Abstract

Under conditions that determine whether an apple is good or not, the human eye tends to have a subjective perception due to the color composition factor. Errors often occur because it is done manually. Therefore we need a tool with a system that can choose apples automatically based on their type. So we need a system that can identify the ripeness of apples by implementing SSD-Mobilenet. The purpose of this research is to identify the types of apples using SSD-MobileNet. From the results of the analysis and testing it can be concluded that the test results on data testing with lots of data, namely 50 datasets taken randomly produce an accuracy of 82% and an error of 18%. The number of errors indicates that the classification results are not completely accurate. This can happen due to the lack of training data so that only a few dominant terms are used, causing errors in course costs. However, the results of this accuracy can be used as a reference that assistance using SSD-Mobilenet provides a high value of 82%. So this method can be used to analyze the ripeness of apples.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method at PT Telkom Akses. The system design process is carried out using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) to determine the necessary design steps. The system development involves programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with a SQL database for data storage. The RAD method is utilized in the design phase, which consists of three main steps: planning, design, and implementation. The research findings indicate that the web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE has no significant impact on the performance of asset monitoring at PT Telkom Akses. Despite PT Telkom Akses having its own Approval system application, there are still several shortcomings, including an unattractive interface. This study contributes to the development of a web-based Information System for Approval Dismentling NTE using the RAD method. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the NTE dismentling approval process at PT.Telkom Akses. Improvements that can be made to the system include refining the interface to make it more appealing and addressing other existing deficiencies.

Abstract

The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, and the sampling technique employed is Stratified Random Sampling. The research sample consists of students from class X TKRO-1 as the experimental group and class X TKRO-2 as the control group, with 32 students in each group. The experimental group received treatment in the form of inquiry training-based learning using digital modules, while the control group underwent conventional learning. The research instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items with 5 answer choices. The results of the study showed that the average score of the experimental group was 81.09, while the average score of the control group was 70.63. Significance testing with a significance level of α 0.05 (5%) indicated that the obtained t-test value was significant (2-tailed), which was 0.00, with the students' learning outcomes being less than 0.05. Therefore, Ha was accepted, indicating a significant difference in mathematical ability between students who applied the inquiry training learning model and those who applied the conventional learning model

Abstract

The application of lecture method as a teaching approach has been proven to be one of the factors contributing to low student grades. This is because the lecture method still revolves around the teacher as the primary source of information without actively involving the students. To address this issue, the solution is to implement Project Based Learning as a teaching method. This research utilized a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consisted of X TKJ class students. Samples were selected using purposive sampling technique, with X TKJ 1 as the experimental group and X TKJ 2 as the control group. Data collection was conducted through tests and observations. Data analysis was performed using t-test and standardized gain test. Based on the research findings, there was a significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental group, with an increase of 78.74 categorized as high. Meanwhile, the control group showed a lower improvement in learning outcomes, with an increase of 28.33 categorized as low. Therefore, it can be concluded that students in X TKJ class, who were taught Jaringan Dasar subject using the Project Based Learning method with Cisco Packet Tracer as the media, exhibited higher improvement in learning outcomes compared to students taught with the lecture method.

Abstract

In the 4.0 revolution era, technological developments are developing very fast. The security system is also growing, so that it can be implemented in various needs. One of them is a smart home system that can be monitored without limits using a smartphone. Currently CCTV is one of the security tools that are widely used at home, office, and others. There are also many CCTVs available that are digital, so the images are clearer and can be connected directly to the internet. The internet used also does not require a connection that is too fast but must be stable. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the home security system can use digital CCTV connected to the internet. CCTV that is connected to the internet can be monitored using a smartphone anytime and anywhere. The storage capacity used is 32 Gb and can store recordings for 9 days non-stop. The disadvantage of this system is that if the internet is unstable, playback will be interrupted, because the playback system used is directly accessed from CCTV

