Abstract

The issue of gender equality is an issue that occurs in society. In certain societies gender discrimination does not seem to be a problem, even though it actually causes problems. Through this research, researchers examine the issue of gender equality in Indonesia. A theological research approach was used to address the issue of gender equality. The researcher found that the image of God in Genesis 1:26-28 is blurred by cultural factors. The image of God is to declare that human beings are the existence that reveals the form of God. Therefore, the presence of humans as the image of God implies that humans are the image of God who also inherits the attributes of God. Thus, men and women are in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, acts of gender discrimination are not feasible. Humans should not ignore each other as a perfect unity in God's creation. This is because God made men and women in His image and likeness.

Abstract

The development of social media as a digital platform cannot be separated from daily human activities. However, this development not only has a positive impact but also has a negative influence on some people, especially teenagers. All stakeholders, especially families and churches, must have the responsibility and become navigators to direct and fill self-identity in adolescents based on the values of the Word of God. This research seeks to explore the influence of digital platforms, namely social media, on adolescent identity crises. The method used in this research is a quantitative method through distributing questionnaires to teenagers aged 12-17 years from junior high school to high school. The results found that on average these teenagers spend five hours a day connected to social media. The author found that the significant value of using social media such as TikTok, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook on behavior is 0.63> 0.05, meaning it is not significant. Likewise, social media on emotions and trust values.  This research aims to motivate teenagers to use digital platforms properly and beneficially for everyone.

Abstract

This paper reviews the gift of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. The method used in writing this topic is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The role and function of the Holy Spirit based on 1 Corinthians 12: 1-11 is to enlighten believers in preaching the gospel. The purpose of the gift of the Holy Spirit is to help in the ministry of the Digital Church and to show that the power of God is more dominant than the powers of the universe. In preaching the gospel, the function of the gifts of the Holy Spirit has a very important role. Preaching the Gospel is the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, and the responsibility of believers. The purpose of this paper is to explain how the gifts of the spirit function in the ministry of the church in digital. In 1 Corinthians 12: 1-11 the Apostle Paul further explains how about healing in the church? In 1 Corinthians 12 there is an answer from Paul to the Corinthians' question about the gifts of the Spirit. There are various kinds of gifts: the gift of healing, the gift of prophecy, the gift of discernment of spirits, and the gift of tongues. These gifts are given for the purpose of assisting, helping and facilitating the ministry of preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Abstract

Domestic Violence (KDRT) can happen anywhere and to anyone, including the congregation. The research objectives to be achieved from this study are to describe the role of the church in congregational domestic violence victims and to describe the study of pastoral counseling for victims of domestic violence. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. In writing this research the author wants to explain the role of the church in the congregation to help victims of domestic violence, with several forms that the church does, namely: first: paying attention to victims and visiting victims in giving care in the sense of hearing complaints and strengthening and providing input that can help a victim (pastoral counseling). Second: providing assistance in the form of medical treatment and psychological (mental) treatment. So the role of the church is also to help victims of domestic violence that can happen to the congregation, and the church can build a Christian family based on belief in Jesus Christ.

Abstract

This article discusses the discipleship principle in Acts 2:42 for the spiritual growth of the church today as seen in the output in Acts 2:47. This study aims to explain the principles of discipleship that are relevant for the spiritual growth of the church today, by studying the principles found in Acts. Researchers use qualitative research methods and a biblical approach. This principle focuses on the apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer as means of deepening understanding of Christ's doctrine. The guiding principles used by followers of Jesus Christ at that time included several important elements. First, the direct teaching of the apostles became the main foundation of learning. This emphasizes the importance of having teachers who provide proper teaching. Second, fellowship becomes an important element in learning. Followers of Christ learn from others through discussion, brainstorming, and helping each other understand the doctrine of Christ. Third, breaking bread becomes a significant learning method. During this activity, followers of Christ discuss and deepen their understanding of Christ's doctrine. This activity creates strong social bonds between members of the congregation and allows for mutual strengthening in faith.  Fourth, prayer is an important aspect of this learning method. Followers of Christ learn through prayer and strengthen faith through prayer together.
