Abstract

There are many ways to improve learning outcomes, where one of the methods used is the demonstration method, if most of the teaching material is only delivered in verbal language so that it is sometimes difficult for students to understand, then with the demonstration method the explanation becomes easier for students to understand. The method used is qualitative with a class action model. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of Civics class 2 students at SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 01 Jakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a two-round action research with each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, action and observation, reflection, and review. The subjects of this study were grade 2 students at SD N Utan Kayu Selatan 01 Jakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year whose student learning outcomes increased from Cycle I to Cycle II. Cycle I (51%) and Cycle II (89%). This study found that the demonstration method had a good effect on student learning outcomes at SD N Utan Kayu Selatan 01 East Jakarta and this learning method could be used as an alternative to civics learning.

Abstract

This paper concludes that the bilingual approach for teaching English in Indonesian universities is most effective, and the content and language integrated learning (CLIL) approach is particularly suitable. CLIL offers benefits such as the use of the first language to aid comprehension and identification of target language forms, connections to learners' previous knowledge, and improvements in self-confidence and motivation. Focused-form instruction (FFI) can be included in CLIL, which encourages attention to both meaning and language. The CLIL approach is therefore recommended for maximizing teaching effectiveness and learner benefits in the Indonesian university context.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the imposition of import taxes and import duties for training aircraft procurement and its implications for thehigh cost of education at Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug and Aero Flyer Institute in 2017-2020. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, documents and triangulation, so that the researcher can draw conclusions. The conclusion of import taxes imposition and import duties has a high influence in determining the high cost of flight schools. With the high cost of flight schools, it will affect people's interest in becoming a pilot. However, this is a burden that must be borne by the educational institution itself which in the end causes the high cost of pilot school to be charged to prospective pilot students. The imposition of import taxes includes Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, Income Tax and VAT because aircraft training are subject to these three tax components. These three components cause the high cost of pilot school. In this case, the government must immediately review the taxation policy for the procurement of aircraft training and educational institutions must also cooperate with various airline operators both at home and abroad to attract pilot graduates and this will increase the interest of the Indonesian people to become professional and reliable pilots.

Abstract

The growing complexity of educational and professional challenges highlights the need for multidisciplinary approaches in higher education. This review synthesizes recent evidence on their integration, effectiveness, and challenges across diverse contexts. Literature was systematically retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar using keywords such as multidisciplinary education, interdisciplinary learning, transdisciplinary approaches, educational practice, and collaborative learning. Inclusion criteria focused on peer-reviewed studies within the last fifteen years that examined multidisciplinary design, implementation, or outcomes. Findings revealed that integrative models such as problem-based learning and co-teaching significantly enhanced students’ problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Digital technologies, including Virtual Reality and Learning Analytics, were shown to facilitate experiential learning and provide data-driven feedback, although disparities in access limited their global applicability. In health education, multidisciplinary teams improved clinical competence and interpersonal collaboration, while systemic barriers such as rigid institutional frameworks, insufficient resources, and cultural hierarchies constrained wider adoption, particularly in developing contexts. Policy frameworks and institutional leadership were identified as key enabling factors, with European models offering examples of effective integration. Despite these advances, gaps remain in longitudinal research and comparative cross-national studies. The review concludes that deliberate policy reforms, investment in infrastructure, and faculty development are necessary to overcome barriers and fully realize the transformative potential of multidisciplinary education.
