IMAGIONARY : Jurnal Seni, Desain dan Multimedia is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing articles on all aspects of ART, DESIGN and MULTIMEDIA. IMAGIONARY : Jurnal Seni, Desain dan Multimedia welcomes submissions of the following article types: (1) Papers: reports of high-quality original research with conclusions representing a significant advance, novelty or new finding in the field; (2) Topical Reviews: written by leading researchers in their fields, these articles present the background to and overview of a particular field, and the current state of the art. Abstract

Nowadays, the competition among MSMEs is getting tighter. MSMEs in Padang are competing and building a public image so that their brands and products are known by the public. In Padang, Ulak Karang, there is MSMEs with the Faraz brand. It produces snacks, namely cashew nuts. Faraz MSMEs was founded on February 5, 2006, at the beginning the owner did not have a creative idea to have a visual identity for his business. As a graphic expression, visual identity influences the company's development in the future. Visual identity also acts as a promotional tool for a company/business. The research method uses a qualitative approach method. In this approach, there are 2 sources of data, namely primary data and secondary data. The design of the visual identity of the Faraz brand uses the creative mind mapping method, which is a very common method for finding new ideas, which is based on spontaneity and creativity.

Abstract

Space is the main element in the interior and lighting is one of the important factors in space design. Lighting is also a role of lighting is no longer just to provide lighting but also to highlight the aesthetics and atmosphere of the room, it can even affect the image of the interior and the experience of the individual who is in it. Many types of lighting can be applied to an interior room and it depends on what kind of atmosphere you want to display. This study aims to determine the comfort of visitors based on their experience in retail interiors at Sociolla Paskal 23 Bandung. This qualitative and quantitative research was carried out by conducting surveys, interviews, and distributing questionnaires, and using a spatial experience theory approach. The contribution of this research is to provide knowledge about the importance of lighting as a form of space and about retail interior artificial lighting that can affect one's experience.

Abstract

The development of the times, gradually has an impact on the erosion of Indonesian culture. This is due to foreign influences and the ignorance of the next generation to recognize the culture of each region. In this regard, with regard to culture as a system, one of which is the religious system, which relates to religious ceremonies, and religious objects or buildings, apart from temples, as well as ancient tombs found throughout the world. the land of the archipelago. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the visual analysis on the Royal Mausoleum of Madura Barat at Pesarean Sultan Abdul Kadirun in Bangkalan. This study uses qualitative research that uses several research methods that support and help obtain data effectively such as observation and interview methods. With this method the author can find out the results of research analyzing the shape of the ornaments found in the Jinjing Pesarean Sultan Abdul Kadirun, as conveyed by the resource person that the shape of this tote ornament is like a royal crown which symbolizes the existence of a kingdom, and also the form of flora, namely cassava leaves and flower buds. which means simplicity and fertility.

Abstract

This writing is motivated by the art world today, that contemporary art is an art movement that gives freedom to art connoisseurs and art creators in creating works and assessing beautiful art. Independence which gives freedom to work, both in terms of: concept of work, ideas, visual/visual forms, techniques, character of visual language, freedom of expression, and other freedoms. The purpose of this paper is to find out the results of the analysis of visual forms in contemporary paintings. Where the discussion is focused on the artist Nurali and examines one of his paintings entitled "Jamuan Kerinduan". The results obtained in writing are to examine the visual analysis of the painting using art science and the principles of contemporary art. The conclusion is the result of an analysis by using art science on the principles of contemporary art, the painting "Jamuan Kerinduan" by Nurali and that work, entered into contemporary art which has the freedom to work, both freedom in images/visuals, techniques, concept and so on. Has distinctive features and characteristics according to the concept of its creator. The depiction of marginal creatures/figures, the hallmark of Nurali's depiction is the depiction of humans, which becomes the concept of the work that comes from an understanding of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Discussing the brand of a company, of course, it will begin with a face called a logo. Ancol as one of the companies that focuses on local Indonesian tourism has taken a stand to change its image to the community. With one of his efforts to change the visual appearance of the Ancol logo with a new design. Unfortunately, the results of the hard work of Ancol Public Relations failed to win sympathy from the community. Some people expressed their dislike through a response on twitter. It turned out that the impact of the visual change actually received a negative response from most Indonesians who had had experience visiting Ancol before. This is a formulation of a problem that questions how the picture of the negative response of the Indonesian people to the visualization of the new Ancol Logo and the development efforts of Ancol public relations. Through a qualitative research method approach with the form of case studies that are explored through various mass media reports and progress on existing social media. In the discussion, there was a fact of opinion from a practitioner who stated the discrepancy of the change in the use of the originally colored to monotonous shades of blue. The next hope is that ancol public relations can listen and further develop the Ancol logo to a better form.
