Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze both partially and simultaneously the effect of reward, punishment, and motivation on employee performance in private educational institutions in South Tangerang City. The research method applied is quantitative with a sample of 45 employees from several private schools. The findings indicate that rewards have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as proven through the partial t-test (tcount 2.172 > ttable 1.68195). Punishment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, supported by a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount 4.396 > ttable 1.68195. Motivation likewise shows a positive and significant impact on performance, indicated by tcount 5.994 > ttable 1.68195 and significance level of 0.000. Furthermore, reward, punishment, and motivation simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as evidenced by Fcount 76.473 > Ftable 2.83 and significance value 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a vital role in the Indonesian economy, contributing more than 60% to GDP and absorbing 97% of the workforce. However, despite this significant contribution, MSME actors still face various legal challenges, including a lack of contractual protection, limited access to financing, and low legal literacy. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of legal protection for MSME traders from two primary perspectives: economic law and Consumer Protection. The research method used is normative law (normative juridical), by examining laws and regulations, legal doctrines, and related academic literature. The primary legal materials analyzed include Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning MSMEs, Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, and other relevant regulations. The results show that although a normative legal framework is available, its implementation and effectiveness are still not optimal. From an economic law perspective, complex bureaucracy and high litigation costs hinder MSMEs from obtaining legal certainty, thereby creating detrimental uncertainty. Meanwhile, from a consumer protection perspective, MSME actors are faced with new challenges in the digital era, such as personal data protection and intellectual property rights, which they often do not understand. In conclusion, concrete steps are needed from the government and stakeholders to increase legal protection for MSMEs. The recommendations submitted include simplifying regulations, increasing legal literacy, facilitating alternative dispute resolution, and adapting regulations to digital dynamics. This research is expected to make a theoretical contribution to economic law and become the basis for policy formulation that is more in favor of MSMEs, in order to strengthen business sustainability and the foundation of the national economy.

Abstract

Today's global developments mark a shift toward the era of Society 5.0, a concept of society that integrates intelligent technology with humanistic values. This transformation has significant implications for the world of education, particularly in shaping a new paradigm for the concept of learning. This study aims to analyse the concept of learning in the Society 5.0 era through a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were collected from academic literature, journal articles, and relevant educational theories, then analysed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the concept of learning in the Society 5.0 era is an integration of three main approaches: constructivism, connectivism, and humanistic learning. Constructivist theory emphasises the active involvement of students in building knowledge, connectivism explains the importance of digital networks as a source of learning, while humanistic learning ensures a balance between technological sophistication and human values. The implications of this study include the need for an adaptive curriculum, as well as blended learning and project-based learning models, and a shift in the role of teachers to facilitators and mentors. Thus, the concept of learning in the Society 5.0 era can be formulated as a learning process that is both technological and human-centred, where technology serves as a means of human empowerment. This article makes a theoretical contribution to the development of 21st-century education and offers practical guidance for formulating education policies that address global demands.

Abstract

This research explores the dynamics of identity culture in Southeast Asia, focusing on how globalization affects and shapes cultural identities in the region. Using a literature review approach, this study analyzes various literature sources to identify key themes related to cultural diversity, the influence of globalization, and cultural hybridity. Key findings show that Southeast Asia has a rich cultural diversity, with each country in the region displaying unique traditions and customs. However, globalization presents challenges in the form of cultural homogenization, which threatens local uniqueness. Nonetheless, Southeast Asian societies also demonstrate adaptability through cultural hybridity, reflecting the merger of traditional and global elements. This research highlights the importance of preserving local culture while participating in the flow of globalization and proposes policies that support cultural education as well as the preservation of local heritage. These findings offer new insights into how cultural identities in Southeast Asia continue to evolve and transform in response to global change
