Abstract

This article aims to describe and reveal the existence of Mak Yong Mask Performing Arts as a Tourist Attraction on Mantang Island. Mak Yong mask is a traditional performing art of the Malay community which consists of a combination of ritual elements, performing arts, dance, music creation and singing. This show has been recognized by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) as an intangible cultural heritage belonging to a group of three countries, namely Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Mak Yong's mask on Mantang Island itself has a characteristic that is the use of masks as its property. Qualitative research methods are carried out using interview, observation, and literature studies. The Sociological Dance approach is used to examine the social role of society in the development of the performing arts itself. The results of the discussion in this study indicate the development of the performing arts of Makyong masks on the island of Mantang as an indicator of the existence of performing arts, one of the important aspects and has a relationship with government efforts in developing the tourism sector. The function of performing arts as a tourist attraction is packaged in the form of cultural tourism.

Abstract

Globalization has positive implications with ease through the development of technology. In line with technological developments, this also has an impact on the regeneration of farmers where young people no longer choose farming jobs. This problem was communicated by Farhan Apriadhi Ghazaly through the dance work of Gig Bebegig. This study uses a qualitative method that is described descriptively through the semiotic analysis of Charles S. Peirce and a socio-cultural perspective. The results of this study reveal the Representament-Object-Interpretant from wardrobe, music, property, and dance scenes, as well as see through a socio-cultural perspective.

Abstract

Leave from perspective Immanuel Kant about morality, study this aim for identify the moral values in the Gambiranom dance that deserve to be guided to bring life to life return values moral which has faded. Discourse analysis methodology with approach Qualitative research in this study is used to understand the symbolic messages contained in the text something discourse. Discourse which meant in study this is dance Gambiranom. Collection data done through Interview, observation, studies References, and studies documentation. The data analysis technique used the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. This research produce two data main research, namely Hasta Sawanda dance Gambiranom and shape Gambiranom dance presentation. These data produce an interpretation of Hasta Sawanda in the Gambiranom dance as good will according to the perspective of Immanuel Kant's moral values, and the form of presenting the Gambiranom dance as an act rightly according to the perspective of Immanuel's moral values Kant. From the two data, it produces a good value (praiseworthy) which is then gives birth to the highest good (summum bonum). The highest good is obtained by a dancer if has carry out the action which correct (act rightly) and intention which good (good will) according to the rules of classical Javanese dance style Surakarta is a condition where dancers are successful merged himself into the full character of Irawan's character. So that connoisseurs/viewers don't again see dancer as personal dancer but character Raden Irawan or King Gambiranom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the religious value of the Rampak Bedug Dance as a training material in the Sanggar Fragrant Sari. The object of this research is Rampak Bedug Dance. This research is focused on problems related to Religious Values in Rampak Bedug Dance. This study uses a descriptive research methodology through a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were the manager of the Harum Sari studio, trainees and musicians. The data collection technique used is triangulation of data derived from observations, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The description of this research discusses dance movements, dance accompaniment, fashion, dance properties, and floor patterns. From the data that has been obtained, interpreted according to Koentjaraningrat's theory into 5 discussions, namely 1) religious emotions, 2) belief systems, 3) rites and ceremonies system, 4) rites and ceremonies equipment, 5) religious people. Based on the data obtained, it is concluded that the Rampak Bedug dance in Sanggar Harum Sari contains religious values which refer to the 5 religious components of Koentjaraningrat. Abstract

This article raises the issue of the packaging model of the performing arts creative industry which is based on the mapping of the archipelago's cultural arts. This model is structured to find appropriate technology in packaging the creative industry of performing arts which is gathered from various ethnic groups in the archipelago which is expected to be used as a harmonious multicultural-based political policy strategy. In particular, the targeted target is to create creative industry products for performing arts thematically, both in the form of presenting performing arts directly on stage or packaged in video form. The research method used is the Research and Development method which is carried out in multi years for 3 years. The first year's research is exploratory to map the cultural arts of the archipelago based on the theme and presentation model. The second year of research resulted in a creative industry model for the performing arts that was compiled based on the mapping of the archipelago's cultural arts that was useful for establishing a multicultural-based political policy strategy. Meanwhile, in the third year, the performance art creative industry model was tested to determine the effectiveness of the model that had been compiled. Based on this research, it can be concluded that Indonesia's cultural diversity is a resource that can be used as capital in the creative arts industry as well as the basis for determining multicultural-based political policy strategies. Given the importance of the substance of this research, it is hoped that every element of society realizes, appreciates and manages traditional dance well so that the welfare of life increases, social harmonization is built, and political stability can be maintained.