Abstract

An important information system to help distribute information to users who have access in real time. The use of the system can help institutions to introduce institutional profiles. The information system for the Animal Husbandry study program has not been built independently, so there are obstacles in distributing information to users or the public. An institutional web profile system specifically for the Animal Husbandry study program is needed in order to increase the interest and trust of community users to join the Animal Husbandry study program and institutional users get regular information. The system is designed and built using the waterfall method. The Animal Husbandry study program web profile system is designed using the UML model. The system was successfully built independently to introduce an institutional profile specifically for the Animal Husbandry study program. With an independent system, it helps to distribute directly validated Animal Husbandry study program information. Study programs can also maximize the system to improve performance and quality. The system is implemented for users and system testing is carried out using a black box, all interfaces that have been tested with 6 activities, namely having no problems or in accordance with current user needs

Abstract

The implementation of the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) algorithm on smart barcodes aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in recognizing and tracking product data. In this context, barcodes serve as visual representations containing crucial product information. The LVQ algorithm is employed to optimize the classification and matching processes of barcode data with precise references. Through repeated training, this algorithm adapts learning vectors to better recognize barcode variations. In this study, researchers analyze the impact of LVQ algorithm implementation on smart barcode systems concerning identification accuracy, computational efficiency, and adaptability to changes. Experimental results demonstrate the significant benefits of applying barcodes to inventory systems in overall stock management and business efficiency. By utilizing barcode technology, the processes of tracking and recording product data become faster, more accurate, and automated. Barcode usage minimizes human errors, optimizes time, and reduces operational costs. By combining the intelligence of the LVQ algorithm with the potential of barcodes, this research illustrates a crucial advancement in the technology integration domain for the development of more sophisticated and effective systems

Abstract

This study presents the design and development of a grinding machine based on the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizing NodeMCU ESP8266. The primary objective of this project is to integrate IoT technology into the grinding machine to enhance control, monitoring, and grinding process efficiency. By using NodeMCU ESP8266 as the microcontroller connected to a WiFi network, the grinding machine can be accessed and remotely controlled through devices connected to the internet. Users can access this platform to monitor the machine's condition and control it as needed. In this research, the focus is on circuit design, software development, and overall system integration. The testing results are performed by sending commands to start the DC motor, monitoring the DC motor's speed value, monitoring the grinding status, lid closure button, and reset button. The testing results indicate that this IoT-based grinding machine provides better control, real-time monitoring, and efficiency in the grinding process. Thus, this research portrays a successful implementation of IoT in the machinery industry, opening opportunities for further development in this field

Abstract

Medical record is a record of the history of patients who take treatment in hospitals or clinics. RSU Sylvani has many patients, every month and makes patient history data accumulate in the medical record data, but there is no follow-up benefit from the available data. Even though these data have great potential to provide new information and valuable insights if explored with data mining using the k-means clustering method. The amount of data that was tested was 893 data and produced 4 groups from the variables of disease diagnosis, gender and address. Where group 1 totaled 268 data with a diagnosis center for hypertension and female gender at the Pepper Garden address. Group 2 totaled 289 data with a diagnosis center for Asthma and female gender at the Hero's address. Group 3 totaled 185 data with GERD disease diagnosis center and male gender at Kebun Pepper address. group 4 totaling 151 data with a diagnosis center for Prostate Enlargement disease and male sex at Kebun Pepper address.

Abstract

The current era's development directs us to understand data security better. Vital documents such as family cards often become subjects of forgery. Therefore, we must be capable of safeguarding the confidentiality of our data. This issue can be addressed through watermarking methods. Watermarking is a technique that can be used to embed information into an image. A digital image represents a machine-captured approximation of an image based on sampling and quantization. The image utilized here employs QR Code, which represents the evolution of one-dimensional barcodes into two-dimensional forms. This study employs the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) algorithm. This algorithm converts data from spatial form by segmenting images into sub-parts with varying frequencies. The application of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method in watermarking the QR Code on birth certificates has significantly contributed to the security and authentication of the document. Throughout this implementation, DCT has proven to be an effective tool for embedding additional information into birth certificate images without compromising the integrity of the main information. However, it should be noted that the use of DCT can also impact the visual quality of the image. Thus, parameter adjustments are necessary to strike the right balance between security and visual aesthetics.
