Abstract

Advances in science and technology that have an impact on the environment resulting in increasing human awareness of the condition of the environment, for example in the selection and use of environmentally friendly products. This requires businesses to apply the concept of environmental concerns in their business process, including the entire supply chain. Green supply chain management is a concept that integrates environmental thinking into supply chain management, which includes product design, procurement and selection of raw materials, manufacturing processes, delivery of final products to consumers, in addition reverse products used by consumers. This study aims to measure the performance of Green Supply Chain Management in the supply chain of a manufacturing industry. Performance measurement was conducted on the two main processes, namely the design of performance measurement model and weighting and scoring performance. This study uses a Green SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model to design the measurement model and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to determine its weight. There are 16 KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) identified for use in performance measurement. Value performance indicators obtained for each aspect are as follows: Plan for 68, Source of 66.54, Make amounted to 58.89, Delivery of 32.80, and Return As much as 56.85. Referring to the model that is created, the value of the overall supply chain performance amounted at 60.13. Under the statutes of the company, the value is considered sufficient because it includes criteria for good performance, but it was on the threshold between good and bad categories. Continuous improvement in the supply chain by using a model Green SCOR will improve the company's performance, enhance corporate image and ultimately promote environmental sustainability for the future of mankind.

Abstract

There must be a lot of factors influence human muscle strength, both internal and external aspects. This study considers three main factors thought to affect human muscle strength, which are: muscle contraction, types of hand, and also gender. There are also covariance variables that are used, e.g. BMI and physical activity. Strength of biceps, forearms and trapezius muscles were measured using experimental design approach, among individuals with range of aged 19-24 years. Based on the calculation, all factors are proven to have significant correlation at significance level 0f 0.05. In addition, BMI and activity also has a relationship with muscle strength.Using all these factors, regression linear model was built to predict muscle strength. Additionally, maximum lifting strength was also estimated based on predicted muscle strength. Based on internal validity using paired t-test, the result show that predicted muscle strength and maximum lifting force have no difference to measured ones

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that produces X shoes. To meet customer needs, it is necessary to design an effective and efficient production line. The problem experienced by the company is that the production target has not been achieved, which is 80 pairs per hour. The daily output that is achieved is less than the predetermined production target, so it is necessary to analyze the line balance. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the causes of not achieving production targets, to determine the value of line efficiency, balanced delay, and smoothness index for each method and to get the right proposal for the company. The research was conducted by describing precedence diagrams and collecting time data from each work element then testing and calculating the standard time, following which line balancing was carried out using the Ranked Positional Weight and Moodie-young. From the calculation results, the results obtained a better line balance using the Moodie-young method, namely, an increase in line efficiency by 27.45% from 57.67% to 85.12%, a decrease in balanced delay by 25.09% from 39.97%. to 14.88%, and a decrease in the smoothness index of 39.55 from 62.62 to 23.08. In addition, there was a decrease in the number of operators working by 2 people, from 16 operators to 14 operators and a reduction in the existing work stations (SK) by 4 SK, from 12 SK to 8 SK.
