Abstract

Islamic Boarding School or generally called Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) is a community-based educational institution of Islamic religious education that organizes an integrated religious education with other types of education. Ponpes must be able to compete with other general educational institutions by conducting a management. In 2018, Indonesian government issued the accounting guidelines of Ponpes which mainly aimed at empowering economic of Ponpes in order to be able to prepare financial statements. The public volunteers of Economics Faculty of UNNES conducted services at Ponpes Aswaja (Semarang) which had not yet had good financial management. The recording of financial data such as santri’s tuition fee was still manual and the payment recapitulation still used folio books untidily. Consequently, it is difficult to find if the recapitulation is required for accountability. Therefore, it is necessary an integrated financial management system of Ponpes in order to record the financial data properly. The system can also facilitate Ponpes to carry out financial transparency and accountability in accordance with financial accounting standards. The voluntary activities focused on the understanding of Aswaja Ponpes administrators regarding accounting and financial management based on information technology called Sistem Manajemen Keuangan Pondok (Sikepo). The activities were implemented by training and mentoring of administrators based on Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Ponpes administrators were enthusiastic about Sikepo training. Sikepo could improve the understanding of accounting and financial management of Ponpes administrators. Furthermore, the system was then used to record every financial transaction in Ponpes. The final of financial statements were the recapitulation of student tuition fee, the use of funds for daily needs, and other activity reports. This system can also be used in all Ponpes over Indonesia.

The development of information technology (IT) has provided various means for management in managing business and decision-making. Abstract

The results shows that there are changes of social capital of dairy farmers groups in the process of institutionalization of SAMESTA cooperatives. The change is the impact of the conditions of Indonesian dairy. These changes occur in several elements of social capital, as follows: (1) Value, as a guide and reinforcement of farmers’ positive behavior. The existing values among farmers are klangenan (like), titen (scrutinize deeply), honesty, and togetherness. These values become the fuel that forces the farmers to relate each other and realize the more transparent and fairer cooperative. This case shows the influence of cultural values on the farmers’ economic behavior. They calculate inputs and outputs, and make some adjustments to prevent them from losing and calculate the standard number of cows that they have. (2) Trust changes positively, especially by raising the milk price from farmers, although it gives a risk to the cooperative income. This decision is expected to increase the farmers' ethos, thus impacts on the increase of milk production. (3) Networks, in which the relationship between farmers firstly occurs in hamlet area, then it extends the network beyond those limits. Farmers from different villages are connected naturally. This inter-subject's relationship occurs due to the same goals, which are wishes to be more dignified, prosperous, and get fair treatment.

Abstract

In this article I give another meaning of ziarah kubur (visiting tombs) always suggested as animistic way because some scholars always question is it suitable for Islam or not. Specifically I will study the worldview of maduranese muslims perceiving death as represented in oral tradition, called syi’iran (poem). Leaving the dominant World Religion paradigm and analyzing it using Indigenous Religion Paradigm by applying “personhood” concept like scholars who studied Indigenous Religion, it can be seen that there is interpersonal relation between whom alive and dead because the dead still has human attribute Also, it is because they are still interdependent and share each other although one of them was death as represented in the poem. So, it can be concluded that the practice of ziarah is to recontextualize the relation.
