Abstract

This research aims to delve into and analyze Jesus' teachings on leadership in the Gospel of John 10:1-21, with a focus on attitude and responsibility as exemplars of Christian leadership. The research methodology employed includes exegetical analysis to understand the historical and theological context of this passage, as well as interpretive analysis and literature review to gain a deeper understanding. The findings of the research indicate that John 10:1-21 highlights crucial aspects of Christian leadership, including a profound understanding of the flock, self-sacrifice, and openness to the voice and will of God. Jesus, as the Good Shepherd, sets an example of leadership that prioritizes service, protection, and guidance with love. Furthermore, this research also identifies practical implications of these teachings for Christian leaders in the modern context. By applying the principles revealed in John 10:1-21, Christian leaders can serve as role models, inspiring and guiding their flock towards spiritual growth and steadfast fellowship in faith. In conclusion, this research makes a significant contribution to the understanding of Christian leadership based on the teachings of Jesus in John 10:1-21. The findings of this research can serve as a foundation for developing and strengthening Christian leadership in the present-day church and society, with the aim of glorifying God and serving others with love and fidelity.

Abstract

Da'wah is the process of spreading Islamic teachings to mankind, and always using different methods depending on the situation and circumstances. Da'wah is no longer a strange thing in everyday life, because since the time of the Prophet Muhammad it has been recommended and stipulated that humans must preach, even if they only convey one verse. The development of Islamic da'wah always follows the times, therefore for maximum and effective da'wah success various supporting factors are needed, including the correct da'wah method so that the da'wah delivered is on track. The da'wah method is very necessary in the delivery of da'wah so that the da'wah delivered can be accepted and applied easily by mad'u. The type of research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach, namely research in which the data collection method is obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques systematically select data obtained from interviews and documentation.

Abstract

Regina Florist is one of the small and medium industries that is currently widely available. Florist is a term commonly used for the professional flower trade. A florist has duties and responsibilities for the design and creation of flower arrangements. In this reseach, it turns out that Regina Florist is businnes has not calculated the cost of goods sold for the businnes is founded, because the businnes owner does not know how to calculate the of good sold, even though the benefit of calculating COGS is to know accurately how much it cost to produce a product and its function. COGS is so that sellers can know what the basic price is and how much the goods cost in order to make a profit. Profit is the net income obtained by a company by subtracting all cost from gross income. Based on these problems, researchers are interested in conducting reseach on “ Cost of Goods Sold in Increasing Profits at Regina Florist Medan”. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely using interview results and observation results as data collection tools. Then the aim of this research is to find out the types of cost that are calculated in calculating the cost of goods sold and to find out how to increase profits at Regina Florist Medan.

Abstract

This Research is about art of Pandanus webbing that comes as tradition art of Paninggahan at Junjung Sirih sub-district in Solok regency that has been existed since the ancestors. However, its existence is near from extinction nowadays. This research aims to analyze the existence and the development of Paninggahan pandanus webbing and also the products form, patterns, and the procedure of Pandanus webbing of Paninggahan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques that are in accordance with this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research showed that the existence of Paninggahan pandanus webbing is near from extinction, in the process of pandanus becomes staple, colouring process at mansiang, and the tools used in producing the webbing is still traditional. The early product of pandanus webbing is mat/ lapiak. The basic technique of webbing is crossed technique in which one move up and presses other, two move up and press other and so on based on the pattern. The webbing of pandanus is a symbol of Paninggahan women that has occurred since Paninggahan ancestors. its an obligaton to all womans of Paninggahan to do the art of Pandanus webbing as acknowledgement as woman of Paninggahan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of pastoral theology in shaping Christian leadership spirit in the postmodern era, with a focus on the observation of Isaiah 40:1. The postmodern era is characterized by a shift in societal values and worldviews, influencing how Christian leadership can guide and motivate their communities. Isaiah 40:1 provides a rich theological context of comfort and restoration, which can serve as a source of inspiration for Christian leaders to develop relevant and effective leadership spirit amidst the challenges of the postmodern era. The research methodology involves the analysis of the text of Isaiah 40:1 within the context of pastoral theology, employing a holistic hermeneutical approach to grasp the overall message of the text. Additionally, a comparative study of pastoral theology and contemporary Christian leadership literature is conducted to identify principles that can be adopted and applied in the context of the postmodern era. The anticipated outcome of this research is to provide profound insights into how pastoral theology, particularly in the context of Isaiah 40:1, can shape a Christian leadership spirit that is responsive to the changes and challenges in postmodern society. The practical implications of this research include the development of resources and strategies to assist Christian leaders in guiding and motivating their communities in a manner that is both adequate and relevant in the current era.

