Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan perkawinan pada pasangan yang belum memiliki anak. Partsipan penelitian yaitu 2 pasangan suami-istri yang belum memiliki anak dan tidak mengadopsi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua pasangan partisipan, merasakan kepuasan perkawinan meskipun belum memiliki anak.Kata Kunci: kepuasan perkawinan pada pasangan yang belum memiliki anak Abstract. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that influence marital satisfaction in couples who have not had children. Partsipan research that two couples who do not have children and do not adopt children. This study uses a qualitative method. The results showed that both pairs of participants, marital satisfaction despite not having children.Keywords : marital satisfaction in couples who have not had children

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of PECS on verbal communication skills of adolescent tunagrahita and test the difference of anxiety verbal communication adolescent tunagrahita based on gender. Experimental design for verbal communication skills used Analysis of Covariance with Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) based on 6 phases of pre and post-test. The subjects of this research were seven elementary students. Data collection used the Measure of Elementary Communication Apprehension (MECA) questionnaire and be analyzed using Covariance Analysis, verbal communication anxiety pre, and post-test analyzed by Wilxocon and the difference verbal communication anxiety by sex analyzed by Mann Whitney U. The results of this study show that PECS can improve verbal communication skills and affect verbal communication anxiety in elementary school adolescent with intellectual disability and also differ based on sexAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh PECS terhadap keterampilan kemampuan komunikasi verbal remaja tunagrahita dan menguji perbedaan kecemasan komunikasi verbal remaja tunagrahita berdasar jenis kelamin. Desain eksperimen untuk data keterampilan komunikasi verbal menggunakan analisis Dwi Ragam dengan rancangan dasar RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) berdasarkan enam tahapan pra dan paska uji. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak tujuh siswa SD. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Measure of Elementary Communication Apprehension (MECA) selanjutnya menggunakan Analisis Dwi Ragam, uji perbedaan kecemasan komunikasi verbal pra dan paska uji menggunakan uji Wilxocon dan uji perbedaan kecemasan komunikasi verbal berdasar jenis kelamin menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U. Hasil yang ditemukan PECS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi verbal dan juga kecemasan komunikasi verbal pada remaja tunagrahita jenjang SD berdasar jenis kelamin.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between loneliness and selfie-liking. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between loneliness and selfie-liking among college students. This research used correlational quantitative methods. Participants in this research was 64 students, which was taken by purposive sampling technique, with inclusive criteria: like to do selfie and in the last month post the selfie photos to social media as much as 4-6 times. Data were collected using the Loneliness Scale from UCLA Version 3 and selfie-liking measured by Selfie-Liking Scale.  The correlation was analyzed using the Spearman Correlation Test with SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed there was a positive and significant relationship between loneliness and self-liking (r=.297; p=.009) which means the higher loneliness, the higher selfie-liking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of self-esteem and hardiness on successful aging in the elderly who live alone. This research is a quantitative study with 142 participants who lived alone (at least living with a partner, not with children) in 6 cities in Central Java, which were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained using Successful Aging Scale (Rowe and Kahn), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg) and Short Hardiness Scale (Bartone). The results of this study indicate that simultaneous self-esteem and hardiness as predictors of successful aging in elderly people who live alone (minimum life with a partner, not with children), seen from the obtained Fcount value of 35.963 and Ftable of 2.670 (Fcount > Ftable) and a significance value of 0,000 (p <0,05). That is, this study provides practical implications, namely when the elderly who live alone have high self-esteem and hardiness, it will affect the high successful aging of the elderly in their old age.

