second cycle experienced an increase of 6% when compared to cycle 1. The normality test showed that the data was not normal, so the comparison of the two cycles was tested using nonparametric statistics using the Mann-Witney test. The test results showed that the learning outcomes of students in cycles one and two were significantly different with a significance of 0.003 (P0.05). So it can be concluded that the application of STEM-based learning has been able to improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Takengon on the Voltaic Cell concept.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran program simulasi ekstraksi pelarut dan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada logam lantanida menggunakan ekstraktan 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone berbasis Microsoft Excel, serta menguji kelayakan dan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (RD), dengan tujuh langkah yaitu; (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) uji coba produk, dan (7) revisi produk. Instrumen penilaian terdiri dari angket kelayakan media, angket tanggapan mahasiswa dan angket system usability scale (SUS). Penelitian dilakukan kepada 25 orang mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Media yang diuji coba kepada mahasiswa telah divalidasi oleh validator dengan persen kelayakan sebesar 85,00% dan kategori sangat layak. Respons mahasiswa terhadap media ini sangat baik dengan rata-rata 88,35%, dan skor SUS yang didapat sebesar 85,30 dengan kategori dapat diterima, artinya program simulasi berbasis Microsoft Excel ini dapat digunakan untuk mensimulasi praktikum mengenai ekstraksi pelarut dan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada logam lantanida menggunakan ekstraktan 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone.

Abstract

AbstractThe research, entitled “The Effect of Using Prezi Desktop Learning Media on Students Learning Outcomes on Intermolecular Force Material”, was conducted in class X IPA MAS Ulumul Qur’an Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this study was to analyze the affect of using Prezi learning media on learning outcomes, describe student learning activities and analyze student responses to Prezi learning media applied to intermolecular forces material. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The research instrument used in the form of test questions, student activity observation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. Data analysis using t-test obtained t-count results were greater than t-table using a significant level of 0,05, namely 2,692 1,671, which means accepting Ha. The results of student activity observations obtained from student activity sheets in the experimental class of yhe first meeting were 81,77% in the active category and 96,59 in the very active category at the second meeting. Students responses to the use of Prezi media on is said to very good, with a percentage of 89,9%. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using Prezi learning media on student learning outcomes on intermolecular forces material and can increase student learning activities and obtain a very good response from students on the use of desktop Prezi as a learning medium Keywords: Prezi Desktop, Intermolecular Forces, Learning Media, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The research entitled "Development of Google Slide-Based Interactive Learning Media on Chemistry Subjects in Class X High School Materials on Atomic Structure", has been carried out using Research and Development (RD) research types and the ADDIE model. The purpose of this study is to develop a google slide learning media that is proven to be suitable for use. The google slide-based learning media on atomic structure material was tested for feasibility by expert validators (media and materials) and students of MAS Darussyari'ah, Banda Aceh city. The instrument in this study was a media feasibility questionnaire sheet and student response sheets. The results of data analysis showed that the google slide media was very feasible to use with the percentage of media feasibility validation results of 93%. Students responses to the media showed a positive response with a percentage of 86.37% which was categorized as very good. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Google Slide media is very suitable to be used as a learning medium and received positive responses from students.
