Abstract

Human resources is a very important factor as a driver in the face of global current era. The competitiveness of an organization depends on human resources owned. Particularly associated with either organization and organizational commitment of teacher performance. This study aims to analyze the performance of the teachers SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Variables used in this study is to use a variable of transformational leadership and work ethic of Islam. Transformational leadership and the Islamic work ethic serves as the independent variable in analyzing the performance of teachers of SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. In addition to these two variables, there are still other variables used in this research thatorganizational commitment variable that serves as an intervening variable. This research usesensus method with a number of respondents as much as 78 teachers at SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Teknik of data analysis used in this study using data analysis techniques using the sruktural equation model Smart PLS (Partial Least Squere ). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership variables and the Islamic work ethic has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. Variable transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic and organizational commitment showed positive and significant impact onthe performance of teachers.Keywords :Transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic, organizational Commitment and teacher performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted for testing the influence of debt to equity ratio, insider ownership and firm size to price book value with the dividend payout ratio as the intervening variable in the firms registered at Indonesian Capital Market in the period of 2010 through 2013.Sampling technique applied in this research is purposive sampling. The data are collected based on the publication of Indonesian Capital Market Directory and www.idx.co.id. A number of 36 sample companies out of 472 companies registered at Indonesian Capital Market are obtained. Analytictechnique applied in this research is double linier regression to obtain a thorough picture ofthe relation between one variable and the others. This research is measured by seeing the determination coefficient, statistic value of F, statistic value of t, and intervening test. Besides, classic assumption test is also conducted, involving normality, multicollinearity, auto-correlation,and heteroscedasticity tests.The analysis result shows that DER variable partially influences significantly negative to DPR, insider ownership variable partially influences significantly positive to DPR, firm size variable partially influences significantly positive to DPR, DER variable partially influences significantly negative to PBV, insider ownership variable influencessignificantly positive to PBV, firm size variable partially influences significantly positive to PBV and DPR variable partially influences significantly positive to PBV. The regression test result with intervening variable states that Dividend Policy (DPR) is not intervening variable, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) variable, insider ownership and firm size toward Price Book Value (PBV).Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio, insider ownership, firm size, dividend payout ratio and price book value

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of leadership, organizationalculture, organizational commitment to the performance of human resources at the elementaryschool in Wawotobi. Data collection and issemination on the questionnaires respondents i.e.teacher of Civil Servants at the elementary school in Wawotobi.The sample of this researchsample as much as 77 primary school teachers who are scattered at 14 Elementary Schoolsin district Wawotobi who made the object of research. This research uses descriptive analysisto determine the characteristics of the respondents and the deskriptik of the respondents foreach of the indicator variable. The instrument used to test the relationships between variablesusing the SEM methods and analytical techniques PLS (Partial Least Square). The findingsof these research results showed the absence of significant positive influence of leadershipon organizational commitment. Leadership and organizational culture-positive significanteffect on performance of Human Resources, organizational culture positive significant effect oforganizational commitment, and organizational commitment affect positive signifikanterhadapHR performance. The implication that a good leader in the organization always providemotivation on subordinates, fostering creativity and innovation, as well as involving subordinatesin decision making, so that the performance of Human Resources will increase. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an intervening variable in mediating the effects of Good Corporate Governance and Leverage for Financial Performance.Samples are 132 companies went public and consists of several industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2013. Sampling using purposive sampling technique that is based on the completeness of the annual report of each period studied and the conditionsthat have been determined by researchers. To test the hypothesis using linear regression analysis barganda (Multiple Linear Regression) with the application of SPSS version 20.Based on the resultsof data analysisshowedthat theLeverageandCorporateSocial Responsibility (CSR) simultaneously significant effect onfinancial performance. PartiallyGCGsignificant effect onCorporateSocial Responsibility(CSR), whilegood corporate governancedoes not affect thefinancial performance, andLeverageno significant effect onCorporateSocial Responsibility(CSR). VariableCorporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) can becomean intervening variablein mediating theeffects ofGood Corporate GovernanceforFinancial Performance. Abstract

This study aimed to test the performance improvement model with variables: organizational climate, work motivation, communication, job satisfaction, and trust. The study was conducted by survey method by distributing questionnaires to 105 members of the “Satlantas Polres Jepara”. Sampling studies using Random Sampling Proportional method.The results showed that the performance of members can be optimized by building a conducive organizational climate, as evident in this study that organizational climate directly affects the performance. Next the performance of members can also be optimized by always providing the motivation and confidence to members, because this study also proved that both these variables directly affect performance. Furthermore, this study also prove that job satisfaction as an intervening for the relationship of organizational climate to performance, can be interpreted that in order to optimize the performance of effective communication can be built, but prior to the performance improvement should be created in the working member satisfaction first.Keywords: organizational climate, work motivation, communication, trust, job satisfaction, performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyzed budget participation influenced toward managerial performance with management costing knowledge and motivation as moderating variable. The population included was manufacture companies in Semarang City. Sampling using a purposive sampling method and obtained 84 samples that meet the criteria and free from outliers. The data used in this study is primary data, questioners for managerial level. Multiple Regression was used as analysis technique. The result showed that only motivation was rejected, while budget participation and management costing knowledge hypothesis was accepted.Keywords : budget participation, management costing knowledge, motivation

Abstract

Career development is the process of implementation (implementation) career planning. Employee career development can be done through two pathways, namely through education and training (Training) and through non-training (Weighman, 2002). Career development of an employee to occupy a position position is influenced by factors that include the attitude of employers and co-workers, experience, education, achievement, and factors fate. Research Labbase (2010) mentions factors that consists of education and training (training), work performance, work experience and expertise of employees simultaneously significant effect on career development. The problem that often arises is how to optimize career development in Central Java Training Agency. The results of research that education has positive influence on employee performance, the Training Agency of Central Java Province can develop and improve employee to follow training, Technical Guidance, Courses and Workshops, which is expected by the employees participated in some of these education can improve employee performance; Education positive influence on career development, career development of an employee. Discipline is not able to moderate education on job performance, Career development in Central Java Training Agency can be optimized through increased education, competence and job performance of employees. To enhance the career development of the Province of Central Java Training Agency may consider the education and competence of employees, because the view of the results of the study are positive influence between education and competency to career development.Key words : Antenseden Career Development in Central Java Training Agency

Abstract

This study investigates how family control affects the corporate values and performances.Then, We also test the effect of size moderation on relation between family control affects the corporate values and performances. The respondents are all of the corporates that listed in Jakarta Stock Exchanges (JSX) on 2004 until 2007. Purposive sampling is used to choosed data’s or samples. This study only gets 30 corporates of services from of them. Regresy Linier is used to analyzed this data’s, but before it we done classics assumption test. The result shows that variable of family control directly has not positive effect to the corporate values and performances. It is evidenced by statistic analysis with t-value -0,044 and level of significance about 0,816 for the first hypothesis and with t-value 0,156 and level of significance about 0,412 for the second hypothesis. It is not support prior research by Barontini dan Caprio (2005). The test of size moderation gets result that the corporate values and performances are effected by size of corporates. It’s evidenced by level of significance about 0.00.Keywords : Agency Theory, Family Control, Firm Value, Firm Performance.
