Abstract

The influence of advertising hyperreality on the consumptive lifestyle of Dayak Taman teenagers is an interesting phenomenon to research. In Jean Baudrillard's thinking, hyperreality refers to a condition where the representation of the real world becomes more important than the reality of authenticity itself. Advertising, as a form of representation, has a significant role in shaping consumptive lifestyles. In this study, the author analyzes how advertisements influence the consumptive behavior of Dayak Taman teenagers in Jopo Village. The author found that advertisements create images that exaggerate certain products and lifestyles. Taman Dayak teenagers who are exposed to advertisements tend to follow the consumption trends displayed in advertisements, even if it does not always match their needs. An understanding of hyperreality and Jean Baudrillard's thinking helps us understand why advertising has such a strong impact on consumptive lifestyles. This research provides insights into how advertising can influence teenagers and lead them to overconsumption. Therefore, there needs to be awareness and criticism of advertisements so that teenagers can make wiser consumption decisions.

Abstract

The focus of this paper is to find the meaning of the relationship between “I” and “Thou” according to Martin Buber's perspective. According to Martin Buber, the I and Thou relationship is a path to self-wholeness through an encounter. The encounter of “I” and “Thou” is based on a dialog to reveal deep meaning towards authentic self-knowledge. Encounter is a daily activity of individual human beings who involve themselves in the shared experience of others, because humans are basically relational beings who are constantly in dialog. Dialogue bridges the interpretation of meaning between “I” and “Thou” based on complete self-disclosure. The presence of “I” and “Thou” is not interpreted as subject-object, but an equal subject in a relational frame. In contrast to I-It, the subject-object relationship, cornering, alienating the other. Here the subject-object relationship is instrumental, thus threatening, intimidating, discriminating the others. The I-It relationship is only objective and separate in a control that gives rise to manipulation. The personalization of the self wants to display the unique sensuality of the I as an equal subject in the presence of other subjects. The encounter between “I” and “Thou” forms a complex experience towards a deep understanding of human existence. The findings of this research are that a dialog deepens the relationship between “I” and “Thou” towards a perfect self. Through dialog, “I” can understand others more deeply and comprehensively. Here, the role of “I” as a subject is very decisive as a personalization of self with the others.

Abstract

Green eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is one of the horticultural products classified as a vegetable with high water and dietary fiber content but low calories, as it contains calcium, protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins A, B, and C, phosphorus, and iron. The development of agriculture using red-yellow podzolic soil as a planting medium for eggplants faces several challenges, particularly due to the poor physical and chemical properties of the soil. Efforts to improve the condition of red-yellow podzolic soil (RYP) to make it suitable for the growth and development of eggplants include adding organic matter to the soil. The organic material can be provided in the form of solid organic fertilizer.This study aims to evaluate the effect of solid organic fertilizer on RYP soil for green eggplant growth and to determine the optimal frequency of solid organic fertilizer application on RYP soil for green eggplant growth. The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of different solid fertilizer doses (X): X0 (control, no treatment), X1 (100 g/plant), X2 (200 g/plant), X3 (300 g/plant), and X4 (400 g/plant). The observed variables included plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), number of fruits, and fruit weight (g). The application of solid organic fertilizer yielded positive results for green eggplant production.

Abstract

The purpose of this Final Paper is to find out how to control the supply of raw materials at Resto Niswa, to find out the problems of controlling raw material supplies at Resto Niswa. The object of this research is Resto Niswa. The research method uses a Quantitative Descriptive method. From the results of the study it was concluded that raw material inventory control using the EOQ and POQ methods can minimize inventory costs and the frequency of ordering raw materials, where the EOQ method produces raw material inventories with a quantity of 12,857 Kg and a total inventory of RP. 13,509,949 with 7 frequency orders. Meanwhile, according to the POQ method, it produces a total inventory of 3,390 kg of raw materials with an ordering frequency of 2 times and a total inventory of Rp. 3,562,027. To Simplify inventory calculations, you can use the POM – QM application for windows.

Abstract

This study was conducted to see if the dialect continum phenomenon is also present happened in Sarawak. The language that is the focus of the study is the Bidayuh language, especially the Bidayuh Biatah dialect and subdialects spoken in  the Padawan area, Sarawak. The research methodology that has been used  in  this study is, research field by interviewing 12 informants from three villages which are different, as well as corpus data, by using a word list book. This study will analyze and discuss the differences in terms of semantics ie focusing on synonyms, hyponyms, as well as homophones and phonological differences that is, focusing on the dropping and diftongong found in each village This research has indirectly proved and supports the opinion of how the distance factor plays an important role which causes the  emergence of many dialects and subdialects in a language.

Abstract

Puisi modern China, sebagai genre sastra yang penting, merangkumi karya puitis dari akhir Dinasti Qing (akhir abad ke-19) hingga waktu kini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meneroka ekspresi dan refleksi kemanusiaan dalam puisi modern China. Dengan metodologi psikologi sastra dan kajian literatur perbandingan, penulis memilih beberapa penyair China modern dan menganalisis karya berkaitan secara mendalam, termasuk Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Xu Zhimo, Bei Dao, Yu Guangzhong, Shu Ting, Gu Cheng dan Hai Zi, boleh mendedahkan keberbagaian gaya dan ketelitian mengindahkan dalam puisi modern China sementara itu menyatakan dan merenung sifat kemanusiaan.
