Abstract

Health development is an effort to increase awareness, willingness and ability to live healthily so as to achieve optimal health status. In creating a healthy life for the community, many things need to be done, including health services. Minimum Service Standards are quality service provisions that are minimally implemented by local governments with a target of achieving 100% SPM annually. This study used a qualitative research method using a case study design (Case Study). This study aims to explore in depth matters related to the currently unachieved indicators of maternal and child health programs in coastal areas. Maternal and child health service programs in coastal communities are very important to improve maternal and child health in the area. Coastal communities often face unique health challenges, such as limited access to health services, poor sanitation, and a high prevalence of communicable diseases. Maternal and child health service programs can help address this challenge by providing access to essential health services, such as prenatal care, delivery services, and postnatal care. These programs can also provide education and support to mothers and families on topics such as nutrition, breastfeeding, and child development.

Abstract

Chronic disease is one of the main causes of death in Indonesia. According to data from the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office for 2019, the prevalence of high blood pressure in Central Tapanuli Regency is 97.71%. Identify the implementation of the Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) in hypertension at the Sipea-Pea Public Health Center. This research is qualitative by using a case study strategy. The research subjects were 18 informants who were selected using a purposive technique. Data analysis was carried out based on inductive logic obtained from in-depth interviews. Qualitative data is presented in the form of narratives and tables. The coverage of prolanis program compliance can be seen from the contact rate indicator that has not been reached by the Sipea-pea Health Center with a contact rate ratio of 108 per mil and an indicator for the ratio of prolanis participants who routinely visit only up to the standard safe zone, namely 69 percent due to lack of socialization regarding prolanis. The health center limits prolanis participation because of doubts in controlling regular visits every month. The health center holds prolanis activities that are not routinely carried out, namely gymnastics and home visits. It is necessary to procure training to improve the skills of officers and update knowledge. Patient compliance needs to increase awareness by carrying out educational activities to the puskesmas area on a regular basis.

Abstract

In adolescence there are many changes and problems, which if not dealt with quickly will become a prolonged problem and have a serious impact. Promotion of reproductive health in adolescents is often connoted as sex education where most Indonesian people still taboo this. Even in formal education institutions at the secondary school level, they are still hesitant to carry out reproductive health counseling to their students. Meanwhile, adolescence is a phase of growth and development when individuals reach the age of 10-19 years. the low knowledge of adolescents about adolescent reproductive health will affect the attitude that will be carried out by adolescents related to adolescent reproductive health. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health among students at SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat. This type of research is an experimental research using pretest and posttest (one group pretest and posttest design). The research subjects were 60 students of grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat, 40 respondents were female, 20 respondents were male, of which 51 respondents were 12 years old, 9 respondents were 13 years old. In this study, based on the test analysis that had been carried out, there was an effect of adolescent reproductive health counseling on the knowledge and attitudes of respondents after the intervention was carried out. The conclusion of this study is the lack of knowledge of adolescents on reproductive health. So it should be held more often reproductive health counseling on adolescents.

Abstract

As much as 15–40% of all plastic that is dumped into the sea will undergo degradation into microplastics. This research was attempted to analyze the content of microplastics on the coast of Padang and to analyze the correlation between microplastic concentrations with pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), temperature, and rainfall. The characteristics of the microplastics analyzed were concentration, color, shape, dimensions, and type of polymer. Illustrations were taken at 9 points with a frequency of 3 times. The concentration of microplastics in the sample is calculated by calculating the number of microplastic particles per unit volume of water or dry sediment mass units. Characteristics of color, shape, and size were analyzed using a microscope, while the type of polymer was analyzed with Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) spectroscopy. The average microplastic concentration in the water illustration is 1.667– 6.667 particles/L and 54.882–84.544 particles/ kilogram in the sediment illustration. The dominant microplastic found was in the form of fiber with a percentage of 95% in the water samples and 79.012% in the sediment samples. The dominant color found is blue with a percentage of 47.619% in the water illustration and 65.432% in the sediment illustration. The most commonly found microplastic size is Large Microplastic (LMP) with a percentage of 76.190% in water samples and 64.198% in sediment samples.

Abstract

Stress can be experienced by anyone, both young adults and the elderly. Gastritis often occurs in adolescents, people who are stressed, who consume alcohol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Stress has a negative effect through neuroendocrine mechanisms on the digestive tract so that it is at risk for experiencing gastritis. .Stress can affect a person's eating patterns and rest periods. This results in hormonal changes in the body and an increase in stomach acid which causes gastritis. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between stress and gastritis. The method was carried out using a literature review method by gathering information from written sources in the form of books, journals and articles. The results of this study are to present four articles related to the relationship between stress events and gastritis. The table shows that stress has a relationship with gastritis. Because stressful conditions that have negative conditions can trigger a recurrence of gastritis.

Abstract

Traumatic brain injury is a mechanical trauma to the head, either directly or indirectly, which causes impaired neurological function, namely physical, cognitive, psychosocial functioning, both temporarily and permanently. Traumatic brain injury is a very complex disease. Currently, there is no effective treatment that can reduce the effects of the primary injury, only therapy that can inhibit its development. Interventions to improve the quality of life of traumatic brain injury patients used to include drug treatment, surgery, and rehabilitation therapy have had poor results. The recent clinical use of stem cells as a possible therapeutic application. Stem cell therapy is used in regenerative medicine to restore damaged neurons. Stem cell is a cell that exhibits a multipotent capacity to differentiate into different cell types and has the capacity for self-renewal. In different preclinical studies, conducted in animal models of traumatic brain injury, stem cell transplantation has led to improvements in several neurological parameters. Mesenchymal stem cell therapy is one of the most potent and attractive options for regenerative therapy of traumatic brain injury. This therapy has shown its potential in clinical aspects. Although there is much basic research on traumatic brain injury, especially on the complex pathophysiology and applicability of stem cell therapy, there are still many issues that need to be resolved to determine the best method for recovery of brain function.
