Abstract

The development of tiramite mushrooms in Indonesia encounters difficulties in sustaining ideal temperature and humidity levels, particularly due to erratic climate variations.  This study utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to resolve these challenges by creating an automated, real-time system for monitoring and controlling temperature and humidity at JJ Srister Mushroom.  The Research & Development (R&D) methodology employing a prototyping approach facilitates ongoing testing and enhancement of the system.  This system employs DHT22 sensors and interfaces with a web page and control box for real-time monitoring.  Test results indicate that the system effectively regulates temperature and humidity within suitable parameters for the growth phases of mycelium and mushroom fruit bodies, maintaining temperatures of 22-28°C and humidity levels of 80-90% during the mycelium phase, and temperatures of 16-25°C with humidity levels of 90-95% during the fruit body phase.  The authors assert that this IoT system offers significant advantages and advocate for further investigation to enhance sensor precision and develop a mobile application as a supplementary monitoring tool.

Abstract

This study presents the development and testing of an IoT-based temperature and humidity management system designed for mushroom cultivation. The system effectively utilizes a DHT sensor and a scheduling mechanism to monitor and control environmental conditions. Key findings reveal that the IoT-based control system allows mushroom farmers to access real-time data through a user-friendly web interface and control unit, facilitating immediate adjustments to optimize growth conditions. Testing confirmed the system's capability to maintain essential temperature and humidity levels: 22–28°C and 80–90% during mycelium development and 16–25°C and 90–95% during the fruiting body stage. These controlled conditions significantly enhance mushroom growth and productivity compared to traditional cultivation methods. The implementation of this IoT-based system not only improves the quality and yield of mushroom production but also increases operational efficiency for farmers. By integrating modern technology into agricultural practices, this study demonstrates the potential of IoT to transform conventional farming approaches into more effective and sustainable operations.

Abstract

This study examines the inefficiencies encountered by a training institution in Bandung Regency that utilizes a manual handwritten ledger for managing diverse data, including student information, teacher records, class details, student learning progress, and grades.  The current technique results in considerable delays in information retrieval, as perusing physical data is often time-intensive.  Moreover, producing reports for institutional control becomes burdensome, eliciting apprehensions of data accuracy, potential harm, or loss of vital information.  To address these challenges, we created a course information system utilizing the CodeIgniter framework.  The study utilized a descriptive methodology, and the system development applied Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts.  We employed Unified Modelling Language (UML) methodologies during the software design process.  The newly created course information system aims to streamline user data management and enhance the efficiency of recording operations for all participants, including administrators and educators.  The digitization of information management decreases retrieval times and enhances data accuracy and security, consequently promoting improved decision-making and reporting within the institution.

Abstract

Law practice in Bandung provides professional legal consultation services characterized by high competence and integrity.  It aspires to establish itself as a reliable law firm for both Indonesian and foreign populations, addressing their needs and concerns.  This law firm in Bandung encounters the issue of insufficient online access to legal service information, necessitating clients to visit the office for consultations.  Moreover, the scheduling of consultations and payment processing remain manual, rendering the procedure laborious and inefficient.  An alternative option is presented to address these difficulties by deploying a dependable computerized system.  This study seeks to establish a legal consultation service utilizing Information Technology (IT).  The system is web-based, developed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 3 framework, and utilizes MySQL as its database management system.  The author utilizes Object-Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD) in this research methodology.

Abstract

XYZ University, which relies on servers for administrative and academic functions, continues to employ manual temperature monitoring through physical site visits to the server locations.  This method presents a risk of delayed response to temperature fluctuations, which could lead to operational issues and data loss.  This project aims to establish a real-time temperature monitoring system for server rooms, utilizing IoT and employing the HTTP protocol for communication.  The evaluation concentrates on assessing the latency of the HTTP protocol and the dimensions of data packets to verify the system's efficacy in real-time monitoring.  The deployment of this intelligent monitoring system is expected to enhance the effectiveness of temperature regulation in server rooms and reduce the risk of damage from overheating.  The research findings demonstrate that combining IoT with the HTTP protocol yields a more efficient, anticipatory, and sustainable temperature monitoring solution.  Recommendations for future development include the integration of additional protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP (Constrained Application Protocol), or WebSocket.
