Abstract

The objective of this article is to examine the significance of internal control in an accounting information system. An accounting information system serves as a framework for conducting accounting operations within an organization. A structured accounting information system is the result of the interaction between individuals, instruments, and methods. In the creation of financial reports, accounting information must be guaranteed to be free of errors and fraud, regardless of whether it was intentionally or inadvertently committed. This article employs a descriptive methodology, with library data serving as some of the data sources. The article's conclusion is that financial reports are a method of accountability from management to interested parties. Consequently, the reports that are generated must be of the highest quality and devoid of errors. Internal control is a manifestation of management's endeavor to achieve this objective by utilizing five control elements: control activities, control environment, risk assessment, information and communication, and supervision.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of virtual reality (VR) technology has sparked interest in its potential use in educational settings. This study investigates how virtual reality could enhance learning motivation using a bibliometric analysis of scholarly works published between 2020 and 2024. The primary objectives are to identify significant research trends, notable works, and emerging subjects in the literature. 300 relevant articles were collected from Scopus, which served as the data source. The analysis was done using bibliometric tools such as VOS viewer. The study focused on co-authorship networks, citation patterns, and phrase co-occurrence in order to map the research landscape. The results demonstrate that interest in VR's potential to raise learning motivation is growing, with interdisciplinary collaborations at foreign institutions playing a significant role in this trend. The significance of integrating technology, creating immersive learning environments, and the psychological impacts of virtual reality on student engagement are highlighted in important findings. Despite the positive advancements, accessibility issues and constraints in long-term impact research were discovered. This research contributes to the body of knowledge currently in existence and offers useful information for academics, educators, and policymakers with its in-depth examination of Virtual Reality's effect on educational motivation. More research is required to close the gaps observed to fully realize the potential of virtual reality in education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how legal protection is given to bamboo woven craft businesses whose copyrights have not been registered from a copyright perspective. The problem in this research is related to the existence of a violation of rights committed by other parties who carry out acts of imitation or duplication of woven bamboo crafts in terms of motifs, designs and shapes made by the original owner which are duplicated or imitated by irresponsible parties with the aim of traded without the permission or knowledge of the creator, causing losses to the original creator of the woven bamboo craft. The aim of carrying out this research is to analyze the condition of legal protection for the bamboo woven craft business that occurs in Indonesia. The legal research method used is normative legal research which is carried out by identifying and studying statutory regulations related to Copyright in the issue of providing legal protection in the bamboo woven craft business sector. The approach method used is the legal approach (statue approach) in analyzing existing problems, then the data collected and obtained are processed using qualitative methods. The results of the research are then explained descriptively to provide an overview related to the research results obtained, namely that copyright for works of art and crafts whose copyright ownership has not been registered can still receive legal protection, this is because the copyright of a work attaches automatically to a work created by the creator as long as it has met the requirements as an original work and has been expressed in a concrete form, in which case it has been expressed as a work of woven bamboo craft. However, to obtain stronger legal recognition, bamboo woven works that are developed into bamboo woven craft businesses need to register the copyrighted work.

Abstract

A freezer box temperature monitoring system using solar panels as alternative power is an important technology to ensure the quality of stored products. This research develops a WiFi-based temperature monitoring system that uses a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a PZEM-004T digital sensor, and an ESP8266 module to read and send real-time data to a website platform. Data is collected through a temperature sensor connected to the ESP8266 microcontroller, then displayed on the LCD screen and uploaded to the server for further monitoring via WiFi connection. The results show that this system successfully maintains the freezer box temperature at optimal conditions with an average temperature value of -24.82°C and a temperature range ranging from -28.81°C to -19.63°C. The voltage values are in the range of 197.10 V - 218.70 V, current between 0.02 A - 1.03 A, and power between 158 W - 186.80 W.

Abstract

Puskesmas Manduro is one of the public health service centers located at Jl. Raya Ngoro KM 14, Manduro MG Village, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. As a basic health service center, it is important to monitor air quality and maintain air quality in accordance with the Environmental Quality Standard (SBMKL). This study aims to design an Internet of Things-based air quality detection system that utilizes Sansevieria plants as one of the natural solutions in absorbing air pollution levels. The method used is the research and development method which includes system design, tool making, website design, tool integration, and system testing. The sensors used are MQ-7 sensors for carbon monoxide gas, MQ-135 sensors for nitrogen dioxide gas, MQ-131 sensors for ozone gas, Dust GP2Y1010AU0F sensors for PM2.5, and DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity. The results of testing the system for three days obtained the average temperature 30.64C, humidity 73.62%, CO 735.63 µg/m³. NO2 27.30 µg/m³, O3 32.13 30 µg/m³, and PM2.5 2.14 µg/m³. Based on the test results that have been carried out, it shows that the air quality monitoring system can provide data, graphs, and indicator levels for the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU). Air quality data obtained from sensors can be displayed on the LCD and also displayed in real-time through the website.
