Abstract

Land waqf in Indonesia continues to grow, but there are waqf lands that are unproductive because they are located in not strategic areas, so there is a need for Ibdal or Istibdal Waqf but, there are differences of opinion from some Muslim scholars regarding Ibdal or Istibdal. So, there is a need for sentiment analysis to find out sentiment on topic of Ibdal or Istibdal. The method of this study is a descriptive statistical analysis method combined with meta-analysis and sentiment analysis of secondary data in the metadata of 44 publications from Dimension from 2010-2022, processed using Microsoft Excel 2016 and SentiStrength software. The results of the research sentiment analysis regarding Istibdal Waqf are positive 9%, Neutral 45%, and Negative 46%. The author found research on istibdal Waqf from year to year has increased. The results of this study indicate that there is negative sentiment regarding Istibdal Waqf, indicating that literacy regarding support for Istibdal waqf is still low so massive socialization is needed for the community or to Nazhir as the waqf manager. The power of laws and technical guidelines that regulate Istibdal are also needed by the Nazirs so that the flow of execution is easier, to create optimal waqf land.

Abstract

This paper aims to assess the social impact of the Hafidzpreneur scholarship program organized by the Riau Provincial government using Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis as its main approach. A qualitative approach has been applied to better understand the impacts associated with these projects, while in-depth interviews have been the main tool in data collection. The results of the SROI analysis yielded a ratio of 1:4.2, reflecting that each unit investment of Rp 1 generates a social impact and value of Rp 4.2. This finding reflects the significant positive impact of the program in creating social value that covers multiple dimensions, including financial, social, and spiritual aspects. The findings also suggest that the use of the SROI approach and qualitative methods has provided an in-depth understanding of the impact of the holistic development projects of the Hafidzpreneur scholarship program provided by the Riau Provincial government. The results of this study have strong implications in designing, managing, and measuring the impact of similar programs in the future, as well as in enhancing a broader understanding of the social value generated by organizations for sustainable development.

Abstract

This paper aims to observe the evolution of research focusing on Pesantren and sustainable development issues published in various journals around the world. The method used is a qualitative approach with bibliometric analysis using R software. The data used are secondary data related to the theme "Pesantren and sustainable development" obtained from the Dimensions database. A total of 57 documents covering the period from 2001 to October 2023 were used in the analysis. The results showed that the trend in the number of documents examining Pesantren and sustainable development issues tends to increase, reaching its peak in 2023 with a total of 15 documents. In addition, the number of articles published per year and the average citations per year are also relatively low, indicating a lack of attention to this topic in the academic world. However, Pesantren practices in order to support sustainable development continue to be intensively carried out, especially in Indonesia. This is done through various mechanisms such as empowering productive waqf for Pesantren as an economic development strategy, empowering MSMEs and entrepreneurship in communities around Pesantren, eco-Pesantren as an effort to contribute to environmental preservation, and developing santripreneurs and Pesantren entrepreneurship.
