Abstract

This research has two objectives. The first objective is to analyze the impact of seven fundamentalfactors (Dividend Payout, asset growth, leverage, liquidity, asset size, earnings variability,accounting beta) to the bussiness risk. Bussiness risk are measured by using SingleIndex Model (Beta) and four lag and four lead Fowler and Rorke Method (Corrected Beta).The sample was taken by using purposive sampling method. the taken sample consist of 37companies. The research period devide in two sub period : before crisis Period (1992 up to1996) and after crisis period (1997 up to 2001). The research result show that from the sevenfactors assumed to influence on beta, there are four factors which partially show positive influencein before crisis period : Dividend Payout, liquidity, asset size, earnings variability, andthere are six factors : Dividend Payout, asset growth, leverage, liquidity, asset size, accountingbeta in after crisis period. The other result show that from seven factors assumed to influenceon the corrected beta, there are five factors which partially show positive influence inbefore crisis period : Dividend Payout, asset growth, liquidity, asset size, earnings variabilityon before crisis period, and Five factors too: Dividend Payout, leverage, liquidity, asset size,accounting beta in after crisis period. The result on the Chow test indicated that the effect offundamental factor on bussiness risk are significantly different between before crisis periodand after crisis period.Keywords : Dividend Payout, Asset Growth, Leverage, Liquidity, Single Index Model

Abstract

The research tries to know impact insider ownership and Debt Policy to stock return. Theresearch objects are the company that was registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in2005 until 2008 that announce dividend. The sampling method is purposive sampling methodand it can find 13 sample companies that announce dividend. Hypothetical testing methodis Multistage Regression with the significance level 0,05. The results shows there is no significantimpact insider ownership and Debt Policy to Devidend Policy. Abstract

Accounting information is used by potential users, especially Investors to make necessaryeconomic decision. Earning and cash flow are some of the measure that show a firms successfulmanagement. Earning is useful for measuring a firms performance,and the cash flowinformation key measure of liquidity. Accounting information is not yet one of the fundamentalanalysis tools for trading in Indonesian Capital Market However, accounting information isnecessary for making important decisions in capital market. The objective of this study is toexamine the association of the information content of independent variables total cash flows,components of cash flows, and accounting income with stock price or stock return.As much 29 firms listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) were taken as a sample using purposivesampling method. Data from audited financial statements in year 2006 and 2007 weretaken from Indo-exchange files. The statistic method used to test hypothesis is a liner multipleregression Two models were considered: levels and return models.The statistical result of this shows that accounting income, cash flows and components ofcash flows are significantly associated with stock price in levels model, in contrast,the resultof this study shows that all independent variables (total cash flows, components of cashflows,and accounting income) are not associated with stock return in return model, exceptcash flows operation is significantly associated with stock return.Keywords : Information content, Cash Flows, Component of cash flows, Levels model, Return model

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of spiritual leadership, organizationalcommunication on work’s satisfaction, organizational commitment and work performance ofofficial at Telkom company. The total of this sample study is 100 officials at Telkom Company.The hypothesis is tested by using AMOS Ver.5.0 to get the result of causalities relationbetween developed variable on the model. The result of statistic analysis by using structuralmodel is showing the result of the effect the spiritual leadership gives positive and significantinfluence directly on organizational commitment. The spiritual leadership has no influence onwork satisfaction and work performance. The organizational communication has no influenceon work satisfaction and organizational performance. The organizational communication hasinfluence on work performance. The effect of work satisfaction gives positive and significantinfluence on organizational commitment. The work satisfaction has no influence on work performance.The result of this study to show that organizational commitment influence on performance.Keyword : Spiritual Leadership, Organizational Cummunication, Work Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to investigate the effect of perception’s service quality, and priceon satisfaction and customer’s loyalty at Shariah life insurance in Central Java Province. Thepopulation are Shariah life insurance staff The respondents are chosen by using accidentalsampling techniques. The data collected from 140 respondents and analysed by statisticaltool of structural equation modeling (SEM). The result showed that : First, perception of servicequality produced a positive significant impact on satisfaction. Second, satisfaction waspositive and significantly associated with customer’s loyalty. Third, the service quality was directlyrelated to customer’s loyalty, but the effect of service quality on customer’s loyalty morethan satisfaction as intervening variable with estimate value 0,767 if compared the directlyrelated service quality on loyalty, with value 0,277 Theoretical found that the conventionalServQual is a part from Shariah insurance study, the Shariah insurance as an alternative forcustomer will be faithful to the religion norm in accordance with Shariah principles. The empiricalfound that as Shariah insurance customers, the customers have already executed thereligion norm in accordance with Al.Quran at An-Nisa:9. Studies found that the society’s Interestto buy Shariah life insurance policy and the insurance commitment to the risk protectingare low, finally the society commitment toward life insurance decreases.Key words : Service Quality/Khidmah, with The Syar’I Satisfaction/Qona’ah and Customer’sLoyalty/Al-wala’