Abstract

Academic stress can now be found among vocational students, but this can be overcome by facilitating Parental Social Support, Peer Social Support and Emotional Intelligence. The purpose of this study is to prove Parental Social Support, Peer Social Support with Emotional Intelligence as a predictor of Academic Stress. The subjects in this study were 150 students of SMK Negeri 1 Kedung and the method of data collection in this study was psychological scale. Data analysis using multiple linear regression statistical techniques, all calculations using SPSS version 20.0. The results of data analysis obtained the simultaneous value of R between Parental Social Support, Peer Social Support and Emotional Intelligence towards Academic Stress was 0.321 and F value = 12.420 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a simultaneous influence between parental social support, peer social support and emotional intelligence on academic stress and also obtained R Square value of 0.103, which means that parental social support, peer social support and emotional intelligence together contribute 10.3% academic stress, the rest is influenced by other factors

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 97 siswa dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling purposive. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala Bullying yang mengacu pada FBS (The Forms of Bullying Scale) oleh Shaw,dkk (2013) dan Skala Pola Asuh Otoriter yang mengacu pada Authoritarian Parenting Scale oleh Robinson,dkk (1995). Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson’s product moment. Koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh sebesar = 0,184 dengan nilai signifikansi = 0,036 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan resiliensi dengan work engagement pada karyawan produksi bagian cutting di PT. Argo Manunggal Triasta Salatiga. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada korelasi positif signifikan antara resiliensi dengan work engagement pada karyawan produksi bagian cutting. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan produksi bagian cutting di PT. Argo Manunggal Triasta Salatiga sebanyak 81 karyawan. Pengumpulan data di lakukan dengan skala resiliensi dan skala work engagement. Analisis data menggunakan metode korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara resiliensi dengan work engagement dengan nilai r = 0,732 dan signifikansi = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Artinya semakin tinggi resiliensi maka semakin tinggi work engagement yang di miliki pada karyawan produksi bagian cutting di PT. Argo Manunggal Triasta Salatiga.

Abstract

Basically, every elderly can achieve successful aging in his old age, depending on the number of factors influencing it, such as self-esteem factors. Successful aging will indirectly be influenced by these factors. Therefore, this research aims to find out if there is a relationship between self-esteem with successful aging in elderly. This type of research was taken using quantitative research methods with saturated sample models. The samples in this study amounted to 50 people aged 60-80 years. The results showed that the results of the correlation coefficient (r) =-0.064 with a Sig value of 0.329 p > 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between self-esteem and successful aging in elderly. Keywords: Self Esteem, successful aging, elderly

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: firstly, to determine the effect of Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) on the verbal communication skills of senior high school adolescent with intellectual disability; secondly, to determine the verbal communication apprehension in of senior high school adolescents with intellectual disability before and after PECS treatment; thirdly, to determine the difference verbal communication apprehension of senior high school adolescents with intellectual disability as revealed by sexes. Experimental design for verbal communication skills used Analysis of Covariance with Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) based on six phases of pre- and post-test. Senior high school student from class X-XII (n = 13) became sample of this research. Questionnaire used was in the form of the Measure of Elementary Commu-nication Apprehension (MECA) questionnaire while the data analysis used Analysis Cova-riance for verbal communication skill, t-paired test for verbal communication apprehension, and verbal communication apprehension between sex were analyzed by t-test with a 5% level of significance. The results showed that: (1) PECS can improve the verbal communication skills between phases of PECS with the effectiveness as follows: 105.14%, 18.49%, and 43.11%; (2) PECS have not affected the verbal communication apprehension of senior high school adolescents with intellectual disability (tcale = - 0.305 < ttable = - 1.771); and (3) There is no significant differences in verbal communication apprehension of senior high school adolescents with intellectual disability based on sexes (tcale = 0.232 < ttable = 2.342).

Abstract

Raising the age of life expectancy has its impact on the increasing number of elderly people, and it is expected that they can achieve successful aging including those who are in low economic status and still working. The aim of this quantitative research is to examine the effect of daily activities and hardiness simultaneously toward successful aging of elderly people in low economic status who are still working. The research participants were 120 elderly people who lived in Central Java (Salatiga, Semarang, Surakarta, Magelang, Pekalongan, and Tegal) with the characteristic aged of 60 and over, communicative, and they were willing to be participants.