Abstract

A country's economic development cannot be separated from good and appropriate investment. One effective form of investment is the capital market. The Islamic capital market is expected to be able to realize the main goal of Islamic finance in building economic growth while safeguarding social interests. The Islamic capital market has the benefit of mobilizing money flows from investors or the public to issuers listed on the market. Several criteria for establishing a sharia capital market are establishing fair prices, having perfect information, being free from usury, gharar, gambling and other transactions that conflict with sharia rules. Shares traded on the sharia capital market must come from issuers that meet sharia criteria and bonds issued must use mudarabah, musyarakah, ijarah, istisna' and salam.

Abstract

This study discusses the implications of Christian theology on the concept of human re-creation in the context of the posthuman era. The research is based on a qualitative approach through the analysis of literature that explores classic Christian theological texts as well as contemporary works discussing posthumanism. The aim is to understand how the Christian perspective on modified or enhanced humans interacts with the posthumanist paradigm that increasingly dominates the developments in technology and science today. Through in-depth analysis of theological works, this research identifies that Christian theology faces significant challenges in integrating the concept of posthumanism. While there are potential elements in Christian teachings that can support the idea of human re-creation, there are also points of tension between the Christian view of human dignity and the posthumanist vision of technological progress. This study yields a deeper understanding of the points of convergence and conflict between Christian theology and posthumanism, and provides insights into how Christian teachings can respond to the ethical and moral challenges arising from technological advancements. Through this research, conclusions are drawn that make a significant contribution in exploring the complex interaction between posthumanism and Christian theology, and provide a foundation for further discussion on the role and responsibilities of humans in the evolving posthuman era.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of reconceptualizing Christian theology in response to the challenges posed by the phenomenon of postmodernization and the dynamics of the contemporary era. Through a literature review analysis, this research examines how Christian theology can respond to epistemological, ontological, and ethical shifts occurring in postmodern society. The research encompasses two main focuses. First, it identifies fundamental changes in the paradigm of Christian theological thought as a result of postmodernization. This includes challenges to the authority of sacred scriptures, the role of ecclesiastical tradition, and theological interpretations of contemporary reality. Second, the research analyzes the opportunities emerging from the postmodern and contemporary context for the development of a more inclusive, contextual, and relevant Christian theology. This involves exploring the potential for interfaith dialogue, social ethics, and ecclesiastical ministry in meeting the spiritual and moral needs of today's society. The results of this research are expected to provide profound insights into the dynamics of reconceptualizing Christian theology in the face of complex social and cultural changes. This research also has the potential to contribute to the development of a Christian theology capable of accommodating and empowering individuals and communities in the contemporary era

Abstract

Along with the development of e-commerce that facilitates the shopping process, people are increasingly shopping impulsively without any careful thought. The younger generation who pay great attention to appearance often make purchases of fashion products through e-commerce. Unknowingly, they make purchases without adequate planning and consideration. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-kontrol and impulsive buying behavior in Psychology students at Satya Wacana Christian University when shopping for fashion at Shopee. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Participants in this study amounted to 103 participants with purposive sampling method. The results showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,762 with a significance value of = 0,000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a significant negative relationship between impulse buying and self-kontrol. This shows that the greater the self-kontrol, the lower the tendency for impulse buying. Conversely, if self-kontrol is low, then the tendency for impulsive buying is higher.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Christian theology on the dynamics of family relationships and how it shapes the values embraced by family members. This literature review combines detailed analysis of relevant Christian teachings and principles in the context of everyday family life. The significance of parental roles in shaping Christian values is also emphasized in this research. The responsibilities of parents as spiritual leaders and role models are identified as key factors in establishing the foundation of religious values within the family. Additionally, this study examines the role of family prayer and worship in reinforcing Christian values. Contemporary challenges are also explored in this context, with a focus on how modern culture, technology, and environmental factors impact the formation of Christian values within the family. Practical strategies and approaches to address these challenges are also presented. Through the analysis of current literature and relevant case studies, this research provides profound insights into how Christian theology influences the dynamics of family relationships and forms fundamental values for Christian family members. This study offers practical recommendations for Christian families to strengthen and uphold religious values in their daily lives.