Abstract

This study, aims to examine empirically, the best possible relationship among variables oforganizational transformation, competitive advantage and performance. The research objectis the state owned enterprise (SOE’s) privatization in Indonesian. The analysis unit relatedto the research method, involves a company while the respondents occupied by the primarymanager.The method used for testing the empirical model is the Structural Equation Model onPartial Least Square. The strategic finding, taken from this research,implies in ways of achievingperformances. This reserch aimed to give theory implication on concept Resource BasedView will be meaningfull to create competitive advantage. Besides,the result gives managerialimplications that to improve performance need increasing organizational transformation toincrease competitive advantage. Creating competitive advantage can achive through directrole of organizational transformation. Related to the government policy, the government shouldattention resource in enterprises to become competitiveness as as mediating for successfultransformation organizational to increase performance. Abstract

The problems which are faced by Garuda’s Flight Company are the competitive of Garuda’sservices, under the industry standard of service quality, the low productivity of employee, andthe weak of information management. Moreover, the load factor, on time performing and operationalincome does not meet the target. The respondents are 150 persons and the samplingbased on the hair sample measures. The sampling method is random sampling, namely thatonly people who are chosen by the researcher will become respondent, not all people, andQuestioner is used as a method of collecting data. Method of data analyses used structuralequation modal program which is operated through AMOS Program. The outcome researchshow the following estimation parameter between reliance and service quality produce hassignificant influence. concern and service quality has significant influence, guarantee andservice quality has significant influence. empathy and service quality has significant influence,substances and service quality has significant influence. The last estimation of parameterbetween service quality and satisfaction product is also significant influence, in where hisresult also shows that hypothesis is acceptable. Based on the outcome research above, suggestionswill be given are: The Company has to keep accuracy both departing and arrivingtime, in addition, it should respond all complains from consumer, the rest, it ought to keep agood image on consumer.Keywords : Marketing, Service Quality, Satisfaction, Consumer

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to proof that internal and external factor, entrepreneur skilland ethos are influence to the strategy which applied in the UKM of Kabupaten Semarangsimultaneously and partially. Micro entrepreneur has great potency in the national and localeconomic according to this free market period. However, it is ethos and competition still inthe low level. The main cause of this problem come up from environmental exertion factor,among them are internal and external factor also the entrepreneur skill. In order to solve thisproblem need an accurate strategy to survive. This research purposed to study the influenceof external and internal environment, entrepreneur skill and ethos on the micro entrepreneurstrategy in Kabupaten Semarang. A causal research has been done on 60 micro entrepreneursthrough four dependent variables and one independent variable using SPSS. The resultshown that internal and external factor, entrepreneur skill and ethos has significant influencedon the strategy that applied by the micro entrepreneur in Kabupaten Semarang partially orsimultaneously.Keyword : Performance, Entrepreneur Skill, Strategy, Invironment Factor.

Abstract

This research is study the process which influence the relationship development (marketing)based on commitment. The excellence of continual competitive from company can do with thelong-range cooperation relationship. In this cooperation relationship, the role of commitmentis very importance. Research in Juwana indicate that trust is the primary factor in courseof development of long-range marketing cooperation commitment. Trust is influenced bysatisfaction and communications. Type of research is explanatory research, population inthis research is all of cutomer. Technique used in this research is census so all of populationwill be sampel. Technic analysis used in this research is equation model of structural byPartial Least Square ( PLS). Communications and satisfaction have an influence to trust thensatisfaction and communications also have an influence on directly to commitment.
