Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Indonesia (JPAII) is a double-blind peer-reviewed education and teacher training journal. Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to find out how to apply the make a match cooperative learning model in memorizing short letters at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah al-Muhajirin, Bitung City. And examine and reveal the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the make a match type cooperative learning model in memorizing short letters at the al-muhajirin madrasah al-muhajirin Bitung City. Methodology: This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a focus on planning and implementing learning and involving class III students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Muhajirin in memorizing short letters. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The indicator of the success of this research is students' mastery of the material according to the stated objectives. Main Findings: The main finding of this research is that the application of the make a match cooperative learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes in memorizing short letters at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah al-Muhajirin, Bitung City. Through the use of question and answer cards in learning sessions, students are more involved and active in understanding the material. Student interaction in groups also encourages collaboration and helps each other in mastering learning content. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in the application of the make a match type cooperative learning model in the context of learning to memorize short letters in the Al-Quran at madrasah ibtidaiyah. This approach can provide a new alternative in improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes in the field of religion, and can be adopted by similar educational institutions to overcome similar obstacles in learning.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects by implementing the Demonstration Method in class VIII in junior high school. Methodology: This research uses a classroom action research approach with two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 28 students in class VIII of junior high school. Data is collected through observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis techniques through the Milles and Huberman interactive model in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification, as well as quantitative analysis techniques with descriptive statistics. Main Findings: The research results show that the application of the Demonstration Method significantly improves student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. At the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of student learning outcomes was 71%. After applying the Demonstration Method, learning outcomes increased to 78% in cycle I. A significant increase occurred in cycle II, where student learning outcomes reached a percentage of 88%. These results indicate that the Demonstration Method is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research contributes to the development of learning methods with a focus on the Demonstration Method in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning. The findings of this research provide empirical evidence that the Demonstration Method can help improve student learning outcomes. The results of this research can be used as a reference for educators, researchers and educational practitioners in designing more effective and interactive learning strategies in facilitating students' understanding of lesson material.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Can find out the process of using the Talking Stick method for learning Islamic Religious Education in parallel classes in junior high school. Apart from that, you can find out the obstacles and solutions to the process of using the Talking Stick method in learning Islamic Religious Education in parallel classes in junior high schools. Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach where data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis is carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Main Findings: The research results show that the process of using the Talking Stick method in learning Islamic Religious Education in parallel classes can run well, even though there are obstacles that can hinder the learning process. These include the schedule for Islamic religious education subjects starting at the last hour of learning, the lack of facilities that support the learning process, the time given to students to read and study the subject matter is only 20 minutes and using the Talking Stick method takes a very long time. when playing sticks. Novelty/Originality of this study: The implication of this research is that educators must be better able to use the Talking Stick method. To comply with the time specified in the learning implementation plan that has been made and so that learning runs according to what is expected. In learning, students need a lot of time to know and understand the lesson material given.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Learning facilities are all the lessons students need in the learning process so that the learning process can run well, but in this research it only focuses on textbook learning facilities. This research aims to determine the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education students in high school using textbooks. Methodology: The type of research used is field research with a qualitative approach, while the research design is qualitative descriptive research. The type of research and data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation to obtain reported values. Main Findings: The results of this research show that the use of Islamic Religious Education learning process textbooks is very effective and the Islamic Religious Education learning achievement of class XI students in high school is in the very good category. Novelty/Originality of this study: The integration of technology such as the use of learning software, educational applications, and interactive hardware in teaching Islamic Religious Education can provide a more interesting and effective learning experience for students. Leverage online resources such as instructional videos, interactive materials, and distance learning platforms to increase accessibility and variety in instruction.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: To determine the effectiveness of peer assessment in assessing spiritual attitudes in Islamic religious education learning in junior high schools. Methodology: The research method uses a qualitative method with descriptive research type, the research sample is an Islamic religious education teacher in junior high school with research instruments in the form of interviews, research analysis using Mileh and Huberman. Main Findings: Peer assessment in assessing spiritual attitudes is said to be effective because it has run according to its duties and functions in making it easy for teachers to evaluate student learning outcomes and train students so that they have skills when carrying out evaluations. Novelty/Originality of this study: Many studies pay attention to cognitive aspects in assessment or learning, but this research highlights the spiritual dimension.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to find out about the Suro one night tradition, especially the earth almsgiving and its influence on the socio-religious life of the community. Methodology: This research adopts a quantitative approach with a phenomenological focus. In this research, the data collection techniques used involved interview and observation instruments. In detailing the findings from data collection, this research applies Milles and Huberman data analysis techniques. Main Findings: The results of observations show that the Suro first night tradition, especially in the context of earth almsgiving, has a significant impact on the social and religious life of the community. From the results of interviews with participants, it was revealed that the Suro first night tradition, especially the earth almsgiving, has a deep meaning for the community. Novelty/Originality of this study: One Suro Night Tradition, deeply rooted in local culture, serves as a unique catalyst in shaping the social and religious fabric of communities. Its profound influence extends beyond traditional practices, resonating within madrasahs, islamic boarding school, and public schools, fostering a harmonious convergence of cultural heritage and modern education.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this research is to determine the art of tambourine as a da'wah strategy in the actualization of Islamic values in Islamic religious education learning. Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The instrument used in data collection was an interview sheet. This research data analysis will use a qualitative data analysis approach by Miles and Huberman which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Main Findings: The results of this research are the integration of local wisdom values, especially through Tambourine Art, in Islamic Religious Education learning which has a positive impact in strengthening students' understanding of local religious and cultural values. Learning that is contextual and relevant to students' lives can make a significant contribution to the formation of strong character rooted in noble religious values. Novelty/Originality of this study: The use of Tambourine Art as a Da'wah Strategy in Islamic Religious Education learning provides a holistic learning approach, combining aspects of art, culture and religion in one container. This can enrich students' learning experience and help them to better understand Islamic teachings as a whole.
