Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of the Window Shopping learning model in school inscreasing student geography learning activities at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The low learning activity of student in learning, especially in geography subjects in class XI IPS at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This research was conducted in order to find out the results of the influence of the Window Shopping learning model which is expected tobe able to increase student learning activities in geography subjects. This research method is quantitative. The type of research is quasi experiment. The technique used in sampling is random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheet which was carried out during the geography lesson. The population is all students of class XI IPS at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru for the 2022/2023 academic year. The samples taken were class XI IPS 2 as an experimental class with 35 students. The results showed that the hypothesis was accepted, which means that the geography learning activities of the experimental group using the Window Shopping learning model were more able to increase students geography learning activities compared to the geography learning activities in the control group using conventional methods.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between social attitudes and responsibility towards the results  of studying geography in Class XI SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. In particular, this study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between social attitudes and responsibility towards the results of studying geography in class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. The population in this study were geography students of Class XI at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh, which consisted of 67 students. Data collection techniques are documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression test and Spearman Rank correlation test. The relationship between social attitudes and learning outcomes is equal to 0.02. The relationship between responsibility and learning outcomes is -0.14. Based on the value of the relationship, social attitudes and responsibility with learning outcomes have a very weak relationship. Based on the results of processing and discussion, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between social attitudes and responsibility for geography learning outcomes for Class XI SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the CORE type cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media on learning outcomes in hydrofer material at SMA Negri 5 Banda Aceh. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study were all students of class X IS SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, taken from class X IS 3 (experimental class) of 29 students and class X IS 2 (control class) of 29 students. Data collection techniques by giving tests to students, namely pre-test and post-test. Data processing techniques using the t test. The results of data processing obtained tcount = 5.12 and ttable = 1.67. According to the test criteria, Ha is accepted if tcount > ttable at a significance level of 5% and dk = (n1 + n2 – 2). Based on the calculation results obtained tcount > ttable or 5.12 > 1.67 it can be stated that Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the CORE type cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media on learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh

Abstract

Flipped Classroom Model is a model in which teaching and learning activities are not carried out as usual. Before carrying out learning activities at school, students are given materials to study at home using Padlet platform. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of the use of Flipped Classroom model on the understanding of Atmosphere in Geography lessons. This research uses True Experiment Design with technique Randomized Subject Sampling, Control Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population in this study were all tenth grade of social science (X IPS) students at Senior High School 2 Dayun, amounting to 68 students, and the sample used is class X IPS 1, amounting to 22 students and X IPS 2 totaling 22 students. The hypothesis test used in this study was the t-test, the results of the study obtained an average post-test score of the experiment class X IPS 2 of 85.54, while the average post-test score of the control class X IPS 1 was 77.00. Based on the data analysis on the t-test, the value of tcount = 6.187 and t table = 1.682. Because tcount is greater than ttable, there is a significant effect of using Flipped Classroom learning model assissted on Padlet Platform.

Abstract

This research aims to see a comparison of the analytical abilities of students in class X using problem solving and problem posing learning models. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. Based on the research results, it was found that the comparison of the analytical abilities of students in the experimental class 1 class obtained an average of 75.76, experimental 2 obtained an average of 80.47, while the control class obtained an average of 71.41. Based on the results of the hypothesis that has been carried out, it is found that the Sig of experiment class 1 and control is .019, experiment 2 and control is .000 and experiment 1 and experiment 2 is .009 which is <0.05 which is significant which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these three classes, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of students' analytical abilities where the problem posing learning model has a higher average than the problem solving learning model.
