Abstract

News website have become one of the media used to distribute information in line with the large use of the large use of internet. A website must be designed to meet the needs of every users in obtaining information, including people with disabilities as regulated in Act. Number 8 of 2016 article 24. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to measure the level of accessibility of news website pages, where this study uses Detik.com news site as one of the largest media in Indonesia. The evaluation was conducted using the Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) to measure the level of accessibility of Detik.com news site according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 standard with the assistant of AChecker and WAVE evaluation tools. The result shows that none of the pages of Detik.com comply with the WCAG 2.0 minimum accessibility standards. The majority of web pages can not convey the purpose of both text and image links with clear context. Improvements to the accessibility barriers found can be carried out immediately to improve the level of accessibility of Detik.com news site.

Abstract

A portable water ionizer has been successfully developed as an innovative solution to provide healthy and high-quality water conveniently while traveling. The device utilizes six 18650 lithium-ion batteries connected in series with a maximum voltage of 25.2 Volt DC and a current capacity of 1500 mAh as the main power source for the water electrolysis process. Additionally, two 8.4 Volt DC batteries are used to power the microcontroller and sensors. The total power required for the entire device is approximately 13.274 Watt, allowing the device to operate for approximately 3 hours. Portability testing was conducted through a questionnaire involving the participation of 22 respondents. The majority of respondents, 15 out of 22, stated that the device is easy to carry while traveling and demonstrates good portability. This can be attributed to its compact dimensions (17 cm x 13 cm x 37 cm) and relatively light weight (1.5 kg in dry condition and 2.5 kg in water-filled condition). Another advantage of the device is its ability to operate without a connection to household electricity, making it a practical and portable option for users to carry while traveling. The positive results of the portability testing confirm that the portable water ionizer successfully meets the desired portability standards. With its easy-to-carry design, the device can be an efficient and convenient solution for individuals who travel frequently and prioritize the quality of the water they consume.

Abstract

Cash payments are starting to shift towards an electronic or cashless payment system. While the process of transferring balances between ewallet at this time is considered less effective because it requires withdrawal from ewallet and replenishment using banks. This paper presents how to develop a Backend Server based on REST API Architecture using the NestJS framework on a ewallet transfer system. The development uses NestJS framework tools, MySQL database, API testing with Postman, Extreme Programming (XP) development method, and BlackBox Testing method. The result of this research is a server side system for transferring funds between ewallet in the form of a REST API that can be used by frontend and mobile developers.

Abstract

As technology develops, many things can be used as methods in obesity prevention education, one of which is by creating an obesity prevention educational game. This educational game is designed with the aim of raising public awareness of what causes obesity in a different way. Through the development of the Digital Game Based Learning-Instructional Design (DGBL-ID) model, this research includes needs analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and game implementation & evaluation. Needs analysis involved an online survey of people with obesity, showing their interest in games as an educational medium. Game design involved storyboards and flowcharts, with the story being about Bono looking for healthy food for his obese friend. Development is done using Unity with an interface that includes the main menu, level list, stage list, game play, and game results. Quality assurance will involve black box testing and implementation evaluation by respondents. This article produces an obesity prevention educational game that is expected to increase public awareness about the risks of obesity through an interactive and informative game experience.

Abstract

This study focuses on applying the Apriori algorithm to course grades of 150 students. The research aims to uncover correlations between course grades, providing insights for both the researcher and the institution. Data was directly extracted from the student academic database. The Apriori algorithm was implemented in three scenarios with varying minimum support and confidence thresholds. The final results depict patterns in course grades that tend to co-occur. Among the three scenarios, the combination of Game Development with an A grade, Informatics Fundamentals with an A grade, and Advanced Math with an A grade yielded the highest values, with a support of 26% and confidence of 88.6%.

Abstract

PAUD Permata Tunas Daud is one of the early childhood education schools in East Java. As an early childhood education institution, communication between the school and parents regarding monitoring progress of students is very much needed; that's why Permata Tunas Daud PAUD implements two-way communication with a communication book run every week. However, physical books that frequently change hands carry a risk of loss and damage. In addition, the existing document form contains only some of the information one wishes to receive and convey. Therefore, this study aims to develop a system to help share teachers' knowledge with parents. This research used the waterfall method for software development and design thinking for problem collection. After the analysis, a solution for making an information system is determined with several features, such as an assessment element carried out by the teacher; this feature facilitates the teacher to create information on child development, which will later be displayed to parents. The system also provides an announcement feature for teachers to share knowledge with parents to support children's growth. After the software is developed, the system will be tested with two testing methods, namely black box testing and testing the user with User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Based on the UAT that has been carried out, it is found that each test has produced a value greater than or equal to 80%, so it can be concluded that the system succeeded in getting good scores from all aspects and for each user.
