Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between peer conformity and emotional regulation with aggressive tendencies in students. The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there is a positive relationship between peer conformity and aggressiveness. The higher the peer conformity score, the higher the aggressiveness, and vice versa and there is a negative relationship between emotional regulation and aggressiveness. The higher the emotional regulation, the lower the aggressiveness, and vice versa. The subjects in this research were 75 students, including 25 students from Diponegoro University, 25 students from Semarang State University, and 25 students from Semarang University. Likewise, the characteristics of student respondents who have been aggressive, aged 18-25 years. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Research data was collected using three scales, namely the Aggressiveness Scale, Peer Conformity Scale, and Emotion Regulation Scale. Data analysis was carried out using hierarchical correlation analysis. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between peer conformity and emotional regulation and aggressive tendencies with a value of R square = 0.143 and p = 0.004 (p<0.05), so the hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between peer conformity and emotional regulation and aggressive tendencies in student.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of emotion regulation on work stress in employees of the Nutrition Installation of Telogorejo Hospital Semarang using quantitative research methods. The hypothesis proposed in this study is the negative influence between emotional regulation and employee work stress. The higher the emotional regulation, the lower the employee's work stress, and vice versa. The sample was taken as many as 55 employees, with saturated sampling techniques. The research data was collected using two scales, namely the Work Stress Scale and the Emotion Regulation Scale. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test processed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) for Windows Version 20 program. The results showed that there was a negative influence between emotional regulation and employee work stress, with Y = -7.523. Thus, the hypothesis proposed in the study was accepted

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between parenting perception and emotional regulation in regional students of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2020, Semarang University. In this study, the hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between the relationship between parenting perception and emotional regulation in regional students of the Faculty of Psychology, class of 2020, Semarang University. The more positive the perception of parenting in regional students, the higher the emotional regulation in regional students. This research involved regional students of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2020 as research subjects. The data analysis used in this study used the Product Moment Correlation Technique. This research data was collected using two scales, namely the emotion regulation scale and the parenting perception scale. Data analysis was carried out using the person correlation test obtained using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) program version 20. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between parenting and emotional regulation in regional students of the Faculty of Psychology batch 20. With a correlation person = 0.001 with a correlation value of 0.336. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in mothers who have children with special needs at the Klinik Tumbuh Kembang Yamet CDC Semarang. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being in mothers who have children with special needs at the Klinik Tumbuh Kembang Yamet CDC Semarang. The higher the social support, the higher the psychological well-being for 41 mothers who have children with special needs at the Klinik Tumbuh Kembang Yamet CDC Semarang, and vice versa. The respondents in this study were mothers who had children with special needs who were being treated at the Semarang Growth and Development Clinic. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique (simple sampling). The research data was collected using two scales, namely the Psychological Well-Being Dimension in Mothers Who Have Children with Special Needs and the Social Support Scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Product Moment Correlation technique. The results showed that there was a negative relationship between social support and psychological well-being in mothers who had children with special needs with rxy values = -0.507, p = 0.001 (p< 0.01), so the hypothesis in this study was rejected

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-adjustment and happiness in adolescent students at the Asy-Syarifah Mranggen Islamic Boarding School. The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there is a positive relationship between self-adjustment and happiness in the students of the Asy-Syarifah Mranggen Islamic Boarding School. The more adaptive the adjustment, the higher the happiness of the students at the Asy-Syarifah Mranggen Islamic Boarding School, and vice versa. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The characteristics of the respondents in this study were students at the Asy-Syarifah Mranggen Islamic Boarding School with an age range of 12-15 years and a maximum length of stay at the Islamic boarding school of 1 year. Data collection was carried out using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Research data was collected using two scales, namely the Happiness Scale and the Personal Adjustment Scale. The data analysis method was carried out using Product Moment and the results of the research showed that there was a positive relationship between self-adjustment and happiness in the students of the Asy-Syarifah Mranggen Islamic Boarding School and the correlation coefficient value rᵪᵧ = 0.551 with a p value < 0.001 was obtained, so the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
