Abstract

Finance in school is a very important part because almost all school activities require money. Finance also needs to be regulated as well as possible, for that it needs good financial management. The financial management system available at Khaira Ummah Padang Islamic Middle School has not worked computerized or still uses conventional methods. Therefore, there needs to be other media as a means to help financial management become better. The purpose of this final project is to study, analyze, and design a school financial management information system at Khaira Ummah Padang Islamic Middle School. This information system is designed using the MVC (Model View Controller) architecture method. The tools used are Sublime Text as a text editor, PHP programming language, MySQL as database, Apache web server, and CodeIgniter framework. The final result of this design is a web-based information system that contains matters concerning school financial management at Khaira Ummah Padang Islamic Middle School.

Abstract

Ensuring fairness and consistency in scholarship selection remains a major challenge, particularly in institutions serving underprivileged students. Conventional decision-making methods are often subjective and lack standardized evaluation criteria, leading to inconsistent outcomes. This study proposes a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) integrated with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to enhance the objectivity, transparency, and efficiency of scholarship selection. The AHP method enables stakeholders to perform structured pairwise comparisons of selection criteria, calculate consistency ratios, and generate priority weights to rank candidates objectively. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, and designed via a modular MVC architecture. A case study involving 45 applicants across three vocational high schools in Padang, Indonesia, was conducted using five criteria: academic performance, parental income, number of dependents, extracurricular achievements, and student organization involvement. Evaluation results show that the system reduced processing time by 38%, improved ranking consistency, and increased stakeholder satisfaction based on survey feedback. The system’s centralized, web-based nature also facilitates data sharing between schools and education authorities. Despite its benefits, limitations include the use of static weight configurations and restricted institutional coverage. Future work will focus on incorporating adaptive decision models and expanding implementation across a wider educational context to support policy-driven flexibility.

Abstract

English speaking ability has become a mandatory skill that must be possessed by academics in Indonesia. Mastery of English orally and in writing is one of the main requirements in continuing education to higher education or in applying for jobs. Pare is a well-known city in Indonesia as a center for learning foreign languages, especially English. Global English is one of the largest course institutions in Pare with the number of students reaching hundreds of students per period. Often there is an unpreparedness on the part of the course institution to anticipate events or even a decrease in the number of students, causing the quality of services they can provide is less than optimal. This study aims to make accurate predictions of the number of students who come to study languages ​​at Global English. With this accurate prediction, Global English can make more thorough preparations. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) or artificial neural network is a computing system in which architecture and computing are inspired by knowledge of nerve cells in the brain. ANN is a model that mimics the workings of biological neural networks. By doing the learning process, the artificial neural network can organize itself to produce a consistent response to a series of inputs. Artificial neural networks are designed and trained to have human-like abilities. One of the advantages of ANN is that it can be used to predict reliably on certain conditions based on available data. Therefore, Predictions in this study will be carried out using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) using the Back Popagation method

Abstract

The development of technology has brought changes in various areas of human life. The development of this technology which provides a diverse impact to a wide range of domains of life including in the realm of education. No exception to the information system of academic in SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. After conducting research and interviews with teachers about information system that are running at the school. It can be seen at this time in SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung that teachers, staff, students and academic grades data still use manual in processing, so the process will take a long time. To overcome it, an information system of academic application are built for SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. This information system of academic using the PHP programming language with CodeIgniter Framework in designing, the software development code generator or editor of its use Sublime Text 3, MySQL as database design, as well as Xampp-win 32-1.6.8 for the connections. This final project produced an information system application that provides the facilities of information for the member of school to managing information such as the data of teachers, staff, students and students' academic grades to be a report card.

Abstract

Rapid development in information technology directly impact on the education system in Indonesia, including on technology and vocational education. Computerized process used at every level of the education system makes information technology as an integral part of the education system in various countries, including Indonesia. SMKN 1 Padang as one of a big educational institutions and vocational technology in the city of Padang. However, the utilization of information technology in SMK 1 Padang is still very minimal. Data management process and learning activities are still carried out manually. With the large number of membership programs and number of students, this wayof process less efficient considering the chance of the possibility of error, either in the form of data inconsistencies as a result of the mistake input process value by teachers as well as the possibility of errors in data processing of other student's academic. Coupled with the length of time required to process the data and the number of resources required. Hence the need for a system that manages all the data management process in SMK 1 Padang. In terms of the development and management of the system, often found difficulty in developing the system further. One effort that can be done is to design and implement a system of academic portal as a means of academic activities management at SMK 1 Padang. Academic Portal was designed and developed based on architecture HMVC using the programming language PHP and MySQL database, with CodeIgniter framework, bootstrap framework, javascript, ajax, HTML5 and CSS3. Implementation of HMVC architecture in academic portal at SMK 1 Padang is one of solution to the problem of data management academic at SMK 1 Padang. The system was designed and developed the portal is expected to support process optimization performance of academic services at SMKN 1 Padang. HMVC architecture implemented in the portal system for further development of the portal system.

Abstract

The increase of internet and mobile technology has grown so fast, provides proper opportunities for rising up services to customers. In fact, this could mean the real services providing in real time and space. Nowadays, many business organizations has used mobile commerce technology. In these sectors, mobile commerce is not only being widely accepted but also it is being more used as a popular way of business/commerce. In this final project, developing mobile commerce aplication with Android Platform, based client-server in case studies Toko balanjo.com. The purpose of this project is to create sales and marketing products online which contains information and order process product. In this mobile commerce applications project, using CodeIgniter framework for server and android device for client. After the implementation of mobile commerce applications in this final project works so well. So that it can be implemented by tokobalanjo.com, in the promotion, sales and marketing online, and data management costumer, products, sales and marketing, and also the report data. Application design of mobile commerce in Padang based on Android will made using java programming language, Android Studio as IDE, Android SDK for Android application development. for design web-service is using PHP programming language with codeigniter framework and for design databese is using MySQL. This application will help users find the product and stuff in Padang. This application installed on Android-based handphone devices.
