Abstract

An important information system to help distribute information to users who have access in real time. The use of the system can help institutions to introduce institutional profiles. The information system for the Animal Husbandry study program has not been built independently, so there are obstacles in distributing information to users or the public. An institutional web profile system specifically for the Animal Husbandry study program is needed in order to increase the interest and trust of community users to join the Animal Husbandry study program and institutional users get regular information. The system is designed and built using the waterfall method. The Animal Husbandry study program web profile system is designed using the UML model. The system was successfully built independently to introduce an institutional profile specifically for the Animal Husbandry study program. With an independent system, it helps to distribute directly validated Animal Husbandry study program information. Study programs can also maximize the system to improve performance and quality. The system is implemented for users and system testing is carried out using a black box, all interfaces that have been tested with 6 activities, namely having no problems or in accordance with current user needs

Abstract

The implementation of the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) algorithm on smart barcodes aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in recognizing and tracking product data. In this context, barcodes serve as visual representations containing crucial product information. The LVQ algorithm is employed to optimize the classification and matching processes of barcode data with precise references. Through repeated training, this algorithm adapts learning vectors to better recognize barcode variations. In this study, researchers analyze the impact of LVQ algorithm implementation on smart barcode systems concerning identification accuracy, computational efficiency, and adaptability to changes. Experimental results demonstrate the significant benefits of applying barcodes to inventory systems in overall stock management and business efficiency. By utilizing barcode technology, the processes of tracking and recording product data become faster, more accurate, and automated. Barcode usage minimizes human errors, optimizes time, and reduces operational costs. By combining the intelligence of the LVQ algorithm with the potential of barcodes, this research illustrates a crucial advancement in the technology integration domain for the development of more sophisticated and effective systems

Abstract

This study presents the design and development of a grinding machine based on the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizing NodeMCU ESP8266. The primary objective of this project is to integrate IoT technology into the grinding machine to enhance control, monitoring, and grinding process efficiency. By using NodeMCU ESP8266 as the microcontroller connected to a WiFi network, the grinding machine can be accessed and remotely controlled through devices connected to the internet. Users can access this platform to monitor the machine's condition and control it as needed. In this research, the focus is on circuit design, software development, and overall system integration. The testing results are performed by sending commands to start the DC motor, monitoring the DC motor's speed value, monitoring the grinding status, lid closure button, and reset button. The testing results indicate that this IoT-based grinding machine provides better control, real-time monitoring, and efficiency in the grinding process. Thus, this research portrays a successful implementation of IoT in the machinery industry, opening opportunities for further development in this field

Abstract

The current era's development directs us to understand data security better. Vital documents such as family cards often become subjects of forgery. Therefore, we must be capable of safeguarding the confidentiality of our data. This issue can be addressed through watermarking methods. Watermarking is a technique that can be used to embed information into an image. A digital image represents a machine-captured approximation of an image based on sampling and quantization. The image utilized here employs QR Code, which represents the evolution of one-dimensional barcodes into two-dimensional forms. This study employs the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) algorithm. This algorithm converts data from spatial form by segmenting images into sub-parts with varying frequencies. The application of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method in watermarking the QR Code on birth certificates has significantly contributed to the security and authentication of the document. Throughout this implementation, DCT has proven to be an effective tool for embedding additional information into birth certificate images without compromising the integrity of the main information. However, it should be noted that the use of DCT can also impact the visual quality of the image. Thus, parameter adjustments are necessary to strike the right balance between security and visual aesthetics.

Abstract

Societal activities are intertwined with traffic, and people prefer using vehicles. The lack of education and limited understanding of traffic regulations have led to numerous violations. The increasing number of traffic violations has resulted in a rise in traffic violation data. The abundance of traffic violation data has led to data accumulation within institutions. Therefore, data processing through data mining utilizing the K-Means Algorithm is deemed necessary. Research findings have unveiled a cluster of traffic violation data that stands out as the highest and most frequent during processing: the age group of 17 to 25 years, involving Honda Vario 150 vehicles, and evidence of violations related to driver's licenses (SIM) and vehicle registration certificates (STNK). Test results on three clusters from a dataset of 502 traffic violation records reveal the following: Cluster 1 comprises traffic violation data pertaining to individuals aged 26 to 45 years, using Honda CBR 250 vehicles, and violations tied to driver's licenses (SIM) and vehicle registration certificates (STNK). Cluster 2 includes traffic violation data concerning individuals aged 26 to 45 years, utilizing Suzuki Nex vehicles, and violations involving driver's licenses (SIM) as well as carrying more than one passenger.
