Abstract

The purposes of reserach are to creat the effectiveness and efficiency of pubic services. So It need increase of good government governance innovation with support from strategic human resources management empowerment and good information technology. The research population is all of government official in Demak City. The samples are choosed by used random sampling. To test data is used Metode Path analysis (SEM) as quantitaive analyse and qualitative analyse. We got 60 respondents from 10 government official in Demak city. Based on the data analyse, we can note that all of variable in this research (meaning, competence,self determination, locus of control, impact dan good governance) effect positive significanly on Government offical performance. While variable of teknologi informasi is not effect significantly on Government offical performance.Keywords: Good Governance, information Technology, Public service and Government offical performance

Abstract

Competitive rivalry in business world demand the company for thinking how the way company take adapt with kaleidoscopic environment. The company must think that employees must feel enjoy with the job and their work environment so they get the best performance. Because of human resources is the most valuable asset so the company must be responsible to keep quality of work life. It’s not only quality of work life but also commitment of organization and job satisfaction need to be noticed for raising employees’ performance. In unit of production of Suara Merdeka Semarang, quality of work life, commitment of organization and job satisfaction need to be noticed. The objectives of the research is to describe and analyze the influence ofquality of work life towards job performance, to describe and analyze the influence of quality of work life towards employees commitment of organization, to describe and analyze the influence of commitment of organization towards employees’ performance, to describe and analyze the influence of job satisfaction towards employees’ performance. This research is explanatory research. The population of this research is the entire of unit of production of Suara Merdeka employees, the number of total sampling is 69 people using definite criteria such as the minimum work period is 5 years and the age of the employees is 25 years old. The kind of data is primary with using data collection method is questionnaires. Analysis instrument that areused in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this research is quality of the work life has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. It means that if quality of work life is increased, employees’ performance is increased too. Quality of work life has positive effect and significance towards commitment of organization. It means that if quality of work life is increased, commitment of organization is increased too. Quality of work life has positive effect and significance towards job satisfaction. It means that if quality of work life isincreased, job satisfaction is increased too. Commitment of organization has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. It means that if commitment of organization is increased, employees’ performance is increased too. Job satisfaction has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the correlation between the application of the principles of corporate governance (fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsibility) with earnings management in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2012 and gives an overview of how the implementation of corporate governanceini can reduce management actions profits made by the company manager. This study used secondary data from publicly traded companies nonlembagakeuangan ever survey of corporate governance followed PerceptionIndex 2009 to 2012 conducted by The IndonesianInstitute for Corporate Governance(IICG). Tests carried out using correlation test. Tests conducted for 2011-2012 and combined in 2011 and 2012. Wherewith Test results show that in general, the application of the principles of governance goodcorporate not guarantee the absence of earnings management yangdilakukan by the company. .Keywords: agency theory, earnings management, corporate governance, corporate nonfinancial institutions, and correlation test

Abstract

This study is intended to improve the competitiveness of SMEs are becoming increasingly important due to the demands of the most buyer Internaional SMEs in the supply chain . This study will discuss the most innovative technology and institutional innovation model of development of SMEs in the supply chain . Technological innovations in the form of intelectual capital development and use of information technology systems approach intensification and diversification of institutional development in the supply chain. The population in this study wasthe entire industry and SMEs in Semarang district of approximately 2,000 SMEs . The sampling frame of this study is that SMEs in the district and the city of Semarang , while respondents in this study are the owner or manager of SME . The amount of sample used in this study were 100 respondents ( SMEs ) . Sampling was purposive sampling method is directed to managers or owners of SMEs by considering sample selection on the formal SMEs . The approach used is descriptive analysis to determine the form of the development of technological innovation that uses a systems approach to supply chain enterprises and institutions adopted SMEs ,Research results show that the Intellectual Capital and Technological Innovation Information Technology significantly influence , while the influence of technology Invasion seignifikan to institutional partnership and competitiveness.Keywords : Intellectual Capital, Information Technology , Technology Innovation , institutional partnerships and Competitiveness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze companies value on manufacture companies which is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2010. There are many factors which influenced companies value like investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policy, structure ownership (managerial and institusional). The population included in manufacture companies for four years. Sampling using a purposive sampling method and obtained 128 samples that meet the criteria and free from outliers. The data was analyzed by multiple regression. The results showed investment decisions, funding decisions, institusional ownership structure and significant positive effect on firm value. But for the dividend policy, structure of managerial ownership has negative effect and not significant on firm value.Keywords : investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policy, structure ownership, firm value.

Abstract

Dimensions of social capital described everything that makes people allied to achieve a common goal based on unity, and bounded by the values and norms that grow and obeyed, as well as the social relations inherent in social structures and social networks in a community that creates wide range of social obligations, creating a climate of mutual trust, bring information channels, and establish norms and social sanctions for members of the community (Coleman , 1999). However, Fukuyama ( 2000) says that not necessarily the norms and shared values are guided by reference behave, act, and behave it automatically becomes social capital. However, only the norms and shared values based on trust. Where trust is build from expectations, honesty, and cooperative behavior emerging from within a community based on shared norms shared by its members. The population consisted of tobacco farmers, community leaders, and government officials from eight districts and rural villages are selected as samples. While the number of respondents were 104 people , consisting of 80 tobacco farmers, 16 community leaders, 16 of the village, sub-district and 2 devices. Variables research includes the study of economic, socialcultural, demographic, tobacco farmers, and the effectiveness of social capital. Data collection using focus group discussions ( FGD ) with the respondent, and field observations. The results showed that the values of trust in social capital is dominant as the basis for rural communities to be used as based on improvement of other functions, such as increased respect and mutual benefit. Problems in the optimization problem concerning the nature of social capital, human resource issues, and management issues. The main problems to optimize the role of social capital in rural areas need the support of various stakeholders, and the demands of rural communities regarding the importance of mentoring programs to improve the competence of rural communities by improving farming skills, and improve agricultural diversification. In addition, the need for transformational leadership support to improve the optimization of the role of social capital .Keywords : social capital, welfare, transformational leadership, mentoring

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of intellectual capital disclosure and institutional ownership to the level of underpricing in Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Indonesian Stock Exchange. It is argued that the higher the intelectual capital disclosure the lower the level of underpricing. While because of assymmtric informatian, another argumentation is that institutional ownership influence underpricing. The sample in this study are company’s IPO in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2007-2011. The sample are selected using purposive sampling method. The hypotheses are tested by running regression models. Thedependent variable is underpricing. The independent variables are the disclosure of intellectual capital and institutional ownership. This study also uses the control variable, they are return on assets, firm size, financial leverage, and underwriter reputation. The results show that intellectual capital disclosure has significant negative influence to the level of underpricing, while institutional ownership variable is not significant. Financial leverage and underwriter reputation as a control variable have significant negative effects to the level of underpricing.While other control variables are return on assets and firm size have no significant effect to the level of underpricing.Keywords: intellectual capital disclosure, institution ownership, underpricing, return on asset, firm size, financial leverage, underwriter’s reputation.
